Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX, received a statement from American Express stating that XXXX XXXX owes a past debt of {$1700.00} and a new debt worth {$450.00} which as the original creditor, I do not validate and deem this inaccurate. American Express is in violation of 15 USC 1692 B ( 2 ) - Acquisition of location Information stating that I, XXXX XXXX, the original creditor owes a debt. This alleged debt also includes an interest charge which is in violation of 15 USC 1605 A ( 1 ). American Express is also is false representing the total amount which is violating 15 USC 1692 E ( 2 ) - False or Misleading Representation by saying I owe a past debt of {$1700.00} and a new debt worth {$450.00}. To dispute this account, I mailed a dispute letter, a copy of my FTC report for identity theft, a copy of my police report for fraud/impersonation/identity theft, XXXX forms of personal identification ( copies of my driver 's license, my social security card, and XXXX of my recent bank statements from the past 3 months ) along with a copy of the page of my credit report ( s ) on which the account was listed, in an envelope sent to the creditor of the account and I also put copies of the same documents in envelopes sent to all three credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX via USPS certified mail with return receipt, this was more than 60 days ago. The creditor and the credit bureaus have not mailed me a notarized contract with my signature on it within their XXXX allotted timeframe allowed by the FCRA ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ) to validate the account, and thus the account must be immediately deemed invalid, fraudulent, and not my liability, and it is hereby illegal for the credit bureaus and creditors to report this account on my credit report because the account was not validated within the required XXXX timeframe, and so the solution to my complaint is for the credit bureaus and for the creditor to immediately delete this account from my credit report. Consumer Complaint: Re : ACCOUNT # XXXX, XXXX, XXXX in the amount of DEBT AMOUNT, originally dated XX/XX/2021. You are hereby in receipt of notice under the authority of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act regarding your above referenced file number that part, or all, of the alleged debt is DISPUTED and hereby demand validation and verification, in writing, as follows : 1 ) An authentic signed contract between you and CLIENT showing proof that you and that person and you are now or were at one time in business together and other supporting documentation that gave rise to the alleged obligation CREDITOR is claiming owed. 2 ) An authentic invoice for goods and/or services you provided. 3 ) Statement, under penalty of perjury that : a. You are the bonafide party in interest of the contract and will produce said authentic signed contract ( # 1 above ) for my own and a judges inspection should there be a trial to contest these matters. b. The name and address of all persons, corporations, associations, legal firms or any other parties and entities having an interest in the collection or legal proceedings regarding the alleged debt. c. As a debt collector you have not purchased evidence of debt and are proceeding with this collection activity solely in the name of the original contracting party. d. You know and understand that certain clauses in a contract of adhesion are unenforceable unless the party to whom the contract is extended could have selectively rejected the clause. e. You will provide written verification from the stated creditor that you are authorized to act on their behalf in this debt collection action. f. You have taken reasonable and prudent diligence to verify that the amount claimed owed is in fact a legitimate debt prior to instigating this action and making said claims, and that all relevant correspondence has been reviewed prior to initiating this claim. g. If you are not the holder, then you admit to being the servicer of this obligation. 5 ) Please also stipulate for the record whether or not my loan has been securitized, and if so, the name of the XXXX my loan is bundled with. 6 ) If my loan has been securitized, then please provide me the pooling and servicing agreement that names my loan as well as any documentation that explicitly gives you the right to service my loan as well as enforce the promissory note in the event of a foreclosure. If you are hiding these facts from my despite my request, then you are hereby notified that you are committing fraud and shall be named in a wrongful foreclosure civil action. 7 ) Pursuant of U.C.C. - ARTICLE 3 -3-501 ( b ) 2 ( 1 ), I am entitled to demand presentation of the negotiable instrument. ARTICLE 3 3-301. 9 ) Under US Code TITLE 15 > CHAPTER 41 > SUBCHAPTER V > 1692g part b ), this debt is now officially in dispute. Consumer Complaint: Hello, I recently applied for an American Express Card and was declined for the following reason " You are participating in a payment relief or deferral program, receiving modified terms, or credit counseling services, on one or more of your accounts or loans. '' When trying to look into this on my XXXX report. The only deferral I see is on my Federal Student Loans which was applied automatically. I was informed under the CARES ACT this should not affect my credit, but appears this is the reason I am not able to get my American Express Card. I have been trying to resolve this issue with both American Express and XXXX and each is placing the issue on each other as an error they need to fix.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Consumer Complaint: I closed My American express account after XXXX years of on-time payments due to them dropping My spending limit from {$50000.00} to {$500.00} for NO reason. The XXXX card costs {$550.00} annually, so I asked for My annual membership fee back. They sent a check, I deposited it. XXXX months later I get a statement for {$660.00}? I closed the account on XX/XX/20, Inquired about the debt, they said they sent a " XXXX Check '' that was cashed? That never happened! I asked to have an image of both signed checks sent to Me and they never did and still have not. It was sent to a debt collector and My credit is still suffering because of their mistake. I hired a XXXX to force the end of this and he got nowhere as well. I have sent letters to corporate, no reply, spent hours on the phone, hired a XXXX with no progress. I have spent more money proving My position and it is still costing Me money every month on other accounts because of My credit rating. Please Help!
