Consumer Complaint: I just found out Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency ( Pheaa ) does not have a license to do business in Michigan. Pheaa has been Revoked from Michigan since XX/XX/2014. The Department of Education canceled Pheaa license as federal servicer. Why did you not tell me this Pheaa?

Consumer Complaint: I have a loan servicer ( American Education Services ) that is trying to charge me {$130.00} a month starting in XX/XX/XXXX. My payment has always been under {$30.00} a month for the 10 plus years that I have been making payments on the interest for my student loans. I make only {$25000.00} a year at this time. I have another student loan that I will be paying on in the next couple of months and I am worried that I will be paying even more per month. I received some pension money ( lump sum ) from my former employer in XXXX, which was used to pay my car off and other debts. I still have credit card debt around {$8000.00} dollars and I help my mother pay for her medicines because they are higher now. I have a full-time job, but I am still struggling due to higher food and gas prices. I don't feel that AES is treating me fairly.

Consumer Complaint: I am a co-signer on a private school loan for my daughter. We took the loan out in XXXX and Ive been making payments on the loan since XXXX or XXXX. I cant recollect definitively when loan payments began, but I believe around around XXXX or XXXX, I did experience a financial hardship where I had request forbearance XXXX times from loan server AES. The loan is owned by National Collegiate Trust XXXX XXXX, and after a decade of on-time payments by me ( post forbearance request ) Ive been denied co-signer release benefit at least 3 times citing forbearance, even XXXX time is a disqualifying event for co-signer release per their terms. The loan was initially executed through XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. I did not know the loan by XXXX was even owned by NCT until years later when I initially starting inquiring about a co-signer release. I have never received documentation from XXXX or AES regarding the loan terms which supposedly include the forbearance stipulation.

Consumer Complaint: I'm XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX college ( XXXX ) in XXXX with student loans. I needed to take out loans to attend XXXX school a few years later and consolidated my XXXX and graduate loans. I have never defaulted on my loans although I did choose to put them in forbearance for awhile due to financial hardship. After years of working, my take home salary is finally at $ XXXX, which isn't even that much, especially for very expensive California. This means my tax rate has increased as well. It doesn't seem like any forgiveness programs apply to me and there's no chance my loans will be forgiven b/c they are held by a private company. I have a daughter with my ex husband and b/c of his financial situation, I pay for all of our daughter 's activities. I currently pay $ XXXX and at this rate, will be paying for another 6 years. I meet the qualifications for being a highly qualified teacher but I don't work at a school. I work as a XXXX XXXX in a low income area of northern California. I am asking for my loans to be forgiven. I have been paying them off for the past 27 years and still have 6 more years to go. Thank you so much for considering. I have paid more than my fair share of my loans and want to move on with my financial life. My loans are preventing this.

Consumer Complaint: This account is a direct violation to 15 USC 1681n, 15 USC 1681o, 15 USC 1681e, 15 USC 1681a2b, and IRS Publication 4681. I have been disputing this fraudulent account for years and it has been extremely difficult, damaging and hurtful. Not only is this not my account all three bureaus have conflicting information from, account type, date opened, payment status, comments, and payment history. Because companies can not keep my information safe, I have been a victim of multiple breeches, fraud, and other identity violations. I have suffered, denial of credit, increased cost of credit like paying 159 % interest for a small personal loan, and lost opportunity to obtain credit. I have suffered damage to my personal and professional reputation, derogatory info sent to insurers, creditors, banks, and employers. I've also suffered damage to my reputation among my peers ; loss of financial independence ; loss of self-esteem, being personally violated, and continuous harassment and invasions of privacy. Not to mention the emotional distress, embarrassment, and frustration of being denied credit, having to explain errors on the credit report, knowing that false information is being reported, physical symptoms : headache, loss of sleep, nausea, crying, irritable ; interference with normal and usual activities ( time spent trying to fix errors, get credit, review reports, interference with work, distracted, inability to concentrate. ) I am currently trying to get a new job and a new home, and this has come up yet again threatening my personal and professional wellbeing. This is absolutely total defamation of my character and humiliating to have to explain. This is also in violation of Fair Credit Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Public Law 111-203 ; Title X ; 124 Stat 2092. Please remove this off all my credit reports immediately.

Consumer Complaint: " On XXXX XXXX, 2022, the XXXX signed the Joint Consolidation Loan Separation Act to authorize borrowers to separate joint consolidation loans ( also referred to as spousal consolidation loans ). Once the joint consolidation loan is separated, each spouse would only be responsible for their portion of that previous loan. '' I have 2 loans, one is mine and the other belongs to my ex spouse. In order for me to be able to make fair payments to my loan the loans need to be separated. My ex spouse never made any attempts to pay any portion of his student loan. I asked my servicer AES to please provide updates regarding this signed law. They told me that there was nothing on file showing the spousal consolidation law was approved, let alone my qualification. I am one of the class members and am still waiting for this to show in my records and for AES to properly acknowledge and take proper action regarding this matter. It has been 5 months and there has been no information from the servicer.

Consumer Complaint: US Dept of Ed Borrower Defense Dept. has finally been held accountable for their actions. The judge issued their final decision and the email attached will express that decision. I highlighted the area that they need to pay close attention to. I called Borrower Defense this XXXX in reference to this email sent on XX/XX/XXXX, to remind them they need to make FedLoan Servicing aware that this is now ordered per the court to be removed from my credit. It does not matter that the servicing contract was canceled. They show this on my credit report still and as of XX/XX/XXXX when I ran my credit. It's now time to do their part. Borrower Defense said that they would notate my account. I don't trust them because when I filed my Borrower Defense app in XXXX, they ignored it, sat on it, did nothing and lied to me every time I called. Hence the need for the law suit. Well Sweet vs Cardona was settled in favor of the Plaintiff and it's time to start doing what the judge said! No more stone walling, it's over! Let 's clear the slate!
