Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing this matter several times. Your efforts in resolving my problem were ineffectual. What else should I do for you to give thorough attention to my dilemma? I believe there may be an error in the reporting, and I am seeking your assistance in rectifying this issue. BANK OF AMERICA XXXX - Those payments were made on time. I am requesting that the late payment markings be updated to reflect my accurate payment history. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received information that XXXX XXXX, a Director at Bank of America located XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX had accepted monies in exchange for debiting the exact amount of my payroll check from my account using my debit card number. The person ( s ) she colluded with had also sent her copies of my debit card and driver 's license. To avoid this illegal debit, I contacted Bank of America customer service the same day and froze my account number XXXX to avoid any debits and informed them that I would go to the branch to open a new account. On XX/XX/2023 I opened a new account but was not able to transfer the funds to the new account until XX/XX/2023. As a result, my mortgage was paid late. Because XXXX is a Director with Bank of America, she has access to all of my banking information. Therefore, my efforts to protect my account are futile at best. On XX/XX/2023, a complaint regarding this matter was submitted to the Federal Trade Commission, report number XXXX. I've recently received communication that she has made a duplicate copy of a pay stub and as to what the plans are for it, I am unsure. As a consumer, I should be able to trust the personnel working at the bank. Please open an investigation into XXXX XXXX and her handling of funds especially in regard to my account. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Bank of America failed the ID verification responsibilities under XXXX CFR Part XXXX Subpart J - known as XXXX XXXX. A fraudulent account was set up in the Bank XXXX Hawaii using my personal information and a suspicious transfer was deposited in my account with Bank of America for {$0.00}. I alerted Bank of America of this fraudulent transaction and fraudulent account by calling their fraud department. I told Bank of America not to send any money to this Bank XXXX Hawaii account, because it was a fraudulent account opened in my name. It is typical for these fraudulent accounts to deposit a small amount of money into an account before they perform checking fraud/transfer fraud. This was done on XX/XX/23. Bank of America informed me that an account freeze was not necessary and that they would not send any money to this account with Bank XXXX Hawaii. The next day, XX/XX/23, {$4700.00} was debited from XXXX Bank of America account and transferred to the Bank XXXX Hawaii. Bank of America failed in their duties to verify the identity of the account holder requesting the transfer of funds. The account balance remains outstanding, Bank of America has failed to make me whole in this instance of fraud.

Consumer Complaint: The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) emphasizes the importance of consumer reporting agencies handling consumer information with fairness, impartiality, and respect for privacy. This mandate is clearly stated in 15 USC 1681 Section 602 ( a ), which declares the need for " consumer reporting agencies to exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. '' As a consumer, I have the right to protect my private information from being shared, as outlined in 15 USC 6801. This section states that " It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic personal information. '' Notably, the " furnisher of information to credit agencies '' qualifies as a financial institution under this statute. Furthermore, 15 USC 1681 Section 604 ( a ) ( 2 ) restricts the circumstances under which consumer reporting agencies like XXXX and XXXX can furnish consumer reports. This section explicitly states : " In general, subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' Neither XXXX nor XXXX, nor the furnisher of information, possess written consent from me to access my personal information. Therefore, any form of implied or verbal consent, written or otherwise, is hereby revoked. Moreover, 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) requires financial institutions to inform consumers about their " nondisclosure option '' before disclosing nonpublic personal information to unaffiliated third parties. However, the furnisher of information failed to inform me of this right. Additionally, 15 USC 1681c ( a ) ( 5 ) prohibits consumer reporting agencies from including " other adverse item [ s ] of information, '' other than criminal convictions exceeding seven years, in consumer reports. This provision directly contradicts the inclusion of outdated negative information on my report without my permission. In conclusion, the actions of XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and the furnisher of information clearly violate the Fair Credit Reporting Act and my right to privacy. I demand immediate rectification of this situation, including the removal of unauthorized information from my credit report and adherence to the legal requirements outlined in the aforementioned statutes as well as XXXX XXXX per violation of the FCRA. Consumer Complaint: As a consumer I had both a personal and a business checking account with Bank of America and due to identity theft these accounts were closed down without proper validation. These actions greatly affected me financially. Recently I put them on notice regarding this issue and Bank of America stop reporting negative information to third-party companies. As of today I contacted Bank of America trying to open up accounts with the institution and was denied in violation of my consumer rights. Bank of America is discriminating against me based off my false and in accurate information. The harm that is being done to me is defamation to my character and my financial stability. It is unconstitutional for Bank of America to deny my rights as a consumer without providing just compensation for their dishonor.
