Consumer Complaint: I WENT TO XXXX WITH HEALTH ISSUE AND I HAD PURCHASED THE TRAVEL INSURANCE AND UNFORTUNATELY I COULD NOT TRAVEL AS I HAD PLANNED SO MY TRAVEL AGENT FILED THE CLAIM ON MY BEHALF WITH XXXX XXXX XXXX AND THEY PAID {$9900.00}, THE CHECK MADE FROM WELLS FAGO BANK UNDER MY NAME AND TRAVEL AGENT 'S ADDRESS, SO WHEN TRAVEL AGENT RECEIVED THE CHECK HE CASHED IT, AND COMMITTED FRAUD WHEN I FOUND OUT I CALLED THE TRAVEL AGENT HE DID NOT GAVE ME ANY EXPLANATION, SO I CALLED AND WROTE A LETTER TO XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX AND I DID FRAUD PAPER WORK WITH WELLS FARGO BANK BUT TILL NOW THERE IS NO SOLUTION.. I WOULD LIKE THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO ISSUE ME A NEW CHECK AND WITH MY NAME AND MY ADDRESS AND DEAL WITH TRAVEL AGENT AT THEIR CONVINIENCE. THANKS

They told me to fax it to archives where there is no contact person. I had to fax it. 3. I asked for a year of payment history for XXXX and they said they had to do a work order which could take a week 4. I faxed the finance department for the old bill and I havent received a response.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I opened a Wells Fargo account, had money transferred from My XXXX XXXX account, Then immediately had it canceled through XXXX XXXX same day. On XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo took {$1200.00} from my account I have yet to received that money and back into XXXX. Ive since learned that the bank can not take my money from an account unless I owe it debt to the bank and to whoever else which I do not owe anything to anybody. So now I consider it theft on Wells Fargos part I since learned with XXXX from XXXX XXXX also along with XXXX from Wells Fargo that XXXX XXXX put in {$1200.00} from all the mess and confusion frustration, aggravation, begging being disrespectful that the money they put in was not to be returned from me because of all the mess Wells Fargo created. So now I feel that that money was stolen. Im looking into filing a police report as I have the proof that the transfer was to be canceled that Wells Fargo took the money from my account without my permission proof that the money was never returned to citizens bank. Also, the ACH number does not exist in the ACH database anywhere that Wells Fargo provided XXXX XXXX. I am now finding out if I can make a police report on money that was stolen on me. I am looking into it with the police department a little later on today if I can, I am going to do so. As again that money was taken without my permission that is called theft, I also feel I should be compensated along with the money they owe me as citizens Bank does not want the money returned to them. It was mine to keep from all the mess Wells Fargo created and getting absolutely nowhere with them since XXXX XXXX I am now working with another rep. Her name is XXXX XXXX from Wells Fargo the money, the money was put in my Wells Fargo account on XXXX XXXX and I seen it on the XXXX. I spent a little money being I thought it was OK as it was my money not XXXX hours later that money that was put into Wells Fargo account was gone again as of today on Tuesday the XXXX XXXX XXXX manager her name is XXXX verified to XXXX from Wells Fargo that the money was never returned to my account. Nothing has been returned. Verified on the phone on a three-way conference call and XXXX told XXXX that XXXX has told this to Wells Fargo bank XXXX XXXX of this information, and XXXX can not help with this no longer she has spent hours upon hours in person with me on the phone with Wells Fargo for XXXX, we have been disrespected lied to. We had to hang up on man was disrespectful. Was given claim numbers that did not exist just a big mess. I feel that I am old my original money which citizens do not want back and was told that to XXXX, that to return those funds to XXXX as of yet I have not received anything from Wells Fargo and again being that that money was taken from my account illegally I feel they owe me more than the XXXX feel like I should be compensated. I was given {$200.00} from Wells Fargo for the best they cost and admitted to, but I feel that is not enough for the time aggravation frustrating times Ive had to deal with this Wells Fargo bank, this is my second complaint to your company about this matter as this new info I have learned about not being able to take money from me or anyone else unless they owe debt to you bank or federal. I guess I owe nothing to you or to anyone else it was this was done illegally on Wells Fargos part as they