Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I went into my local wells Fargo bank and tried cashing a check, the check was in the amount of XXXX $ the bank teller told me I had inefficient funds and would not be able to cash the check I showed her a law that she was required to provide me funds having a account with them and asked to speak to the manager I showed the manager the law which was effective XX/XX/XXXX that under 18 usc .8 they are obligated to do. The bank manager had a different interpretation of the law in which I then left the bank and went to the state police and asked if he could interpret the law, the officer interpretted the law and said that it's a federal matter but that the bank under that code is obligated to provide me with the funds so im taking this matter up with you as we all need to come to the understanding of the law and follow them accordingly., we need to hold financial institutions accountable, https : //uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml? req=granuleid : USC-prelim-title18-section8 & num=0 & edition=prelim

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, I had a checking account with Wells Fargo in XXXX, Texas for about 10 years. I was trying to make some changes in XXXX due to my mom passing. I took my mom off of being the beneficiary and added my XXXX brothers. My nephew/son was added when I opened the account. I did not know he had had a credit card with Well Fargo. I went to take out XXXX dollars on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. I notice that over XXXX had been taken out. I told the cashier and she could not explain and I called the number on the paper she gave me. I was so scared that I thought I had been scrammed so I did not want to give any information over the phone. I was able to talk to the branch manager who was very customer friendly, helpful, and professional. He called I guess the main office and found out that my nephew/son had owed them. My son said made arrangements to make payments which he was trying to do on the card. I was not notified at any time and he said he wasn't notified either even though he was trying to make payments. I was going to take him off in XXXX but I was told I could not without his approval. It does not seem right to me to for the Well Fargo to do this without any kind of notification to me. When I opened the account, nothing was mentioned that this could be done. I would have been willing to help make payments if I had been notified but, I was not told what was happening. In hard times like these, it is devasting and to me it seems that Well Fargo don't care. Thank you so very much for allowing me to submit this complaint/concerned. If this is a rule, maybe it could be amended to notify all involved before doing such drastic and devastating things like this. Sincerely yours,

Consumer Complaint: The existence of a derogatory rating on my account is causing me significant concern. I am deeply worried about its potential impact on my credit. It has already resulted in the denial of a recent loan application and an increase in the interest rates on my existing credit accounts. I want to emphasize the severe financial and emotional distress that this negative rating has caused me and will continue to cause until it is resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I hereby dispute the accuracy of the account information on my Wells Fargo Auto Finance closed account as of XX/XX/2023. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX at approximately XXXX i called into Wells Fargo to make a payment. I tried to make a payment on their website but they limit the amount you can pay on the website to under {$5000.00}. On my call i was told they will not accept a payment higher than that amount unless the loan is paid in full. That cant be legal or in compliance with my loan terms to not allow early principal repayment in the arbitrary amount of over {$5000.00} but less than the full payoff amount. They are calling it their policy but are breaking their loan terms effectively charging prepayment penalties because if i have to pay it off more slowly in smaller chunks i will get charged more interest in doing so.
