Consumer Complaint: U.S. Bank is holding a settlement deposit of XXXX for 10-days from my personal account. They won't tell me why but, it has caused extreme hardship. The deposit shows complete but, the funds only show XXXX. I have tried to get them to tell me why and release the funds. They said even though it's shows " complete '' they will continue to hold my money. A Manager said he'd call back and never did. The branch is not open for calls. I have an additional businesses account and have been a customer for a very long time. Why are they keeping me from my money? It says " completed '' but they are withholding it from my balance. I would like this investigated. It is clear this a deceptive practice. Attached is proof it is not pending anymore. Also attached, proof it is complete.

Consumer Complaint: US Bank accepted a {$50000.00} Electronic Fund Transfer without hesitation. Upon attempting to transfer these funds to an external account, I discovered that US Bank arbitrarily places a {$5000.00} per day limit on external transfers. When inquiring with Customer Service, I was advised " there is no way to transfer funds in excess of the limit '', and was advised I could ONLY wire the funds ( in excess of the {$5000.00} daily limit ) for a {$30.00} fee. The customer service representative spoke with identified herself as XXXX. I asked XXXX to ask for an exception, she attempted to transfer me to a supervisor named XXXX. XXXX advised XXXX " was in a meeting '' but would call me back by the end of day. There was no call back. This is an arbitrary limit placed of funds to retain the funds, or to secure additional fees

Consumer Complaint: I just opened up my XXXX Checking account and I just found out I have to wait two days for them to unlock my account and then I was transferred to the fraud department and their recording said they are closed. This is unbelievable. I just cashed my cashiers check at the bank for XXXX. I have made arrangements and have bills to pay. I dont understand why they wait till the end of the day to lock my account up leaving me with no access to my money and no answers. Is this how our banking relatiionship is going to be then I do not want my money at US Bank. I can not be going through this. How the bank just says oh wait a couple days for them to review it and unlock it or not. Are you serious. Either someone needs to call me back and provide me access to my account or I need to have this account closed and take my business to a bank who can be customer focused and more professional with me. So here I am left with all my money tied up the same day they made it avaiable to me. I am hoping this is a mistake and someone will call me back and fix this right away. My account number is XXXX. My social security is XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I went to deposit {$290.00} through a US Bank ATM into my account and right after depositing the money into the machine, the ATM shut off before giving me a receipt. It said this atm is out of service. I contacted my bank right away and filed a claim. They said theyd check the count in the ATM and they got back to me saying the claim was denied and there was no miscount in the ATM. They also refuse to show me camera footage and said theres nothing else I can do.

Consumer Complaint: I sent my deposit slip and money into the building through the drive through. The teller then said Are you paying your rent? I have never been asked this private question before and felt very violated as our conversation was being broadcasted through the loud and echoing drive through. Minutes later the teller come back stating my deposit was short {$10.00} even after I had just counted it. I sent in another {$10.00} and her response was, You dont have to be so rude! I explained that she had made this conversation hostile from the beginning by asking inappropriate questions and that my deposit was all there when I originally sent it in and asked to speak to the manager. She brought XXXX up and he asked if I was accusing his teller of stealing, refused to Cooperate in a civil manner to rectify the situation and gave me the XXXX hour banking XXXX number to file a complaint. He refused to give me the tellers name and acted as if I was bothering him for bringing these issues to his attention.

Consumer Complaint: How does a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX corporation, US Bank, take money from a working class man, who's enrolled in a debt resolution program, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and has US Bank listed as one of the creditors they're working on settlements with? On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, my account ending in XXXX was debited {$960.00}. I immediately called the fraud department, they couldn't find where it went, but took the report. I went to a nearby branch, and they discovered US Bank had taken it. Again, I'm enrolled in a debt resolution program, since XX/XX/XXXX, and they're working with US Bank!! I called one of there XXXX # 's and was assured US Bank doesn't take money from your account without permission. On Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, I talked to XXXX XXXX, Recovery Charge-Off Department for Loans supervisor. We talked 18 minutes about me being enrolled in program with XXXX XXXX XXXX. She said, " If XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted them, they would consider refunding the money. '' To add insult to injury, on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, my account ending in XXXX was debited for {$1100.00}, putting my account at- {$110.00}, and being charged a {$36.00} overdraft fee, after speaking with XXXX XXXX a day earlier. I thought after banking with them for almost 20 years, having a simbiotic relationship and being enrolled in program, relationship would continue. I'm devasted, in dire straits, after having {$2100.00} taken in a matter of days!! I can not pay rent, utilities, car note, insurance, gas, groceries, cell phone, pick-up needed medicine or buy lunch. PLEASE HELP!!

Issue: Trouble during payment process
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: Good Morning, I have contacted you before with concerns regarding my escrow account. I tried my best to get my payments readjusted to the original amount. I sent every amount requested which was over {$500.00}? The last payment sent was in the amount of {$290.00}? with a letter sent by the bank indicating I was paying forward. My local bank verified and sign and dated the letter. The certified letter arrived on XX/XX/XXXX, I was told my deadline was in XXXX. Apparently my letter was separated from the certified check when it arrived to the Mortgage Company. The payment I am told was applied to the wrong account? My request was not honored because of the Bank mistake. I was told the letter was supposed have been sent to another address. This is confusing ... .Why would I mailed a letter indicating I am paying the necessary amount and the check to different addresses? I was told there is now an over payment in my escrow and I am due a refund. I received a call several weeks ago about a and the Bank did not know were to send my refund check. I don't have a po box I received monthly statements and all Correspondents at my property address. I have requested a printout of my mortgage payments.I have asked what was in my account prior to the escrow analysis. I was told I would have to pay {$670.00} for 6 months only and then my payment will increase again. I have not received my overpayment/refund check. I need your help in this matter. Thanks and have a Bless day!
