Consumer Complaint: I applied for a home loan through my bank, Wells Fargo. I was pre-approved. I submitted a contract and moved forward with the process. During the process I was never asked about previous real estate purchases. I had in XXXX bought a building through a tax sale. I paid cash for the building after the auction & there wasn't any loan, mortgage or such. I didn't bring it up during the loan process because it had sold twice since I let it go ( after I bought it, I paid to have the electrical panel replaced and then was told that I had to fix the back wall before I conducted any business there. The building was over 30 foot tall and someone prior took out a window from the brick building and bricked it up and now the back top wall appeared to be leaning. Noone condemned the building until I bought it..then they condemned it giving me a set time to fix the wall. Estimates from those who would even consider the job stated at least XXXX to start then who knew after it was started. I could not afford that without starting the business so I let the building go back into the tax sale. Underwriting at Wells Fargo for my new loan kept sending me task requests to explain *my foreclosure, short sale ..I wrote several letters to explain this was a tax sale, no mortgages or loans. Then after weeks of letters I was denied my loan stating that Wells Fargo has a 7 year rule for foreclosures and such and my transfer of title was XXXX years ago. I bank with Wells Fargo, my social security goes directly to my bank account there. My rental checks are cashed through Wells Fargo. I planned on having my payments auto deducted from Wells Fargo. My house payments would have been $ XXXX LESS than my rent payments. ( I sent upon request my landlords manager name and number. He states that Wells Fargo never called to verify or ask anything ). So after denial XXXX XXXX my loan officer asks do I want to try for an FHA loan @ a " bit higher '' closing costs. A bit higher was XXXX compared to the XXXX that I was paying in closing costs & 1.5 % on a XXXX house. I had previously explained to XXXX that the house would NOT qualify for an FHA loan and that the sellers were unwilling to bring it to code. I had already paid XXXX for an appraisal. To be told that I'm denied because I'm considered *high risk*. I am writing this rebuttal to overturn my underwriters *decision. XXXX XXXX XXXX. Ps I have MANY documents that I have sent over to Wells Fargo. Please ask if you need any for this investigation. My contract states that my loan should be closed by XXXX XXXX XXXX

This has been going on for 6 months now and 3 different officers from the executive branch have been delaying the outcome. Wells Fargo is trying to cover its tracks for inside fraud or negligence. They have such a flagrant disregard for customers financial protection and using the delay tactic to force the customer to give in and drop the issue. DO NOT ALLOW AN EXTENSION!

Consumer Complaint: I received an email from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX of XXXX through XXXX regarding an upcoming reservation. I don't trust emails so I went to the XXXX app to see if there was a message from the hotel and there was. The message was right under earlier correspondence I had with the hotel so I was not suspicious at all. There was a link that I clicked on to update my card and it went to a sit that looked just like XXXX and had the logo and everything. I entered my card info and it pinwheeled and then an SMS message was texted to me. I entered the number and then the XXXX site pinwheeled again and was taking a long time and asked for the SMS number again so another text was sent to me and I entered that number and at that point as it continued to pinwheel I was afraid it was taking the reservation money out twice so I logged into my bank and that is when I noticed the debit from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had XXXX withdrawals for {$1000.00} each. I immediately exited the XXXX app and called Wells Fargo to report this and spoke to a lady named XXXX who took my report and provided us with provisional debits to cover the amount. I then called XXXX and reported the incident to XXXX. On Friday I received a letter from Wells Fargo saying that they are removing the provisional debits because they found that I approved the transactions. I did not approve any transaction to a foreign entity. I was approving a transaction to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX of XXXX for the amount of {$650.00}. I do not make purchases to unknown foreign companies so I am very upset that Wells Fargo did not consider this fraud and flag the transaction before letting it go through. I am also not satisfied with their investigation and findings and have filed a complaint with them as well.

I have made several attempts to obtain proper information from this company however each time I was not successful in obtaining the information. Instead I received a letter requesting information from me which I am not willing to provide considering that I am disputing the validity of this account. Furthermore, the company is reporting this account yet can not locate my alleged account in their system. This further justifies my statement that this account reporting is not valid. The information I provided in previous letters to the company, along with the account number above ( which I obtained directly from the credit reporting 's ) was sufficient enough to find an account for me if a valid account for me did in fact exist. This company has failed to send me any information that I requested and yet continues to report this account.

Consumer Complaint: On Thursday XX/XX/XXXX, someone got a hold of my debit card number and pin number. They wrote my debit card to a XXXX XXXX device and went into a Wells Fargo Branch. They used the tap function of the debit reader at the teller, and input my pin number. They then withdrew XXXX dollars, and purchased a bank check for XXXX dollars. After XXXX business days, Wells Fargo credited by my XXXX dollar fraud claim, but denied the XXXX dollar fraudulent check claim. Someone who was not me got my money from the company that is supposed to keep it secure, and at no point was their identity properly verified or the transaction seen as strange.

XXXX Called XXXX XXXX, they deal with points only, ( I did receive points for stay, I can accumulate points, redeem for services etc ) they do not deal with moneys, I need to call Wells Fargo. So I did they opened a new ( 3rd )
