I received a letter from T-Mobile advising me that my credit was compromised due to a security breach within their organization and further advised to check my credit. Consumer Complaint: Dear American Express I have been trying to resolve a fraudulent charge made to my account reference number XXXX. I spoke to XXXX and the supervisor XXXX. I have a charge made to my credit card that is fraudulent by XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Somehow a tailor name XXXX obtained my information at a conference and contacted me. I met with him at the end of XXXX to obtain a quote on some custom clothing. I informed XXXX upon looking and getting a verbal quote him that I needed time to think about it. XXXX shared that in order for him to hold the pricing he needed my credit card information. XXXX told me that he deeply discounted the pricing for me. XXXX assured me that he would not charge my card and to just let him know if I wanted to move forward or not. I told XXXX okay and that I would let him know whether I wanted to move forward. After about 7 days and thinking about the impending financial obligations I had during the pandemic, I texted XXXX. I texted him first on XX/XX/2021, then on XX/XX/2021, and finally on XX/XX/2021 and shared that I could not afford anything right now and to cancel my quote. I would contact him once my finances got better. XXXX never responded. When I received my American express bill, there was a charge for XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX. I was shocked as I did not know who or what this was. I immediately disputed it with American Express in XX/XX/2021. I contacted American Express via phone with my dispute as XXXX would not respond to my texts. I explained to American Express that I had not ordered anything. A dispute was initiated. I received an email from American Express within about 3 days from my original dispute stating that the merchant replied saying that the order was not able to be canceled due to it already being in production. I am like what production. I never ordered anything. So I called and notified American Express that I had in fact contacted XXXX as per his directions to let him know if I was moving forward or to cancel my quote. I did cancel it per the email and text and thought that was the end of it until I saw the charge for XXXX on my card. After responding to American Express, I then received an email from American Express again with documents provided by the merchant. In the merchants reply, the documents listed their cancellation policy and a signature approving purchase stating that I could not cancel. I am dumbfounded now, as I never ordered anything and neither have I received anything from the merchant. I immediately contacted American Express and informed the representative sometime in XX/XX/2021 and followed up with numerous calls in XXXX explaining that the signature for the charge is not mine. I explained that I never signed any charge authorization. I also shared that I have never received any merchandise from the alleged purchase made by me. The supervising representative XXXX informed me that they would dispute it again as fraud because the signature is visibly not mine. I waited but heard nothing back. I then received another notice that the merchant responded, and the charge was added back to my card. I was blown away again. I am saying to myself this is a nightmare! How can American Express charge me for something I never received and that I never signed for? I called American Express again on or about XX/XX/2021 and spoke to another representative who informed me that the charge would be handle by fraud. As the signature is not mine and that I never gave authorization to charge my card for the alleged purchase. The representative shared that the charge would be removed and had me on hold as they spoke to fraud. As of XX/XX/2021, the charge is still there. The signature signed for this charge is not mine. And I have never received any merchandise allegedly purchased. On XX/XX/2021 the charge was placed back on my credit card again. I still have not authorized any purchase nor have I received any merchandise.

