Consumer Complaint: I consumer, XXXX XXXX, entered into a consumer credit transaction with REGIONAL ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION on XX/XX/2022. A consumer credit transaction in which a finance charge was involved. 15 usc 1605 defines a finance charge as the sum of all charges in a consumer credit transaction. The finance charge does not include cash, but REGIONAL ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION took cash. The finance charge is supposed to include insurance, but REGIONAL ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION made me purchase insurance seperately.

Consumer Complaint: I am XXXX years old and am having my daughter file this complaint from me as I feel totally unheard and disregarded. I have no vehicle hence there should not be car insurance deducted from my account. I do pay my grandsons car payment through XXXX but his mom pays the car insurance. I made contact with Truist last month once my daughter started reviewing my account with me. She was concerned as to why my balance was dwindling so fast. I have called Truist to no avail. I initially filed the dispute in XXXX and requested the block through the app. I received notifications that the dispute was in process. Had not heard anything. I looked today and the same charge from esurance came through on XX/XX/23 for XXXX. Speaking with offshore agents is ridiculous. I was advised that basically the dispute was filed but the block was not completed hence the charge coming back. Now I have to get yet ANOTHER card and file yet ANOTHER dispute. I am on a limited income and Truist is letting someone just take my money!! The rep told me that I need to call and stop the recurring payment but how can I do that when its not mine and I dont know the name of the person that created this transaction!!!!!???

Consumer Complaint: I frequently used an app called XXXX where I would wager money. On XX/XX/2023 someone was able to gain access to my debit card, account informations and other personal details. They then deposited and wagered money on my account as a form of sabotage. I let XXXX know however they refused my response and I then contacted my bank Truist. I told they what happened and I had my account frozen. However, their investigation took only 2 days. They denied my refund since my response was not valid. The perosn on the phone asked if I ever done business with XXXX and I said yes however she labeled it as no so as a result Truist saw this as a lie on my end however it was a mistake by the call handler. I called Truist to let them know and they said they can open an appeal but I was never contacted again by them and whenever I contact them they refuse to answer. {$2500.00} dollars of a charge was unauthorized by me and Id like these funds reimbursed.

Consumer Complaint: Truist bank, has flagged my account for fraud but never notified me. It turns out they froze/locked my account since XXXX XXXX when I had a deposit made in a local branch. I called the branch for an unrelated issue on XXXX XXXX and was not made aware. I called on XXXX XXXX, after noticing I could not log into my account on the mobile app or via the website when attempted to check if a mortgage payment I scheduled was debited. They finally decided to inform me that my account was locked out. I can't access my money, and they can't tell me when a " fraud '' investigation will be completed or when they will restore access. At no point was I notified or requested for information to assist in restoring access to my money or my account. When asked, they did not provide details on what the resolution process looks like going forward. I have money in the account that I need for bills, food, and anything else that I can not use.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX has been reporting a charge off my my credit file with all CRAs erroneously. This account is NOT a charge off. Its ordinary income. They have willfully neglected to send me a 1099c when they received a tax break from the IRS since the debt has been discharged. Furthermore, they balance they say I allegedly owe is GROSSLY incorrect. They have never tried to validate nor fix the corrected amount less my gap insurance and auction sale. This is fraud- they need to issue me the 1099c so that I may file it as income for the year of 2021 as an addendum of amendment. Consumer law CLEARLY states that income is not placed on a consumer report.

Issue: Problems at the end of the loan or lease
Subissue: Unable to receive car title or other problem after the loan is paid off
Consumer Complaint: I bought my car in GXXXX around XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX new from XXXX XXXX in XXXX. I moved to XXXXXXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX switched over my car details to XXXX around that time also. Moved back to XXXX and switched over my car details back to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX I received a letter from the XXXX Dept of Revenue saying the miles on the XXXX XXXX title were incorrect and I needed to submit certified title history paperwork. Since I now lived back in the home state of the car 's original loan origination, instead of going back in forth with the states DMV when XXXX submitted the title to XXXX originally, and then XXXX just submitted it back to XXXX when I moved, I decided to pay off my car loan end of XX/XX/XXXX ( wk oXXXX XXXX ). Final balance was {$2700.00}. I received a notification that it was reported to the credit bureaus that I paid it off. Truist wiped all loan information off my online banking, so I could not even look for past statements or payments. I still have a credit card with Truist, so I still have an active online banking account profile with them. I called on XX/XX/XXXX, spoke to a XXXX about getting a notice of lean release so I could get my title, as 3 months had passed since I paid off the loan with no correspondence directly from them. She gathered the information needed, as well as validated my info and said that I would receive a notarized letter to bring to the DMV within XXXX business days. I have not received the correspondence requested to date ( ~7 weeks since request ), as well as not any other type of communication from them in regards to my ( now ) 5 month paid off car loan. XXXX is when I need to register my car and I need to ensure that this will not disrupt that process as it will affect the use of my vehicle. I need this documentation as soon as possible so I can start the process of getting my title and moving on with my life, and hopefully the relationship with Truist. The reviews online over this lien release process is appalling and scary. It sounds like I am one of many that have to deal with this. They have their money, I am not sure why my paperwork for what I now legally own is being held hostage.
