Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my Consumer Report, I saw that I had a late payment on my report for an account that I had never been late with before. Consumer Reporting agencies are required based on FCRA 15 U.S. Code 1681B to furnish information on a consumer report to their best ability of Maximum Accuracy. The information on my credit report for XXXX XXXX XXXX account XXXX was reported inaccurately and has not furnished any information that my student loan payment was ever late which it had never been late. If the Consumer Reporting Agency can not furnish or prove this information to be accurate it needs to be updated to current for all months and any late information needs to be removed.

Consumer Complaint: AES has not provided accurate records to Federal Student Aid. When I view my AES loan details on studentaid.gov, the loan history shows my repayment starting on XX/XX/XXXX ; however, my loan repayment began in XXXX. Therefore, I am requesting they provide updated records to FSA starting in XXXX. AES has not provided me with accurate/ fully payment history from my loans. The payment history AES provided to me is only from XXXX ; however, the missing payment history should be from XXXX. I requested this for my own records too. These inaccuracies are preventing me from completing the PSFL process that I started two years ago. If this issue is not resolved in a timely manner I will continue reaching out to other advocates.

Consumer Complaint: PHEEA and AES has been deceiving me and lying to me for years. I have been paying them on time for private and federal loans for decades. I have repeatedly asked, and presented them research that they were not allowed to keep collecting from me after I had been in payment for XXXX years. They denied. they concealed all the information from me. I moved the private loan to a different provider, who immediately forgave the entire debt, confirming that AES and PHEEA have been lying to me for years. AES/XXXX/Pheaa ( whatever their name is ) refused to send me a letter that me paying does not mean I admit to owing them money. I asked them to give me wire transfer information and the information to send checks. I am only paying due to their threats to defame me at the credit bureaus. I wrote numerous checks to them with the information they gave me. And I sent multiple wires to the wire transfer information they gave me. they did receive all the money -- many times my so-called " overdue '' amount. They refused to recognize, and did not update their website with the amount of money they took. I complained, and they immediately disabled my web account. therefore they are withholding all information about my account, since I do not have paper billing with them. I have written and called. They refuse to give me access online. They refuse to return the money I paid. I will now need to bring a lawsuit to collect stop payment fees I will need to pay to my bank, and for a return of the money that they stole without crediting my account. They refuse to tell me their actual company name, address for service of process, my account number, or any information at all about how to enforce my rights.

Consumer Complaint: I've been dealing with this since XXXX. Please help. I have ten loans in default held by PHEAA. I reached out to PHEAA asking about eligibility for XXXX XXXX program. I was told that my loans would be transferred, but they so far have not been. I believe my initial contact with PHEAA was on or about XX/XX/XXXX, and subsequently, on or about XXXX XXXX XXXX I was in touch with PHEAA again on XXXX XXXX XXXX I was told that my loans would be transferred to XXXX, but that, again, I would just have to wait. I have contacted D of Ed on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, only to be referred to PHEAA. My last contact with D of Ed on XXXX is still " under review. '' StudentAid.Gov tells me that I have these loans in default, with balance of ~ {$98000.00}, but both PHEAA and AES don't make the info available to me, though I can see on StudentAid.Gov that interest continues to acdrue. I have recently paid off a balance of ~ {$30000.00} with XXXX. I am in a position to pay approximately one-half of this balance, and then continue making payments, and have been trying to resolve this since XXXX. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: My son has a private student loan through XXXXXXXX XXXX Payments start in XXXX. The loan is serviced by AES XXXX American Education Services ). We moved from XXXX to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX and in XX/XX/XXXX changed our address via the post office mail forwarding systems and all online accounts to reflect this move with our new permanent address. In late XX/XX/XXXX, I was alerted by XXXX XXXX XXXX that my credit score had dropped from approximately 820 to 660. This was shocking to me as we have top tier credit, pay bills on time, and have low debt. The reason was that XXXXXXXX sent us an interest statement that got returned in error by the post office back to AES. Previously, we had been receiving mail from XXXXXXXX to the IL address without issue. Rather than contact my son or myself ( his father, the co-signer ) to verify our address, they report this to XXXX in a monthly statement that we can not be located. AES does not reach out to our contact emails or contact phone numbers that they have on file to ask about this. Therefore, XXXX decided to drop my credit score by over 200 points which is absolutely unfair and egregious. I have disputed this with XXXX with no result. The responses I get from XXXX are that they have not received any updates from XXXX to make a correction, so it has not been changed or corrected or deleted from my credit report. XXXX does not say how they contact AES, whom they speak with, or how this is going to get fixed. AES updates their notes once at the end of each month. AES tells me that they have corrected our issue in the XX/XX/XXXX note to XXXX, but as of XXXX, nothing has changed and my credit score is now at XXXX which is putting a chilling effect on my finances and will cost me money if this is not resolved immediately. I dont know which company is more at fault for this : AES or XXXX. On one hand, AES should not have reported this to XXXX, all they needed to do was verify our address by contacting us via phone or email, which they did not do. On the other hand, it is absolutely insane that XXXX can just decide to drop a persons credit score by XXXX points because one piece of mail was returned to the loan servicer by mistake.

Consumer Complaint: First Issue : 10-15 years and counting I have been requesting that Great Lakes be listed in the " Loan Servicer section on the studentaid.gov site and that studentaid.gov reflect all of my previous loan payments over the course of my student loans from the 1st disbursement and 1st loan repayment to current day. I have also been requesting that my loan history and servicers information be updated from both the U.S. Department of Education and Great LakesXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX To no avail Great Lakes is still missing as a servicer and any and all loan payments made are not reflective on stduentiad.gov or XXXX Second Issue : Great Lakes let me exhaust all of my forbearance / deferment/ and hardship repayment options without ever offering or telling me about the IBR/IDR repayment plan . When I finally exhausted all other options instead of offering or informing me of the IBR/IDR which has been around since XX/XX/2009. They either sold or transferred my loans to XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: My credit score was impacted severely from a reporting to all XXXX credit bureaus that I strongly disagree with. My score dropped by more than XXXX points which was devastating for me. I spoke to a representative with AES named XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX who advised that she did not see where my account was or should have been reported on XX/XX/XXXX. My credit report says that no payment was made for XX/XX/XXXX but that payment was made but late on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$180.00} which was only 15 days late, not 30 days late. Another payment made on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$190.00}. The account is currently up to date with no current payments due until XX/XX/XXXX. I requested that this derogatory information be removed from all XXXX credit bureaus so that my credit score can be restored. I just started a business and I am afraid that this reporting of 30 days late will affect my ability to obtain loans, credit cards for my business. I am the cosigner on this student loan for my daughter. She has had trouble paying this loan over the years and has always applied for forbearances and/or deferments but there are no other options available at this time to assist her with making her payments. Despite all of that, we have never been reported to the credit bureau ever before. I'd just like to be shown alittle grace and have this derogatory mark removed from my credit report.