Consumer Complaint: The American Express Platinum card purports to offer a {$100.00} statement credit once every 4 years against any charges for the XXXX XXXX application fee. Terms available here : https : //www.americanexpress.com/en-us/benefits/travel/expedite-your-travel/ However, in its terms, Amex states that customers must allow up to 8 weeks for the credit to post and that o be eligible for this benefit, the card account ( s ) must be active through the time of statement credit fulfillment. This means Amex can force a customer into another payment of membership fees for charges made while a card was open and good standing as happened with me. If the statement credit has not posted by the time the next membership fee comes due, the customer must either pay for another year to keep the card open, or give up the credit charged at a time when the card was open and in good standing. Does not seem customer friendly to me- in fact seems directly intended to deny customers benefits earned in the past unless another annual fee is paid. On XX/XX/2022, I paid the fee for my XXXX XXXX using my Amex Platinum card. The charge posted and was not pending on XX/XX/2022. On XX/XX/2022, I decided to cancel my Amex Platinum card because Amex has increased the fee to {$690.00} - more than I am willing to pay. I have, however, paid historically paid the fee for the card for at least two or three years. Nonetheless, Amex intends to deny me a statement credit because my card will not be open at the time they post the statement credit - which they can delay for as long as they want. This is unacceptable. They would have no problem posting pending charges to my account after it is closed, It seems to me, I should also be entitled to statement credits for for benefits that were available to me while the card was open.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, Thank you for reading my complaint : I had been contacted by a company name XXXX XXXX and they had offered me to fully Auto managed my shop and my business and I had spent few hours with one of their salesman and he kept promising me that they would be able to do this for me and I had told them that would be kind of impossible since after 30 years in business, it never worked in multiple times to reach this goal at least for me. They offered this service for {$15000.00} and they kept saying that they have ability to do all the work for me and I had to sit back and relax. They asked for {$5000.00} deposit and I paid them with my American Express card and very next day they sent me a link to go and watch 25 VIDEOS to be learned by me so I can know how to do this AUTO MANAGE for my business. This was more than JOKE and I called back and asked for refund ( The contract said that I have 30 days to cancel without any reason on both side ) and I had called less than 3 days. I'd opened dispute with American express and since then American express has made joke out me and keep closing the dispute case with no reason .I keep calling them and all of the dispute personal agree with me and tell me this is so stupid and unfair BUT after 2 hours the case is closed and we have to go on same circle again and again and again. I am not asking American Express for a favor and I have had supplied them with all information and documents they wanted me to but their dispute department do not care and they keep playing with me. I have called their super wiser and thought they would help but she ( XXXX ) kept talking none sense and telling me that, they paid this company and they don't want to make refund so American Express is loosing money!!!!!!!! Please can someone help me out here? Thank you so much again for taking your time and reading my letter.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2022 American Express To Whom It May Concern, I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX, semi-retired XXXX. I have carried an American Express card for some XXXX years. I have always been loyal to the brand throughout that time and had an exemplary record of payments and interactions. I felt that American Express 'Had my back ' throughout that time. I am currently on vacation in XXXX XXXX for XXXX weeks. I have used my business card several times for expenses, including internet services. Yesterday I received an email notice from Amex that my account had been CANCELED. I have always made payments on time and significantly higher than required. To my knowledge, there were no issues that could have prompted this action. I feel betrayed. I feel that American Express has no regard for my loyalty, and further, has no respect for my age. If this be true, I simply want ANSWERS Today, I spent more than XXXX hours on the phone and on hold only to be disconnected when required 'team ' member picked up. When I called back, I was told that I would have to be re-connected to the 'special team ' for resolution but that their 'system ' was down and it would be another extended wait. I opted to use online chat and asked to be connected to the relevant " team ''. I was told to call back. On XX/XX/XXXX of this year, I was notified by American Express, that another fraudulent payment had posted to my account, with XXXX balance for {$50000.00}. I immediately chatted with Amex XXXX, since it was after hours, and was told to call back in the morning, which I did. After spending several hours on the phone with no less than XXXX employees, I was told that the issue would be investigated and resolved by XX/XX/XXXX? Please note that XXXX was the day that the initial investigation was to be concluded. I intend to pursue these unexpected and unreasonable action on the part of American Express in any manner possible including social networks, government agencies, and potential legal actions of age discrimination. Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1605, the finance charge in question is not to include charges of a type payable in a comparable cash transaction, but American Express is attempting to take cash. Also, Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1643 ( d ), I am not liable for the unauthorized use of my credit card. The charges are unauthorized as I, the cardholder have received no benefit.

Consumer Complaint: I have had this card for about 2-3 years all my taxes and my stimulus money gets deposited on there for myself and my two children, the card had suspicious activity for hotel rooms that were not in my name but aren't fraud to this company, I deactivated and got a new one sent out that card was stolen from my mailbox and blue bird authorized someone to take that card and withdrew XXXX off that card. Now with a total of all fraud charges that XXXX did not authorize is a total of XXXX I have just today put in my 5th dispute with this company and I'm just stress and frustrated, I've made police reports, reports to the post office and nothing is enough for me and my kids to be entitled to my cash. So I did research and found u guys so I'm not only asking I'm begging for the help. I uploaded a text from the person thatstole my card.