do have to cancellation of this transfer shouldve never been taken out of my account wasnt with my permission. The new person working on my case her name is XXXX XXXX As XXXX XXXX XXXX not my rep anymore and she had done nothing for me absolutely nothing and this is why I have my first complaint made to your company. Wells Fargo should not have forced closed my account. My account is scheduled to close on XX/XX/XXXX. Until then my account is frozen. Consumer Complaint: I have been dealing with Wells Fargo for months now over {$9000.00} worth of fraudulent charges that took place in XXXX. Last month I filed a CFPB complaint case number XXXX. Wells Fargo has finally credited the amount of the charges back to my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I received 3 letters from them dated XX/XX/XXXX regarding the CFPB case and 2 other complaints about the same fraudulent charges, stating that Wells Fargo had accepted the charges as fraud. Two of the letters, including the one that was CC 'd to the CFPB, state that Wells Fargo had credited the amount, as well as {$480.00} in accrued interest to my account. The third letter stated that the transaction was resolved in the same billing cycle so did not accrue interest. I am attaching these 3 letters. I repeatedly left messages with XXXX XXXX, the Escalation Representative on the case, asking about the interest charges that had not been credited back to my account, these calls were never returned. Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ), the amount of {$340.00} has been credited to my account. Wells Fargo has lied to the CFPB in the letter that was CC 'd regarding my case. Wells Fargo still owes me {$140.00} in interest charges. Wells Fargo has also refused to provide me an explanation regarding the investigation of my fraud case. On XX/XX/XXXX I called the fraud claims department to check the status of my fraud claim reconsideration, and was told that it had been denied. I was told that the credit card used for the purchases had been activated the same day as the first purchase ( XX/XX/XXXX ) using my phone number on file ( XXXX ). After getting off of the phone with the operator, I checked the call history on my phone and later on my phone bill to confirm that I had in fact not called any number to activate a credit card. I called the fraud claims department again the same day and told them that I had proof that my phone had not called any Wells Fargo activation number and that I wanted my case reopened for reconsideration. I called a third time that day to try to get more information regarding the duplicate credit card that they had sent out and found out that Wells Fargo had sent a duplicate card to an address in XXXX, California, XXXX miles from my home, and when I asked about the activation of the call, the representative looked up the record and found that there was NO phone number listed on the record of the activation. One of Wells Fargo 's fraud investigators lied in claiming that my phone number was used to activate the credit card. They lied in order to hold me liable for {$9000.00} in fraudulent charges that took place because of Wells Fargo 's lax security policies. They shipped a duplicate credit card to a place that I have never been to, XXXX miles away from me. The fact that it was a duplicate card made it incredibly difficult to even understand what had happened, and their fraud investigation team is either too incompetent or too corrupt to figure this out.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a complaint with Wells Fargo regarding an unauthorized charge that had been recurring on my debit card since 2021. This charge, amounting to {$4.00} every month, had accumulated to over {$100.00}. After contacting Wells Fargo 's claim department, they acknowledged the total amount and assured me that an investigation would commence, with a promise to refund the money if the charges were confirmed as unauthorized. However, upon the conclusion of their investigation on XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered that only {$1.00} had been credited back to my account. This was contrary to my initial understanding based on our conversations. Further inquiries revealed that Wells Fargo 's policy only permitted refunds for unauthorized charges made within 60 days of the first occurrence by the same vendor. This policy was not communicated to me during our initial discussion and seems inconsistent with their assurances. Consumer Complaint: I have a complaint I would like to file against WELLS FARGO