Consumer Complaint: I am writing this letter in reference to XXXX that your company is currently reporting to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX under my name. The account is being reported to have a derogatory rating which is very troubling to me! Ima worried about my credit because I was recently denied a loan and my existing credit accounts have increased my current interest rates. Please be advised that this negative rating has caused me some serious financial distress & will continue to cause me financial and emotional distress until it is resolved.

Consumer Complaint: Over the years, I have been a victim of identity more recently I found out on XXXX my personal information had been stolen and used in a fraudulently workers comp case. After this my bank account were hacked and money stolen. Debt collector bought my debt the pursued aggressively. They contacted debts and had some of my accounts closed after being late less than 30 days once XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The other two accounts I was late once less than 30 days because of a finical hardship. Which I contacted the two companies AMEX and XXXX told them and asked for payment plan - they both denied and started a collection and gave unrealistic payment options, that I could not pay. In XX/XX/XXXX, I refinanced my house to pay those two collections because AMEX sued me in court. In XXXX XXXX I paid AMEX collections department almost XXXX. The original debt was XXXX but with interest went up. I provided all three credit agency copies of court dismissal because I paid. It was suppose to be deleted in the status is reported wrong. " It states written or charged off for the full amount '' even though it was not written off and I paid in full nor will they delete or change that status. It is the Same thing for XXXX. I have XXXX balance but they refuse to change the status

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I while checking out from deltas website to buy a ticket I was presented an offer to sign up for an Amex Delta Sky credit card with a promotional offer of {$300.00} in stmt credit once a purchase is made, I proceed with application submitted and got no respond or an email with an answer, Im the pre application disclosure it states if approved I would received an instant XXXX credit to XXXX XXXX purchase instantly I never received it and I was approved install with a credit line of XXXX when contacted Amex they stated it was Deltas issue for advertising that way and they couldnt issue me the temp credit so I could use, if I would had know that I wasnt able to use the card to purchase that ticket I would had not applied as I had a different method of payment for this I only applied because of the offer that was made to me at checkout neither company delta or Amex wants to take ownership for this issue even when it clearly stated on the disclosure before applying I have a screenshot of this it clearly explain what are the terms to get the promotion I followed the steps and did not received the temporary credit so I could purchase the ticket now forcing me to go and spend more with delta in order the get the XXXX XXXX credit I spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to sort this out with sell delta and Amex. Also American Express never sent me an email to state wether my card got approved or not or any pre disclosures for me to ready when I asked they said I should had gotten one and that they didnt know why and could not re send it

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I sent an affidavit of truth in regards to a billing error for my American Express Account ending in XXXX. ( Attached ). According to the courier ( USPS ) the communication was confirmed delivered on XX/XX/2023. ( Attached ). A response within 7 days of receipt, was not required, if there was no authenticated records in existence. To date, no records have been delivered confirming the existence of an authenticated record of accounting, billing or debt. On XX/XX/2023 I received a communication from American Express ( hereafter AMEX ), dated XX/XX/2023. This communication outlined several false statements and actions the company intends to take if I did not " respond '' in time. The communication states, " Since your account ( s ) is past due and we haven't been able to reach you by phone, your account ( s ) will be cancelled if you don't act soon. '' The communication further outlines threats and actions were outlined, which included : " 1. Your account ( s ) may be cancelled. 2. You may lose any rewards you have pending with American Express, if applicable. 3. If your consumer account is reported to credit reporting agencies, your account will be reported as past due if we don't receive the total amount due for two or more consecutive billing periods. On XX/XX/2023 A copy of my credit reports ( XXXX report and XXXX Report attached ) show American Express already took fraudulent and unlawful negative action against my account reporting debt delinquency.

Consumer Complaint: I think that American Express is uncalled for and in the wrong for closing my accounts. My bank XXXX made an error with a stop payment for a different company that started with XXXX and they confirmed it was done in error. But American Express closed my accounts anyway even though I have made several payments and would never ever tell my bank to stop a payment to American Express which is an open card. On XX/XX/XXXX I never called American Express to do a stop payment for {$1000.00} and when I spoke to an Account Manager, XXXX XXXX, she said there was nothing to do be done. I think this is unfair and is very detrimental to my business.
