Consumer Complaint: I am filing a formal complaint against TransUnion for their failure to respond to a dispute letter that I mailed on XX/XX/year>, requesting an investigation into inaccurate items on my credit report. In my dispute letter, I requested investigations into entries for XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. Additionally, I disputed incorrect personal information listed on my credit report. Despite mailing the dispute letter, I did not receive any response from TransUnion with investigation results. This failure to respond violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), which mandates that credit bureaus must conduct a reasonable reinvestigation when the completeness or accuracy of any information is disputed by the consumer. According to 15 USC 1681s-2 it states this.
