Consumer Complaint: I went to try to purchase a home and was denied because it showed that I had an open collections with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) a property in the amount of {$9900.00} that was on my credit report in collections and an eviction. I have never stayed at this property nor have I signed a lease for the property. As I stated, i'm not sure who used my information, but it was fraudulently used to obtain this property, at the time I did not have a job so there was no way that I could have even afford this property if I wanted to. I've also received bills from XXXX XXXX ( {$3800.00} ) as well as water companies/credit card companies and I've never had a home/apartment let alone a credit card. I stayed with family because I wanted to save up to buy a home. I've been at the same address for years, and I noticed other addresses on my report all properties that I never resided at. According to 15 U.S.C 1681 it is a defamation of character because I cant get anything let alone buy a home because of it and you guys continue to report false and inaccurate information on my credit report. I've reached out to credit bureaus such as ( XXXX, Transunion, XXXX ) and I've also submitted my supporting documents in which I had to file identity theft because my information has been used by someone in whom I do not know to have this removed and not XXXX credit bureau have yet to do a investigation, I only received the automated " This information is proven accurate ''. I have disputed it as well with third parties like XXXX XXXX, so if they have this information disputed how is it it being verified? I am disputing this account and requesting validation of debt. ( 15 USC 1692g Sec.809 ( b ) ). I am NOT requesting verification but I am requesting validation. I request that you provide me with evidence of the debt, including the results of your investigation. I have been battling with this for 3 years now and it is very troubling, I can not even get a place of my own because of it and this information is fraud and a defamation of character!!! After reviewing my credit report I must inform you that I am NOT responsible for the above listed accounts as I have been a victim of identity theft. I have already notified both my local police department and the Federal Trade Commission by completing an identity theft report which I have included for review. Please delete these accounts from my credit report immediately!

( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. I can go on and on and on The credit bureaus have no respect for the laws. Someone needs to hold them accountable for this

Consumer Complaint: I am formally disputing the accuracy of the information on my credit report regarding XXXX, which I believe is participating in identity theft. XXXX has acquired my Social Security Number and personal details without my consent, constituting a severe violation of my privacy. Both XXXX and XXXX are violating permissible purpose regulations by providing my credit report without obtaining written consent from me. According to Section 604 ( f ) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), users must certify a permissible purpose for obtaining a consumer report, and I request that you produce the written consent authorizing the furnishing of my credit report. Moreover, I am invoking Section 1681e ( b ) of the FCRA, which mandates consumer reporting agencies to maintain reasonable procedures ensuring the maximum possible accuracy of consumer information provided to third parties. XXXX has already removed this disputed information due to its inability to validate it.
