Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage
Subissue: Foreclosure
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I was an XXXX of Wells Fargo but was let go, I was currently working with the XXXX modification program but since I was let go they denied that application. I tried to apply through the normal channels for a loan modification but with recently being unemployed I would not qualify. I went to another company called Keep your home California and was approved, they were going to pay my arrears and my loan payment for one year. There were documents that they needed from Wells Fargo and both myself and the company requested it several times. Had Wells Fargo handled the request in a timely manner that loan would have closed and I would still have my home today. Because of their procrastination Wells Fargo trustee sold my home in XX/XX/XXXX, they advised me to go to the court house to see if I could stop it, but ultimately I watched my house be auctioned off. Their lack of willingness to simply send over the documents that were required by the company that was going to help me caused my home to go into foreclosure.

Consumer Complaint: Hello CFPB my bank account has been going from the positive to the negative. One moment is in the positive the next moment its in the negative yesterday. On XX/XX/XXXX I had a balance of zero I called the bank yesterday. They said that everything looks like its been updated and that you have a positive balance of {$2800.00} and that you are in the positive, I told her on the phone that I dont trust the bank anymore. Everything had already mostly cleared. I had a positive balance of XXXX dollars the lady informed me that this would not go back into the negative. This is the most horrible experience I have ever had. I have been with the bank since XXXX now I can never trust Wells Fargo again right now my account is overdrawn by {$3000.00} because I thought that money had finally come back to me after since the beginning of the month of XXXX this balance has been going from negative to positive over and over and over and over and over again. I have made a lot of transactions but I never put the account in the negative and I also made sure to replenish any funds so my account is done and unless Wells Fargo fixes this which I feel as discrimination at this point because I had a positive balance of over {$3000.00} for three years I dont think Wells Fargo is going to help me in the situation and I think its horrid and scary that these banks can just flip-flop the accounts charge multiple overdraft fees when Ive had a positive account with them for over three years and its been mainly positive since XXXX now I have to switch to another bank and get my money back I actually have an account to use it does not make sense. Nothing adds up to me at least can you go for a positive {$3000.00} suddenly {$3000.00} negative in one day when there wasnt even any pending withdrawals that would add up to that balance. This has been happening for weeks. If anybody can help me that would be great if not if Wells Fargo can not help me in the situation, then I shouldve never banked with them to begin with.

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo has cause me a minimum of {$4000.00} worth of damages. Firstly without representation they changed my checking account from free to XXXX XXXX monthly and had been charging me for the last 3+years. Plus Ive have on XXXX separate occasions where they let someone clear out my checking account in person at one of there banks and while it was taking 10 days ( each time ) to refund they still charged my debit card for being over drawn and my credit card for not have the money to pay and for being late. When I tried to borrow money to pay the credit so I wouldnt be charged a late free, the only interest they would give me on such short notice was XXXX XXXX effective as soon as check would be cashed. They have severely hindered my life and cause me economic hardship due to all this

Issue: Problem with a lender or other company charging your account
Subissue: Transaction was not authorized
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my checking account was debited {$260.00} by XXXX XXXX. I called Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to a customer service rep named XXXX and explained that this debit was not authorized because I didnt have a signed lease with XXXX XXXX and I didnt have the furniture in my possession and the store had canceled my order on XX/XX/XXXX per XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX used information from an old account I had in XXXX to debit my account for this {$260.00}. XXXX said he would escalate to fraud department and I would hear something back in XXXX days. I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX where Wells Fargo claimed they researched my inquiry and denied my claim because the charge was an authorized electronic payment. I dont know what research Wells Fargo did but I didnt authorize payment for furniture that I dont have when the furniture was picked out in XX/XX/XXXX. Why when the order was canceled did XXXX XXXX debit my account. Wells Fargo is wrong to do their customer this way. Wells Fargo should have charged this amount back to my checking account. I have tried several times to get XXXX XXXX to offer a refund but they said I have to go pick up the furniture.

Consumer Complaint: I tried paying off the principal of the loan early, but when I went online the there was a max allowable amount of {$4900.00} daily. I called customer service to pay and they also told me they were maxed at the same amount. The loan contract I have clearly states you may prepay all or part of the unpaid part of the Amount Financed at any time without penalty l. This is a breach of contract on the loan terms I signed.

Consumer Complaint: I was hanging out with my girlfriend and I check my account and there where 2 checks XXXX and XXXX and I had no clue what they where. The XXXX one got approved by the bank and the money was put into my account However the XXXX one didn't cause I called in and reported them. Then they did there thing and said it came up false and then the other one said I was fine and there was no charges to me and they resolved it. Then I had an old friend phone number after say they hacked my bank and the name was XXXX. I was super confused cause it was specific. I went to the branch and they said the same thing it was my fault or something cause of the 2 {$1000.00} XXXX payments and that happened when THEY allowed a XXXX check that was fake go into my account. It was no longer pending and was a really check according to whoever looked at it. Then I seen it and it wasn't even my signature. So they let a check that wasn't my signature in and they still said they couldn't do anything and I had to pay for it all. This was weird because someone hacked into my account and put fraudulent checks that I called in about and sent money off after 1 check got approved. Then I called in and reported all this and then they did nothing about there mess up.
