Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells Fargo reported that I have opened a new account with them. The report was made to XXXX and others credit bureaus. I DID NEVER requested for services from Wells Fargo neither personally, online, by phone or by any other means, nor shared any information such as my SSN, birthdate, email, etc. As of today, it appears as I have a debt balance of {$140.00}. I reached an agent by phone on XX/XX/XXXX, and I was told that I do not have an application or account listed on my name, but I am attaching a picture of the existing account reported in the credit bureaus. I do not find an explanation on why the phone rep could not provide accurate information.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, at approximately XXXXXXXX XXXX I deposited {$5100.00} at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, FL XXXX at the Wells Fargo atm. The atm had to take the sum in increments, the first increment went by smoothly, but then the machine started spitting back money at me, which I continued to re-insert into the machine, it then said it couldn't deposit into my savings account so I clicked checking account. The machine kept taking photographs of my money as if it were a check. By the time the machine had taken all of my money, I should have received 4 receipts via email. I received only 2 receipts and my online banking reflected only {$2900.00} in my savings and {$600.00} in my checking. I promptly called my bank. The lady told me she could see a total of {$1200.00} in my checking and {$2900.00} in my savings. She assured me that I would get my {$1000.00} back after an investigation, and she gave me case number XXXX. They then gave me a provisionary credit to my savings account and have now reversed that credit with a letter stating that the investigation concluded that my deposit of {$2900.00} is accurate, this is impossible. I put {$5100.00} into that machine, it recorded {$600.00} two times in my checking for a total of {$1200.00}, and {$2900.00} in my savings account there is {$1000.00} not recorded. I don't know what else to do at this point, but I am sure that no investigation has taken place because the atm would have been {$1000.00} over. The only proof I potentially have is the atm cameras. I am now I'm out XXXX XXXX dollars with no remedy. The letter states I need to keep all receipts until the correct amount is deposited into my account, but I did not receive XXXX of the XXXX transactions via email. Please help. The response I got was that there was no sign of fraud because after I called the card in stolen no one tried to use it. I also have a checking account, savings account, and credit card - all with Wells Fargo. On XX/XX/23, I applied for the Wells Fargo XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Application Reference # XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells Fargo informed me that they needed me to fax them a copy of my ID and two proofs of address to them. The Wells Fargo phone representative confirmed that my other bank credit card statements were acceptable proof of address. On the same day, I sent Wells Fargo a copy of my driver 's license and credit card statements from two banks. On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells Fargo informed me that they actually needed non-credit card bank statements. Wells Fargo would not accept my credit card statements as proof of address, contrary to what was told to me on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I faxed Wells Fargo my driver 's license and two sets of my bank statements- one from XXXX XXXX XXXX and one from XXXX XXXX. On XXXX, Wells Fargo informed me that they had accepted my ID and XXXX XXXX XXXX statements. The Wells Fargo representative claimed that the XXXX XXXX statement was unreadable and requested another bank statement. On XXXX, I faxed Wells Fargo my bank statements from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells Fargo informed me that even though they had successfully reviewed my XXXX XXXX bank statement, they could not approve my application. The Wells Fargo representative suggested that I send over a utility bill. Wells Fargo requested two sets of my bank statements as proof of address in order to approve my credit card application. Wells Fargo successfully received and reviewed my bank statements. Since I met all of Wells Fargo 's requirements including my 800+ credit score, I believe Wells Fargo is discriminating against me by refusing to approve my credit card application.

Consumer Complaint: So basically I transferred money from my account to XXXX XXXX. The amount on XXXX XXXX has a daily limit, I reached my limit and I transferred the remaining balance back to Wells Fargo which was {$1500.00}. Wells Fargo stated that they put the money back onto my account however it never reflected back in my bill. I called Wells Fargo and asked for a statement for those specific day and I noticed that I had missing information. They credited me back the {$1500.00} and then I looked at my account weeks later and I was in the negative for {$1500.00}. They eventually closed my account checking account and left my savings account open. This has affected my credit. This is not Wells Fargo first time taking money from me.
