Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to file a complaint against Transworld Systems Inc. and XXXX for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). Specifically, I have identified several discrepancies and errors in my credit report that have been verified by the companies despite my attempts to dispute them. Regarding the Transworld Systems Inc. account, the status of the account is incorrect as it is marked as " open '' instead of " closed '' or " paid. '' Additionally, the original amount owed and the current balance are both listed as {$750.00}, despite the fact that it is not mine, and I have never had any business or financial relationship with XXXX XXXX. Additionally, I have not received any notice or communication regarding this debt before seeing it on my credit report. Regarding the XXXX account, the date of first delinquency is listed as XX/XX/2019, which is incorrect. The original creditor name is listed as " XXXX XXXX, '' which is also inaccurate. These discrepancies and errors have negatively impacted my credit score and have caused me financial harm. Despite my attempts to dispute these inaccuracies with Transworld Systems IncXXXX and XXXX, they have failed to correct the errors and continue to report inaccurate information. I respectfully request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that these companies comply with the FCRA and the FDCPA and delete this account. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Consumer Complaint: A lawsuit or settlement is likely to be pursued in U.S. District Court, in The Hawaii XXXX in XXXX, Hawaii. The debt collector for federally gaurunteed debts, XXXX, wrote a fraudulent check in my name suggesting that I signed it and attempted to submit it as an electronic payment. This check would have deducted {$500.00} from my checking account where I only receive disability payments from the VA as I am rated as permanently and totally XXXX. The debt collector by contract and law has to review and take into consideration all circumstances while collecting a debt, to include a person experiencing financial hardships who is permanently and totally XXXX only reveiving income from one source for disablility. Furthermore, the debt collector is required to get a verbal agreement over the phone to process a payment in order to collect a debt in the form of a " check '' and disclosures must be read, accounts must be reviewed. The debt collector outright submitted a check that I did not sign. If this check # XXXX were to have cleared my account, my wife, my XXXX XXXX XXXX daughter, my XXXX XXXX XXXX daughter, and my XXXX XXXX XXXX daughter would starve to death and I would not have electricity in my apartment. My infant child is going to go through XXXX and will need Durable Medical Equipment in the home that requires electricity. Without electricity, it is not possible to do so. All my food would spoil and we would not have anything for the month to eat, all because someone at TSI wrote a fraudulent check and signed it in my name without following the company policies, which could dictate by law fraud as apart of this lawsuit. These are very real circumstances and I can prove that they are real. The debt collector did it without my authorization. The last conversation I recall with the debt collector is that I would do it online at my convenience. I never set the payment up online.

Consumer Complaint: This is a follow up to my complaint XXXX from almost a year ago. TSI keeps claiming that my insurance was billed but has failed to provide proof. It has been a year of them forwarding me the same bill from XXXX XXXX instead of any communication from my primary insurance. I did see last year that my complaint XXXX was closed, but did not see until now that feedback had been requested from me about how TSI has responded to my complaint. Would you please intervene by either reopening complaint XXXX or starting a new complaint. It has been a year of back and forth with no resolution.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I switched my phone service with permission from XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX made it clear that I had to pay my outstanding bill from XXXX to obtain a code that would enable me to transport my service from XXXX to XXXX. On the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX, I paid with my debit card {$240.00}, which I was told was my final bill, and on that same day, my cellphone was switched from XXXX to XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a bill for {$280.00} from XXXX, claiming that I owed the unpaid balance. I tried to explain to them, but they would not give me a listening ear. They then processed and sent my name and this amount to a collection agency XXXX XXXX, in Pennsylvania. I would receive calls from all odd hours and every day of the week. They would send me an email, notices in my mailbox, etc. I tried to explain that I did not owe this money, and there seemed to be an error. They reported me to the credit bureaus, which caused my credit scores to drop. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX, I decided to purchase a home and was advised to go ahead and pay off this debt of {$280.00}. On the XXXX of XXXX, I contacted XXXX XXXX to clear this bill ; my account was debited for {$340.00} that day. Their agent told me within XXXX to XXXX business days, I would receive a notice of payment in full either via fax or mail. I asked for a fax copy to be sent because the underwriters need it urgently. They promised I would receive the fax that same day within 30mins to an hour. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I am still waiting to receive a mail or the faxed copy. I have called this agency daily, and they keep giving me the runaround. I asked to speak with a managXXXX, but none has taken my call. I am left stranded and I need help.

Consumer Complaint: This has began to be a problem. I am in an XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, they call me. I was not sure, what type of company they were, and their shady practices are questionable. I thought it was a transportation company. I called back and asked, what kind of company they were. I thought it was my counselor from the Veterans ' Affairs, but it was this company called Transworld. Upon calling back, they refuse to give me any information about their business, but as the have called my number they are asking to give them my personal information. What kind of business calls and asks the person who calls back for personal information, but attempts to put the caller to coerce to obtain information from them without telling them what kind of business they are? I am assuming it is a collection agency- the person on the phone said to me : " If you tell me your name, I can look you up, then I can tell you what this is about ''. Me asking him again and again, what kind of business it is, because I simply would like to know, there are tons of scammers out there, who are attempting to scam XXXX XXXX. It was absolutely unnecessary and rude not to give me their information, as I do not know, who these people are and they call me from different numbers. They are called Transworld, so I have not looked them up yet, I am not sure, why they keep on calling during my work hours, which is me being in school on my phone and refuse to give me their name of their business nature or the nature of their call. I do not have a problem communication over my phone, but I do have a problem, that these people call me and refuse to identify themselves, when I call them back. I was in a meeting today, and they called me again! I am unable to answer the phone during meetings, but they called me up to three times a day. This feels like a form of extortion, trying to coerce the caller to give out information. I do not volunteer such information, they have called me to begin with and need to tell me the nature of their business. I just want them to stop calling me, as they refuse to tell me who they are and are coercive trying to extract information. Even though I blocked their phone numbers, they find a way around it, to call me. Thank you.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: Ever since UAS Connect has switched over from previously being UAS echo I have had issues with my payments being processed. I have tried the autopay option with them and even though they withdraw the payment on their requested date, the payment doesn't " process '' until after the due date, even though payment was submitted and received prior to the due date. When I do this process manually, rather than through autopay, I am left with the same result. Whether submit my payment days in advance or day of, I am still charged a late fee and penalties. Also on XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX I submitted a request for a reduced payment plan and subsequently filled out all necessary forms and returned them to UAS. To this day they deny receiving that form event though I have the proof of it in my inbox. When I try to resolve these issues I am left on hold with no eventual response. They are stonewalling anybody who tries to get any answers or solve any issues. I have looked online and I am not the only individual having payment issues with this company. I do believe that they have malicious intent and do not stand to serve their customers. Any and all help is very much appreciated! Thank you.
