Consumer Complaint: I rented a car using my USAA credit card, which provides car rental insurance. On XX/XX/XXXX I had an accident and the rental company charged me {$640.00} for the damage. I filed a claim for the damage on XX/XX/XXXX. I have submitted the full rental contract, picture proof of the damage, and proof I was charged the damage amount on that USAA credit card to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which USAA uses to process these claims. Throughout the process, they have delayed and asked for the same documents again. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I still have not been paid. I emailed XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, to let them know I would soon be filing a complaint with CFPB. They responded 2 days later ( everything else was taking much longer for a response ) to ask me to call them 'to ensure accuracy ' and I replied that I wanted to keep everything in writing ( I recently had a bad experience with a phone representative from XXXX that did not follow through with everything said on the phone ) and they let me know that my 'claim has been noted with the information provided ' but still have not paid out the claim.

Consumer Complaint: I initiated communication with USAA Federal Savings Bank by sending a letter requesting them to opt me out of reporting for account number XXXX. Regrettably, not only did they neglect to fulfill my request, but their response was unrelated to my original letter, which explicitly asked for opting out of reporting. I have attached the original opt-out letter, two documents providing opt-out laws and their definitions, and a copy of the account details and reporting from all three reporting agencies, USAA credit card agreement to show they have arbitration in their agreement as well as their arbitration instructions document. The documents reveal several inaccuracies present in the reports, and all relevant dates and information pertaining to this complaint have been provided for your review.

Consumer Complaint: Around XXXX XXXX, USAA informed me that a person named XXXX from XXXX, Texas compromised my checking account. Then on or near XXXX XXXX, I received a call from USAA ( shown on caller-ID ). I followed the instructions of what I believed was USAA representative. From XXXX XXXX, this individual was conversing via phone and having me do what I believed as notational transactions in XXXX wallet. I had never used XXXX wallet and was not aware that actual financial transactions were viable. USAA FRAUD DIVISION conducted an investigation and to my knowledge, no loss on either side. Unfortunately on XXXX XXXX, my USAA account was suspended. I called and was informed that in 60 days, my checking and credit cards with USAA will be canceled. On or about XXXX XXXX, I called USAA to report what I believed to be a fraudulent act. I requested immediate, change to my debit and credit cards. I feel that I acted as a reasonable prudent person as this issue. I have no recourse and all my 2 payroll checks are being direct deposited in the USAA ACCOUNT. I have no access to my cash nor will any of my bills be drafted from the USAA checking accounts. This can cause grave harm to my financial standing and lost of my superior credit rating

Consumer Complaint: My bank account was closed XX/XX/24 around XXXX without any notice given to the consumer. I called in after receiving a voicemail that their was a " security concern. '' I was then told by a representative that my account has been closed and within 60 days I would receive any funds that were in their by check in the mail. I spoke with a supervisor during that same phone call, that I placed at XXXX and was on the phone for 40mins and 55seconds, and she submitted a dispute for the account closure and said I would have to wait 3 business days to receive an update. Neither representative for USAA would tell me why my account is closed and there is over $ XXXX dollars now tied up and I have been banking them for years!!!!

Consumer Complaint: The credit cards with USAA, XXXX, and XXXX have extremely high interest rates, variable, and after 6 years of paying them on time, I still have the same balance. I have paid off the principle 3 times on each card, but the payments are so high I then use them to live so the balance never goes down. This year I called all 3 companies in an attempt to negotiate the principle so I could pay them off. They will not negotiate. Again, I have paid off the principle amount 3 times. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: A USAA 0 % promotion was offered and received on XX/XX/XXXX, with a 3 % balance transfer fee. Recurring bills did not stop as expected first month and higher interest occurred on those balances. Payments and credits were made above purchase and minimum payment requirements each month. The next month 0 % promotional balance dropped over XXXX and higher interest balance increased over XXXX. Minimum payment due was XXXX on USAA App and two places on page 1 at top of statement. When I asked where and how my payments were applied, Agent told me it is not documented but any where USAA wants it to go. I said well how will the higher interest balance ever be paid down. Also the USAA Agent revealed on the USAA statement buried at the bottom on page 4, next to last paragraph, there is a statement which reveals a higher minimum payment due than on the three places mentioned above.This is very important payment information that contradicts 3 other documents, can cause fees and should not be buried behind less important info.
