Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my wife was in a car accident that totaled the car. We had the auto loan with Truist Bank and also had GAP insurance with XXXX. We assumed the car would be paid off in a timely manner but problem arose when the driver that hit my wife, he was underinsured therefore this caused delays in the pay-off process. It took 5 months to fix this problem, we had issues with Truist and also with XXXX, they made the process a nightmare instead of assisting ( we had several calls, emails and text history of our communication with them ), our car insurance company was the only one that helped by paying most of the auto loan debt to Truist, ( even though we were not at fault at the accident ) still there was a balance that XXXX ( GAP insurance ) instead of doing what they are supposed to do, they delayed the process and showed no initiative or professionalism to even try to resolve the problem... Ultimately the auto loan ( Truist ) was paid off in XX/XX/XXXX. However, on mine and my wife 's credit report show on XX/XX/XXXX ( as Delinquent ) and on XX/XX/XXXX ( as Derogatory ) affecting our credit. Would this be updated next month? or please advise us how can we proceed? Thank you.

On my statement the next month I was charged XXXX an interest even though my balance included only a {$2.00} purchase after I paid off the the balance. I contacted them and they put in a request to do an adjustment to my account. I'm concerned that they have done this to many others and that other people may not realize that they are being charged interest that they should not be charged. Consumer Complaint: Truist bank has open several accounts in my name checking and savings, these accounts are fraudulent I did not open any of these accounts, I am now asking Truist to settle this matter by paying for damages, my name and information has been leaked and compromised, this information was leaked on the dark web and my information was used to give you an idea, the IRS has informed here last year XX/XX/2022 a scanner filed a fraudulent tax return in my name and tried to defraud the us government out of thousands of dollars, now I have used a identity theft pin so the IRS can identify me, Truist bank needs to settle this matter and pay me XXXX dollars for damages this has done to mg credit and the use of my information that has been used fraudulently, if not resolved I can and turn this over to an attorney, either call and resolve or I will carry this and demand arbitration, ( I Will NOT SEND MY INFORMATION, social security number or drivers license won to happen in a victim of identity theft, resolve this matter before I take legal action, its Truist responsibility to understand that this is something serious to me because what it has done to me.

How did the amount increase that I owed? Again I am asking according to the freedom of information act related to your servicing of my mortgage loan. Truist/ SunTrust Mortgage INC. is asserting I was in Default in XXXX and was involved in loss mitigation. I will need a copy of any and all documents concerning this. I need a reproduction of paperwork that was sent to XXXX XXXX my former bankruptcy attorney or myself a complete list of everything that was sent concerning my bankruptcy. I dispute that I was ever in default and that I was on XXXX relief. I also am asking for you to please provide the following information the monthly principal and interest payment, and monthly escrow payment for each month since and including XXXX of XXXX. The total unpaid principal, interest in escrow balances up until today. List all fees, cost, charges, and expenses that have been added to my account since the origination of the loan. Consumer Complaint: I made payments to Truist bank on my truck monthly without incident. Then, there was an unfortunate accident in XX/XX/XXXX that totaled my truck. My insurance company XXXX promptly processed my claim and paid off the loan XX/XX/XXXX. I continued getting billed by Truist bank in XXXX and XXXX so I called and was told the payment wasn't received. The insurance company sent an invoice in response showing the payment cleared. Truist requested a photo of the endorsed check. XXXX provided a photo of the check matching the invoice endorsed and date stamped by Truist Bank XX/XX/XXXX. Truist assured me they would look into getting it fixed. In XXXX my husband was diagnosed with XXXX XXXX XXXX. He needed XXXX to be followed by XXXX My other vehicle is older and has had some mechanical problems that were also expensive on top of medical bills. I hoped the issue would be resolved so I could try to purchase a new vehicle. The XXXX XXXX who was qualified to do the XXXX was a XXXX XXXX drive from our home. It would be better to have a new, more reliable vehicle. My van broke down twice during this time. I continued being billed by Truist in XXXX and XXXX. They sent my account to collections and reported on my credit. I tried again to call and email Truist bank about the problem. They assured me it would be taken care of and give them another month. XXXX and then XXXX I was billed. My credit score was taking a nose dive. In XXXX, I reported to the credit agencies about the problem. The manager of the collections department at Truist Bank " reached out '' to let me know they " found '' the check. He confessed they put it into the wrong account of someone with my same first and last name. He promised that they would be getting the money into the correct account and it would be back dated to XX/XX/XXXX as paid. After that, I tried reporting to the credit agencies again but it is now XXXX and the problem is still not resolved. I do not understand how this isn't fixed yet. XXXX requested the payoff amount from Truist bank in late XX/XX/XXXX and paid that amount in full XX/XX/XXXX. Truist acknowledged their mistake since XX/XX/XXXX but it is now XX/XX/XXXX and I am still getting bills and late notices. My credit score has been ruined. I can not get a new vehicle to take my husband to his XXXX Everyday when we make the drive I pray we will not break down again. Please do something to stop this and prevent it from ever happening again to anyone!

This is not a final statement but a request for information and to clarify part of the statement provided as feedback to my questions. You said, a paper dated for XX/XX/2017 was included with your reply. I can not locate paper with in your response. Please clarify for me a paper you included dated on XXXX XXXX. A statement for loss mitigation. Does it in fact say they approved a " Incomplete " application from me. I never received this paper in the mail from either Truist or XXXX XXXX. I'd like to see where I signed for this information. I have had several COVID relief and I can prove them by my payments. Everytime I call to make a payment they offer it. This also brings me back to the question of, are you singling out people by their financial difficulties, are you using the covid as a way to know who to XXXX? Again if my payments were behind by over {$13000.00} wouldn't you have contacted my attorney. I was under bankruptcy and you were advised that I had an attorney but yet you never advised him that I was {$13000.00} behind in payments. Nor alerting myself or him that foreclosure proceedings was already in the works again with XXXX law firm, ( this was confirmed by XXXX XXXX himself the attorney in the XXXX office.