HOME MORTGAGE. XX/XX/XXXX my husband died. Approximately 4 months prior to his death he had requested that his WELLS FARGO MORTGAGE LOAN be put in FORBEARANCE as XXXX had affected his monthly household income. Per his Last Will & Testament, He left the property to me, his Surviving Spouse. I was under extreme mental duress due to loosing him, XXXX XXXX and was not able to settle the estate per his Last Will & Testament swiftly, but I was in touch very frequently via phone and USPS mail with WELLS FARGO HOME MORTGAGE. They put together a LOAN MODIFICATION with a new interest rate and a 40 year fixed rate term. All accrued interest, fees, escrow due, and other expenses that added up on my dead husbands SOLE Ownership ( Deed/Mortgage ) Mortgage Loan was swept, in full, to the back end of the Mortgage Loan. This back end amount totaled {$28000.00}. It was added to approx. {$150000.00} in actual loan balance for an approx. grand total of {$180000.00} owing. Once again, remember that the modification was carried out over 40 years. That would make me about age XXXX when the loan would be satisfied given the established terms. I was overnighted Loan Documents about the 4th week of XXXX, with what I perceived as a threat attached ; that the documents must be SIGNED & RETURNED by XX/XX/XXXX or the Modification would fall through, which in turn would leave me Widowed and Homeless. I was driven to the bank by a family member on XX/XX/XXXX and per instructions asked for a Notary Public to witness my signature and initials. I had just experienced my first holiday season without my husband and it was all I could do get this completed. No terms or conditions were explained as the Notary Public directed me to each sticky note to sign or initial. I **did think it **strange that the loan number was the very same number as when my Husband solely held the loan. Reminder, he originated this XXXX XXXX Backed Loan years before I met him. In my state of extreme duress and depression, I was thankful not to be homeless. Recently, XXXX maybe, I get a CHECK FROM WELLS FARGO REMEDIATION FOR ABOUT {$1600.00}, payable to The Estate of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( My Husband ) I applied it back to the Mortgage. After a bit of time passed a BIG RED FLAG went up in my brain. Why was a Wells Fargo Remediation Department sending a check to The Estate of My Husband. Almost simultaneously, I get a 404 Notice from a New Servicer through US Mail on XX/XX/XXXX advising me they had purchased my loan from Wells Fargo XX/XX/XXXX ; a date that was 34 days in the past? This is when a bigger RED FLAG went off. I called WELLS FARGO and ended up in their Executive Complaints Department. This was also a Red Flag. It was at this point I began to feel that my loan was being **offloaded** to a new SUB-STANDARD loan servicer because ISSUES had been identified as a PROBLEM and perhaps Wells Fargo wanted to get it out of their loan portfolio in hopes that any potential troubles would die aka expire. Worth noting, when I went to Wells Fargo to purchase a Cashiers Check to send the new Sub-Standard at best, XXXX XXXX XXXX., I was charged {$10.00}. for the cashiers check. I wonder what other monetary fallout I will have now that I no longer have a Packaged Banking Relationship. A shocking revelation given to me by the New Loan Servicer was that my loan ( same account number as when my husband was the sole owner ) was now a Conventional Loan backed by Private Investors ; no longer XXXX XXXX. How can this happen? It was not a new loan with a new loan number, but the same loan Serviced by Wells Fargo for years and years. In closing, I asked for copies of the LOAN MODIFICATION DOCUMENTS I signed, and one set was sent to me. ( I signed 2 sets, the first as Executrix for My Husband. The 2nd set was me as an individual. ) I only received the me as an individual set of paperwork. 2 pages in particular jumped out at me as they were SCANNED as of XX/XX/XXXX yet they were signed and dated ( by me? ) on 2 completely different dates in XX/XX/XXXX, yet were part of the paperwork. The nature of the documents were stating I was giving them to make changes due to errors and omissions. YES, each of the 2 documents had Signatures dated in XXXX. These documents were of a legal nature and I have no memory of making any additional/multiple trips to the bank to sign additional paperwork. Highly concerned and stressed out as I review and re-review this paperwork that I feel instinctively is not correct on several levels, to include ethics and compliance.
