Consumer Complaint: I live in XXXX and XXXX. The furthest XXXX I have ever been is XXXX. Which still isn't close to XXXX. It says the transactions were made at a XXXX ATM. There is no way this could have been authorized by me. I have my card on me 24/7 but I was told that a card was present. I recieved a false phone call with someone claiming to be Wells Fargo. I feel this is true because as soon as I got off that phone call, I recieved 400+ spam emails. Somebody must have gotten my information, made a fake card. Then used it to remove money from an ATM. I have anything and everything to prove that this was fraudulent. Case number : XXXX {$690.00} was taken from ATM

Consumer Complaint: I would like to make a complaint against Wellsfargo Home Mortgage on loan we received in XXXX. The loan we were offered was a actually 2 conventional loans and we wondering why we were not offered any assistance for down payment as a first time home owner at that time to help with a down payment. No one told us about the incentives that the bank offered to XXXX time home owners. We asked the lender if they could help with our down payment, but they said no money was available for this and instead they just put that we had {$0.00} down payment. The loan was originally. The house we were purchasing was originally sold to house by the seller for XXXX but Wellsfargo lenders and underwriters charged us XXXX for the loan. Our loan was split to two mortgages they 1.was XXXX and then they added a2nd mortgage with another lender for almost XXXX with a fixed interest of XXXX percent. We were 1st time home owner and at that time our friend who were not XXXX were getting money to help them with a down payment for their home loans and we are wondering when we asked for help why did they not offer us assistant for a down payment instead of pushing us into a XXXX loan which was were originally purchased the home from the seller for just XXXX. This is unacceptable and not justified. We were manipulated and robbed and forced into a XXXX loan for a XXXX home as that was what the seller originally sold the house for. We were stuck in 2 mortgages and forced to pay back an extra XXXX loan conventional loan with XXXX rate. We want people to be aware and we want wellsfargo to tell us why we were not offered money to help with down payment in XXXX like others were offered

Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage
Subissue: Trying to communicate with the company to fix an issue related to modification, forbe
Consumer Complaint: I purchased my home in XX/XX/XXXX for {$100000.00}, with a loan amount of {$98000.00}. Shortly after closing, I encountered financial hardship and proactively sought a mortgage modification from my servicing company, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). Despite my timely approach, I was erroneously informed that I did not qualify due to my mortgage being current. Advised to skip payments to initiate the modification process, I endured significant hardships. The process of modification proved tortuously protracted, with XXXX taking over a year to commence active review, during which time my loan was erroneously referred to foreclosure, incurring unjustifiable fees. It took XXXX/Wells Fargo almost three years to finalize the modification, during which I incurred exorbitant fees and accrued capitalized interest totaling {$24000.00}, significantly inflating my principal loan balance from {$98000.00} to {$130000.00}. Consequently, my loan balance has exceeded my home 's value since modification, thwarting my ability to refinance or sell my home, perpetuating my financial distress. Despite attempts to capitalize on the housing boom during XXXX, I have been thwarted by the disparity between my outstanding balance and my home 's market value. These egregious errors and delays not only exhibit negligence but also border on criminality, necessitating urgent redress. My predicament underscores the urgent need for accountability and corrective measures to rectify the gross mishandling of my mortgage modification. My application for mortgage modification languished far beyond the duration of my initial financial hardship, which lasted a mere three months. Despite my proactive approach to seeking assistance before my mortgage became delinquent or faced foreclosure, the modification process inflicted undue strain, ultimately compelling my husband and me to file for bankruptcy to stave off foreclosure. It's crucial to underscore that all foreclosure fees incurred were a direct consequence of XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) failure to promptly process my application, and the excessive capitalized interest accrued was likewise a result of XXXXXXXX XXXX delays. These errors not only precipitated financial turmoil but also had cascading effects on my credit score, necessitating bankruptcy filing and leading to increased rates on credit cards and auto loans. The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of XXXX, which birthed the Troubled Asset Relief Program ( TARP ) and subsequently the Home Affordable Modification Program ( HAMP ), aimed to provide financial support to banks and incentivize successful homeowner assistance programs during the economic downturn. XXXX XXXX egregious mishandling of my case stands in stark contrast to the intent of such programs, underscoring the urgent need for accountability and redress.

Issue: Trouble during payment process
Subissue: Escrow, taxes, or insurance
Consumer Complaint: My taxes and insurance are paid by escrow through my mortgage company, Wells Fargo. On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells Fargo sent payment to the wrong company and my insurance was never paid. I was notified by receipt of Notice of Cancellation from the insurance company for nonpayment. Upon researching I learned that WF sent the check to the agency, rather than the insurance company, despite the account being set up as " direct bill '' rather than " agency bill ''. The agency sent Wells Fargo a refund on XX/XX/XXXX ; however, my homeowner insurance was scheduled to be cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX. Adding to the complication, Wells sold the mortgage to XXXX XXXX, effective XX/XX/XXXX. In attempt to avoid cancellation of my insurance, on XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo informed me that they would send an overnight payment to the insurance company. Because I trust but always verify, I called the insurance company on XX/XX/XXXX to see if the payment was made. It was not!! I followed up with Wells and was told that Wells declined to send the payment because my mortgage was scheduled to transfer to XXXX XXXX. That transfer has no bearing on the fact that Wells never paid my insurance company, yet collected money in escrow. My insurance policy will be cancelled and Wells suggested that I pay the insurance company directly to avoid cancellation. That is not an option. I don't have an extra {$3500.00} to accommodate for Wells Fargo 's mistake. Wells never even called to inform me that they were not making the payment. Rather than take accountability, Wells wants to pass this issue off to the new mortgage servicer, even though the agency refunded amount is coming back to them at Wells Fargo. In jeopardy of cancellation, if anything were to happen to my home I'm in danger of losing everything if uninsured.
