Consumer Complaint: unverified inquiries on my credit report. These companies have not demonstrated any permissible purpose, and it is questionable whether they have actually checked my credit, as they have failed to show any record of me on file. This could potentially be a clerical error on your part, and I demand an immediate investigation into these inquiries.

Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: I received a notice on XX/XX/XXXX that a hard inquiry had been done on my Transunion account. The hard inquiry was for a new credit card. I also received emails from XXXX XXXX that a credit card was approved in my name. I went to a XXXX XXXX and told them that I did not apply for a new card. I have never had any kind of accounts with XXXX XXXX. I do not believe that any charges were made as I received an email from XXXX XXXX stating that the card would be received in 5-7 business days. The card was approved for a credit limit of {$15000.00}. XXXX XXXX called their fraud department, and the credit card has been stopped. I have also called Transunion and have requested a 1-year fraud alert on my account. I have also gone to my bank ( XXXX XXXX ) to let them know what happened. I am also filing a report with my local police department. I have also contacted the Social Security Administration to let them know my SSN was compromised. My big concern is that XXXX XXXX had all of my pertinent information to include my name, email address, home address, and my social security number.
