I did not apply for credit with Wells Fargo or otherwise authorize the enquiry. I have written to Wells Fargo multiple times. They have acknowledged that the enquiry was not authorized and told me that they have contacted XXXX to have the enquiry removed, but the enquiry is still being reported by XXXX on my credit report as of XX/XX/XXXX. The unauthorized enquiry has caused and is causing me harm by lowering my credit score and increasing my costs for credit.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with Wells Fargo in XX/XX/XXXX. The reason I opened the account was because they promised a {$300.00} promotional bonus for opening an account, and depositing {$1000.00} within 90 days. I have not received the bonus and called the wells fargo customer service on XX/XX/XXXX. The agent I spoke to kept asking me for details about the promotional bonus, and claimed not to be able to locate the offer on her end. Additionally, they claimed that the customer is responsible for proving that they had a promotional bonus on offer at account opening. They refused to provide any further details related to my account or the promotional bonus. I consider this to be FALSE ADVERTISING since the primary motivation for opening the account was a promotional bonus. I won't share my banking details in this form, but you or Wells Fargo can contact me directly with the information I provided.

Consumer Complaint: I requested my personal checking statements from the company. I can not access them on the company 's online portal and they were never delivered to me any other way. I called the company 's helpline and they told me I needed to go into a branch to get them. Today I went in to a branch and was again told that they would not give me my statements. I also learned that they had been delivering my personal checking monthly statements to my mother and my brother without my permission for years. The company told me that they would not give me my statements but that I could request from them from my family members who had access to them even though I had not given them permission to have them.

Consumer Complaint: On Monday XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX I received a text message asking if I had authorized a {$2000.00} XXXX transaction. Immediately after I received a call from a number that I personally verified to be the official Wells Fargo customer service phone number. The person on the line notified me they were calling from Wells Fargo Fraud Protection and proceeded to walk me through steps to chargeback my money in XXXX. They were extremely professional and knew sensitive details about me that I didnt think anyone besides the bank would be able to access. I followed their instructions and entered a transaction of {$1000.00} on XXXX to a recipient they claimed to be my caseworker. They said I had completed the first step of my payment cancellation plan. I called Wells Fargo customer service shortly after speaking with this individual to confirm some details where I was informed that I had been scammed by someone impersonating Wells Fargo. The actual Wells Fargo launched an investigation but denied my claim for my money back due to me authorizing the XXXX transaction.
