Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I inquired about a potential loan from XXXX XXXX. I filled out the application online but didn't finish it. A lady named XXXX called me to see if I wanted to process and complete the loan that I needed to provide certain documents. I called her back and let her know that I didn't want the loan and to not process it. However the people at XXXX XXXX has called me numerous time a day and left voicemail since XX/XX/XXXX even though I called and told them I do not want the loan and to not process it. Consumer Complaint: Time and time again I have reached out to XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion on multiple occasions through various letters, addressing inaccuracies within my consumer credit profile. These inaccuracies span from the reporting of late payments and credit utilization to errors in personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and employers. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, specifically outlined in 15 USC 1681, consumer reporting agencies like XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion are mandated to fulfill their responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a deep respect for consumer privacy. As a consumer, I am entitled to protect my private information, a right underscored by 15 USC 6801, emphasizing the duty of financial institutions to uphold customer privacy and safeguard nonpublic personal information. The entities providing information to credit agencies, known as " Furnishers, '' fall within the definition of financial institutions. According to 15 USC 1681, Section 604 ( a ), any consumer report furnished by these agencies should strictly adhere to the written instructions of the concerned consumer. This inclusion, without my consent, violates the law. Moreover, in accordance with 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ), agencies are prohibited from knowingly furnishing inaccurate consumer information. XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion are expected to maintain reasonable procedures, as mandated by 15 U.S. Code 1681e, to prevent violations and limit the furnishing of consumer reports. Reporting transaction history is deemed illegal under this code. Lastly, 15 USC 1681 ( c ) stipulates that no adverse items, aside from the conviction of crimes, should be present on the consumer credit profile.
