Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute inaccurate information that has been reported by settled accounts on my credit report. Upon reviewing my credit report, I have noticed discrepancies that need to be addressed promptly. I am concerned that this inaccurate reporting is negatively impacting my credit score and financial standing. AMERICAN EXPRESS XXXX There must have been an error and this must thoroughly investigate. XXXX and XXXX have already removed this account from their records. Please delete this from my file. It is inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or unverifiable. Despite settling this account, the information reported inaccurately suggests otherwise. It is my understanding that settled accounts should reflect their accurate status on my credit report, and any discrepancy is not only misleading but also damaging to my creditworthiness. The terms of our settlement agreement clearly outlined that the account would be considered satisfied upon completion of the agreed-upon settlement amount. Therefore, I am puzzled as to why this information is not accurately reflected on my credit report.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: I have several inquiries on my credit report that were not authorized and are unknown. Ive tried disputing with the companies, but I was told to dispute with the credit bureaus. I've disputed with the credit bureaus several times, but they have not removed those inquiries. I have not given my authorization for the inquiries, and I do not recognize any of the companies. I have not applied for new credit ( house, car, nor credit card ). Ive asked for them to send me written proof of my signature of authorization, but they can not provide this information. I would like for these inquiries to be removed from my credit report for all reporting bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: Ref : XXXX Dear American Express XXXX I, XXXX XXXX XXXX the consumer and natural person, was denied credit by American Express when I applied for a Blue Cash Preferred from American Express credit card. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act which is codified in 15 U.S.C 1691c and is pursuant to civil liability under 15 U.S.C 1692k. American Express is subject to criminally liability for violating 15 U.S.C 1691 as I have proof that I was discriminated against by American Express due to the response I received. American Express is in violation of 15 U.S. Code 1642, U.S.C 1681m AND 12 cfr 1002 because I, the consumer, made an application in good faith, but credit was not issued. Furthermore, because my social security number ( credit card ) was used and I received NO benefit, this is proof of fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) on behalf of American Express.
