Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Dear CFPB, In order to provide concrete evidence and express implied concise laws pertaining to credit reporting. This dispute may seem lengthy but thorough and valid in its intent to reveal the violations that have been consistently carried out over the years with no remorse or intent to rectify their ( reporting agencies ) violations. Please bear with me in reading my complaint. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 USC 1681 section 602 a states " There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave. responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. '' XXXX, Transunion, and XXXX are consumer reporting agencies and I am the Consumer. I have the right to make sure my private information isn't shared Which is backed by 15 USC 6801 which states It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those. customers nonpublic personal information. '' XXXX XXXX and XXXX are financial institutions under that title. XXXX XXXX XXXX section XXXX a section XXXX states that " In general, Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency XXXX furnish a consumer report under the instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Any and all consent to XXXX, Transunion, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX whether it be verbal, non-verbal, written, implied or otherwise, is revoked. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) states that " A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. '' All of my rights in this particular instance have been violated by the above XXXX agencies. XXXX and XXXX never informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Not only that XXXX XXXX XXXX ( a ) ( XXXX ) states '' Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), but no consumer reporting agency XXXX also make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than XXXX years. '' These accounts are adverse items that are being reported again and again without my permission, which is against the law. Reporting on XXXX, Transunion and XXXX furnished by XXXX and XXXX : Neither has contacted me over the years for permission to furnish or publish my personal information. Also, Privacy act of XXXX states as amended, 5 U.S.C. 552a, establishes a code of fair information practices that governs the collection, maintenance, use, and dissemination of information about individuals that is maintained in systems of records by federal agencies. Meaning Under the Privacy Act, Federal agencies may not disclose information without consent unless certain exceptions apply to the disclosure. Enclosed is a letter from the Bankruptcy XXXX stating they do not disclose information to credit bureaus. Bankruptcy reporting is third party information and should be deleted ACCORDING TO LAW! Next XXXX is in violation of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( XXXX ) is a federal law enacted in XXXX that protects the privacy of student education records. Issue: Improper use of your report

Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly

Consumer Complaint: Ive noticed that several deviations from mandatory reporting standards therefore the data in my report can not be accurate and complete! With that said, I deny your allegations and I challenge you to provide proof that you have the right to report this incomplete negative information on my credit report. Per 15 U.S.C 1681e Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. According to 12 CFR Part 1022 ( Regulation V ) requires furnishers to : Furnish information concerning accounts or other relationships with a consumer that has integrity. Furnish information about accounts or other relationships with a consumer that is accurate. C - Conduct reasonable investigations of consumer disputes According to CRRG, in order to make a lawful report, you must follow the Metro 2 compliance standards. Also as stated in the CRRG Any Deviation From These Standards Jeopardizes The Integrity of The Data. This means that any mistakes in reporting claims can make the information less accurate and it affects the accuracy of any federally regulated reports. Therefore, I am invoking my rights to challenge these inaccurate and non-compliant items. Neglecting my demand will only prove that you DO NOT care about my rights as a consumer. Its NOT FAIR for you to report information that isnt confirmed to be ethical and meets the standards of certified reporting. Again, I am challenging these claims and asking for proof of the proper reporting standards. You are violating my rights! I have listed the concerns about your reporting in this document. It's not complete and does not meet my standards according to law, you must certify all aspects of required FCRA/ Metro 2 compliance which is done truthfully, correctly ( in a timely manner ), completely AND accurately as well - or else I would have to escalate these issues to the CFPB XXXX FTC and my Attorney General.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report

Subissue: Account status incorrect

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023, I received an update that my credit score had dramatically decreased. It appears that although I updated my loan Autopay information with XXXX for my auto loan, it did not properly register and failed to debit my bank account for my loan payment. I believe that this was not user error and was due to shoddy maintenance of the XXXX website, which is the only way to access financial information regarding my account. When trying to double check that I did not have any outstanding payments and double check that my Autopay information was properly updated, I attempted to access the XXXX website but was unable to do so due to additional website errors. I did not receive any notice of the failure to pay via a usable means of communication until the missed payment was reported to the credit reporting bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: I respectfully request your assistance in resolving an error on my TransUnion credit report. A loan appears under my name that I never obtained. Trans Union is attributing this delinquent loan to me and I would like it removed. I never took out this loan that Trans union claims I opened an account for on XX/XX/2022 which was closed on XX/XX/2022 for the amount of {$190.00} with an ending balance of {$280.00} for SALARIES AND EXPENSES. It is showing a partial account number of XXXX for an Individual Account. I never sought a loan, I never signed for a loan, I never agreed to a loan, I never agreed to repay a loan. I never opened or closed this supposed account. I have asked Trans Union to provide proof that I took this loan out. They have not provided the proof, yet they have not removed this erroneous information. How can I get them to remove this information that is not accurate? ( You can publish this. I do not think anyone will be able to identify me from this )

Consumer Complaint: I have rights to ensure that my private information is not shared without my consent. These agencies need my written instructions to furnish my information to financial institutions. However, I have not given my consent for them to share my information, and they have not informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Additionally, they are reporting adverse information about my account without your permission, which is against the law.
