Consumer Complaint: Hello, This week, i have been challenged by USAA to provide my income level, and my total net worth, and asked if I am a member of a foreign army or government. They veil this as " US Patriot Act '' and its the law. The US PATRIOT act doesn't call out anything about personal income, nor Net worth. Especially due to the fact that I've been banking with them for four decades, how would I be under this " alleged '' scrutiny anyway being a natural born citizen. They threaten that if in the 3 logins allowed, now they have provided this web pop up stating that I will lose all my online access to my accounts unless I comply. It's a 100 % online banking entity. This is essentially stealing my money by disallowing me access, to the money I rightfully earned and own. Please help. They have a recent and even extended history of bullying and forcing their patrons into positions of financial disadvantage, and even illegal activity. Please help!

I received " notices '' from USAA dated XX/XX/20 and XX/XX/20 indicating that changes have been made to these accounts. I called USAA and spoke with USAA customer service to explain to me exactly what " update account information '' was provided and updated. USAA was unable to give me an answer. I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX and discussed these letters and he indicated that the information I have been working with him to get updated was not the information to which these letters refer.

Consumer Complaint: I was impacted severely by the current pandemic, suffering severe medical issues and unable to make payments until now. I called in, requesting a payment plan to make the loan current and catch it up and even pay it off. I requested this under the CARES ACT which should have spared my credit report from being negatively impacted as well. USAA refused to allow me to bring the loan current and correct the negative reporting on my credit reports, refused to make any accommodations and requested I go online to file a credit dispute. However, my USAA online account was restricted by USAA previously and I've been unable to log on to make payents, see my account number, amount due or really do anything with the loan. I've always been required to call in to make payments during their business hours, which due to my health issues I've been unable to do. Now they are telling me, there's nothing they can do the loan is charged off and there's nothing I can do to protect my credit and make it current in accordance with the CARES ACT.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a personal loan on the internet. I received a email and call from the company approved the loan. While on the phone with the company they already had my SSN, DOB and bank information. The company tells me not to check my bank account till they finish depositing the money into mu account. Then tell me to purchase something with my debit card. Next this i know all my money from my savings was taken using XXXX. I notified my bank of everything and they froze my account but they are claiming no fraudulent activity was done and i have to pay back my money that was stolen. They are saying that wrote bad checks and i need to pay them back so now my unemployment checks are being taken each week im not able to pay for anything including daycare for my daughter. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I used my Checking account debit card to purchase airline tickets through XXXX. The flight was scheduled for XX/XX/2020 ; flying from XXXX XXXX, XXXX to XXXX XXXX, Texas. As a result of the Corona Virus pandemic the scheduled airline ( XXXX ) announced that they were no longer flying Internationally in late XX/XX/2020. We immediately notified USAA of the circumstances and asked that USAA charge back XXXX for the {$650.00} USD that was charged to the debit card. USAA responded that we had not disputed the charge within 30 days of the transaction and had closed the dispute as a result. We contacted USAA on XX/XX/2020 and explained that the charge was for airline tickets and that it seemed appropriate to extend the time limit as tickets are often purchased in advance of travel. A USAA supervisor agreed and said that the dispute would be " re-opened '' and we would hear from USAA within 10 days. On XX/XX/2020 we called USAA again and asked for a status of the dispute. USAA said that nothing had been done on the dispute but the " dispute resolution team '' would contact us within 2 business days. On XX/XX/2020 we again contacted USAA as we had not been contacted and were told that this dispute had been closed on XX/XX/2020. We were told that " nothing could be done '' because it had been more that 120 days from the transaction. We explained that we had had every intention of using the tickets until the airline cancelled the flight in XX/XX/2020 when we first contacted USAA in this regard and had contacted USAA immediately once the cancellation was announced. We also contacted XXXX and asked for a refund. They stated that we had to wait until 14 days before the flight to verify that the flight was cancelled. We contacted XXXX 14 days before the scheduled flight and requested a refund per US Department of Transportation regulations for flights originating or terminating in the US. Their response was " we are not offering refunds for cancelled flights ''.

Consumer Complaint: In the last couple of months, I have attempted to submit a goodwill request to USAA to remove a couple of late payments that had shown up on my report while I was conducting a mission for the military and I was not at my duty location. I had spoken to at least 7 different customer representatives. After requesting to speak to someone from the office of the CEO, they stated that there bank policy did not support goodwill requests and that they would no longer be able to help me further.
