Consumer Complaint: I have a secured credit card with Elan Financial Services. It is a XXXX card set up through my bank, BancFirst of XXXX Oklahoma. The prepaid amount is {$5000.00}. Every time I would make a payment they would draft it directly from my bank account, so they had the money instantly but they would hold it for 8 days and not apply it and charge me interest those 8 days for a balance I really no longer had. I would try to call customer service and they would bounce me around, put me on hold 10-12 times and then eventually hang up on me, so I cancelled the card and paid off my balance on XXXX/XXXX/2022. They are refusing to give my {$5000.00} dollars back. They say it is under review and they wont be done even reviewing it until mid May but yet the card is already cancelled. They are simply holding my money for no reason, the same way they did when I would make payments.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from U.S Bank relaying they are closing all my accounts with them with no apparent reason of to why they have come to this decision. My parents opened a minor account with me at XXXX XXXX XXXX and have been banking with U.S bank since then. Over 28 years of service with them. I have never given them an ounce of issue with my accounts. I have had direct deposit for over 7 years with them, a car loan, and a lime of credit which all have been paid and paid off on a timely manor. Never defaulted on any of their loans. Yet their industry can not give me a valid reason on to why they decided to close my accounts with them. I would like to know what the reason is to help resolve any issues they may have or ease any scarce thoughts they may have. Thank You

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX U.S. Bank failed to honor its letter acknowledging a stop payment on a check, via bill-pay, dated XX/XX/XXXX. They honored the check for {$2100.00} anyway on XX/XX/XXXX. Background : I retired at the end of last year and, as a result, filed to modify the spousal support orders issued in XXXX. The court date was set for XX/XX/XXXX, so I held back payment for XXXX until we learned of the amount change. However, at one point my ex-wifes attorney ask for a postponement due to his scheduled XXXX, so in good faith I sent the check to cover XXXX. Shortly after the attorneys XXXX was canceled and we were back on for XXXX, so I notified the US Bank requesting a stop payment. I received a written acknowledgement of the stop payment action on XXXX. My ex-wife presented the check knowing full well that the payment was invalidated by court order since we executed a buyout for $ XXXX and no more support was due effective XXXX. This is stipulated in the orders! She was wrong, but the bank honored the check and deducted the amount from my checking account resulting in an overdraft situation. After 2 calls they have been of no help... telling me I have to take it up with her!! I have been with this bank for many years, but I feel I can no longer trust them!! If the funds are not returned to me either voluntarily from her or by bank action, I will take both to small claims court.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I cahsed out a check {$3100.00} my friend gave to me one month ago at US bank XXXX XXXX and the check was bounced ( my friend forgot about the check ). I went to the same branch fixed it right away by depositing some cash and a new check XXXX given by the same friend and he was apologetic. I was told to wait meanwhile my account was on hold. The branch was trying to fix it with me to save my account telling me it should be fine by the next week. Weeks later, my account was under closure after I called the customer service. Meanwhile I emailed my account manager from the branch where I opened my account, US bank XXXX XXXX XXXX, in XXXX LA, and informed him about what happened and asked him to help me keep my account. I got no response. So I emailed the manager XXXX XXXX for help and no response. I had a direct deposit to this account for about {$900.00}, and I called the XXXX branch and I was told that if my account is closed and I should get a check fromt he bank after they close my account. It's been more than 2 months I've been waiting, a few weeks ago I called the XXXX branch again and they didn't see the check mailing out, so they asked me to contact my branch manager, XXXX XXXX. So I called XXXX branch and asked for XXXX XXXX 3 times and I was on hold for average 12 min on the phone and no response. So I rang XXXX XXXX XXXX asking for help cause I had not got any responses after I left him a few voice messages and emails. XXXX XXXX XXXX told me on the phone that my case went to fraud department and it was out of his hands, and I was asking which number I could call or any department I should contact about my check. He told me to get back to me and never did, I emailed him one last time in XXXX XXXX for the number he was going to give to me and no response. It's been 2.5 months and quite frustrating when no one respond, no one cares. I determined to close my account when dealing with a bank like this. I am still a credit card holder of this bank and the way they treat this case and their customer is just unreasonable and rude. I don't know why they keep ignoring this when the help is needed. Right now I intend to get my money back, since that's how they treat the customers, I would never have any business with a company like this, it is obsurd. Please help me to get them respond and send me my money remained in that account. 2.5 months, no responses, no explainations whatsoever. I don't know what they are doing, such a shame.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/15, I purchased an XXXX reservation on my US Bank XXXX XXXX card, which I intended to use my Real-Time Rewards to cover. I had a sufficient amount of XXXX Points in my account, but I did not receive a text message. I spoke to a customer service agent who agreed the points should have been applied and sent an appeal. I called back and spoke to the supervisor XXXX, employee # XXXX, who informed me that the redemption was declined because the minimum amount for redeeming lodging is {$500.00}. The supervisor was unable to identify where this minimum requirement is specified online, as it does not appear in the credit card 's Terms and Conditions online. Eventually, I found the terms on the rewards page under " Program Rules ''. However, this page is only accessible when logged into a U.S. Bank account. When this page is accessed from a new browser, it displays " Access Denied. '' This requirement is not published anywhere when applying for the card. If I had known this requirement before applying for the XXXX XXXX, I would never have applied for the card. I am now stuck with a {$400.00} annual fee and a hard pull on my credit reports while US Bank lied about the utility of the XXXX system publicly. U.S. Bank is tricking consumers about the value of their credit card and gaining an unfair advantage in the competitive credit card market at consumers ' expense. This is not only wholly unacceptable, it is illegal under the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. 1125 ( a ).

Consumer Complaint: USBank has been calling our number MULTIPLE times a day starting on XX/XX/XXXX, continuing through today so far. I've reported to FTC several times starting a few weeks ago, as some of the people are leaving messages for someone named " XXXX '' or " XXXX '' I've called three different people, along with the USBank 's main number shown on their web site, to let them know they're reaching the wrong number. Still they persist, and the person I spoke with who answered at the XXXX # for customer service ( XXXX ) insists that they're not calling our number, that " it must be scammers '' ), but the callers who've left messages sound like they're from collections or something like that.. The other reason I think it's collections is that every day the calls come at the same exact times ( just after noon, again around XXXX and then around XXXX XXXX. XXXX ). We've had our number for over a year now, and have never had other calls for the person they're trying to reach. Also, when we DO get telemarketing calls, there's at least a way to remove us from their list ; no option for that with these. US Bank is harassing us, with no reason, especially since we're not even a customer of theirs ( and never will be because of their tactics ). I don't know what they hope to accomplish by their calls as we know the number and will not answer. PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO STOP the calls.
