Consumer Complaint: I had booked a flight ticket on XXXX XXXX through American Express Travel portal for both my parents in the amount of {$2600.00} and had to cancel that due to XXXX. I was provided an airline specific credit in the total amount to be used until 2024. I'm trying to utilize that credit and book a flight for my parents on XXXX which costs {$1200.00} for both of them. However, American Express Travel is quoting a price of {$2500.00} + a {$150.00} change fee. This is more than double the cost of the ticket and is a simple case of American Express attempting to defraud me. I've contacted Amex Travel and their customer care multiple times and each time, their representatives hang up on me. I've been even put on 2+ hour holds at this time.

The total amount was reported to their fraud unit via telephone and email. ( Declaration of fraud for is attached ). In their XX/XX/2022 reply, they declined indicating that I have the right to review any documents we relied upon in making our determination. I requested these documents via certified mail, return receipt required. On XX/XX/2022, they sent me the attached e-mail stating that they did not review any documents to make their decision. I did not make the XXXX ATM withdrawals in the {$63.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I have been dealing with American Express since XX/XX/2020. I was put on a company credit card in which they are saying I am now the primary account holder. We have sent proof of payment to American Express and the courts which they took up the case. They continue to ask for this proof and we are on about time 10 now. The company has called them, I have called them and they either dont know who is working on this, the person they say is working on it when we call back is being told to us that never worked there, mailbox is full, never returns calls. At this point it is harassment and I would like to peruse charges of my own for putting it on my credi, emotional distress, and impact this had had on my personal business.

Consumer Complaint: I have an account with American Express that had a card limit of {$10000.00}. I have had this account open for 2 years and Ive NEVER had a balance over 20 % of my limit ( which has always been {$10000.00} ). I recently tried to make a {$9000.00} purchase and it was denied for security reasons. When I called the company a very sarcastic and blatantly XXXX man told me that he suspected I was using this card for un-meaningful purposes, and lowered my credit limit to {$1000.00} without even telling me he would do so. I have never missed a payment and I am of XXXX decent, my name is XXXX XXXX. I have absolutely nothing in my account history to warrant a massive credit deduction as such. Even my credit reports show for the last 12 months Ive only utilized 20 % of my available credit and I have had a consistent credit score of XXXX in these months. This is absolutely horrible, unwarranted on a account thats never had a 20 % + running balance ever in its 2-year existence. I tried calling this card company back but received little help. Whenever I call the card company i speak to XXXX workers who seemingly always have a XXXX ( sarcastic ) attitude because of my voice.

Consumer Complaint: AS a customer since 1999, I have made thousands of transaction and handful of disputes. A merchant named XXXX online charged my card promising they provide a service. They never rendered a service and I filed a dispute with the credit card company. The company suspended the charges pending dispute and then, quietly reinstated the charges of {$2900.00}. After sometime, I reminded them and they suspended again and this time again they quietly reinstated the charges and did not inform me as required by the law. I tried to resolve the issue by refiling the dispute. The system took me to a chat where I chatted with XXXX, Emp ID XXXX who among the other thing did not see the value of tenure in this dispute. That Employee transferred me to the manager XXXX, Emp. ID XXXX. At lease that is how they identified themselves.
