Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 i, a consumer and natural person, entered a consumer transaction by extending credit to American Express for a Blue Cash Everyday credit card. I received notification via email that i was denied due to a credit score. There is no law that says i'm subject to a credit score or consumer report with XXXX, XXXX or XXXX. What law says i can be denied my own credit? I gave them my credit card, pursuant to 15 USC 1602L is any card ( social security card number ) and received no benefit. Pursuant to 15 USC 1602P no benefit to a natural person is unauthorized use. What law are they using to deny me my own credit? They've performed an unlawful adverse action.

Consumer Complaint: I have the receipts and the debit cards where I purchased the two cards they were serve American Express debit cards when was for XXXX the other one was for XXXX supposed to send it to my lawyer to pay for some fees and I got home and checked the cards and they were empty and I called the company and they said you got a register so I did or it said it was complete couldn't find out it didn't register so I went back today and tried to register again tried talking to them see if they direct me or have another way to do it nope it would not help but he said you got to register it with no other way also I tried I'm on my phone of course I tried to registered would not allow me to register so the furniture gone off the cards they won't let me register and they won't do it any other way they will not help they did not have an answer for that that you said I haven't registered I want them out of business because they're not supposed to feel the full money off my card number

Their response was to put a delinquent account remark on my credit reports. This is an extremely unpleasant company. It's like the toxic people at AMEX are double victimizing me by punishing me for having my identity stolen. They are expletives.

Consumer Complaint: American Express made me an offer for a personal loan but there was an issue with their website sending me an email needed to authenticate myself. After several calls they authenticated me and said to look for the email to accept the offer. They sent email on Thursday but I missed it until Saturday morning at which time the offer was expired and voided. American Express said I had to wait for another offer. They couldnt help resolve this and withdrew the offer.

Consumer Complaint: Have been called twice a day for the past few months about a debt that I attempted to pay off in XX/XX/XXXX. Payment was returned multiple times by American express and they refused to accept my money for payment and continue harass me by phone and email. Have contacted company and shown proof of thie mistakes multiple times but american express keeps selling off the debt to different company 's that continue to harass me and charge me interest on an account that was closed in XX/XX/XXXX. Everytime I dispute the incorrect debt with the debt collectors american express starts to contact me again saying I owe them even more money. Have reported them before and they stopped contacting me but have resumed contact again.

Consumer Complaint: I opened the Kabbage account on XX/XX/21 and initialed {$6000.00} from XXXX XXXX to it. They locked my account on XX/XX/21 and also withdrew {$6000.00} from my XXXX account. I requested them to return my {$6000.00} to my XXXX XXXX because I can't log in Kabbage account to transfer it. They said they can't because my account is locked. I asked them to close my account then send me back the balance, they said they can't close my account either because my account has {$6000.00} balance. Their system seems to be in an infinite loop! The system of this bank is very problematic, and the customer service is not professional, which can not solve my problem at all. I have uploaded all the documents they asked to unlock my account, but no one at their bank followed up on my case. I can't use my {$6000.00} fund for almost a month. They should pay me back the interest and the time I lost.

Consumer Complaint: I have been receiving my direct deposit on my American Express serve card for three been my third pay period and I have had no issues at no point in time have been notified by American Express or serve that they were going to be rejecting my direct deposit going forward their claim was because of activity on the account the direct deposit came in I use the debit card and took the money out that was the thing I have done the entire time Ive had the account open they are now refusing to deposit theres one direct deposit which is my last direct deposit and I will happily close the accounts after this but theyre refusing to even give it back to me and I can not afford to be in that got my paycheck which is why I have it direct deposited in the first place when I spoke to Two people the first person told me that the reason this was happening was because my name was spelled wrong on my direct deposit which was not correct at all it was a lie then the second person told me that at all she could tell me was it wasnt gon na happen I wasnt getting my direct deposit yesterday Im a XXXX they refused to transfer me told me they were as no one above them and there was no security department either that handled anything like this basically I was told that this decision comes out of thin air and it is what it is and I have to deal with it I will not receive my paycheck now for another week which means I will put my son I have a XXXX-year-old son that I put food on the table for I keep a roof over his head and I hate to break it to everybody but elections are now on the rise and thats what I will be facing because of this company

Consumer Complaint: The Platinum Amex card gives a {$50.00} credit every 6 months for purchases at XXXX XXXX XXXX. After confirming my card was enrolled, I made a qualifying purchase on XX/XX/XXXX. For separate reasons, I contacted Amex on XX/XX/12 in order to close my card. This was the last possible date where I could close the card and still receive a refund of my Annual Fee. Despite the fact that I met the criteria for my {$50.00} reward, the company refused to give me the credit before my card was closed. They also refused to give me a different, general purpose credit ( which they have done multiple times before when other rewards like the XXXX benefit were not functioning correctly, or as a general apology for poor service ), and they refused to extend the date that I could cancel the card and still receive a refund of my annual fee. The net result is that Amex has not provided a stated benefit of the card, despite me fulfilling the spending obligation and contacting the company to try and resolve the issue - I was even flexible with 3 different acceptable alternatives. I am now contacting the CFPB for what UDAAP issue

Consumer Complaint: AMEX abruptly terminated my AMEX Platinum credit card and Hilton Honor card WITHOUT any documentation or recording - NOTHING. Hostile action by AMEX forced a LOSS of over XXXX reared points worth over {$650.00} In addition there was a credit balance on the account of {$0.00} and the ruthless AMEX billing department failed to send me full compensation. ZERO NOTHING. CEO XXXX XXXX was notified and IGNORED request for arbitration and ignored full payment after account forced closure. DISHONESTY is allow in the banking industry to terminate accounstwith ZERO evidence! Four times AMEX has IGNOred issues on reared points LOST due to AMEX hostile action. 1. AMEX XXXX reward points 2.
