Consumer Complaint: I am writing this complaint regarding the accounts and information that Transunion is reporting to my consumer report. After going over my report I noticed several accounts that are negatively impacting my credit score in which I have no knowledge of the creditors reporting this debt. Ive then mailed a letter to Transunion asking them to investigate these accounts in which they never gave me a response. I reached out to the creditors and asked them to verify any debt and send me all documentation that authorizes the accounts. I am aware that it is Transunion 's duty to properly investigate my consumer report and remove anything thats not accurate nor verifiable. If theyre reporting these accounts, why cant they be verified with proof of signatures? The creditors listed in my complaint never had the consent to report, which is a violation of my right to privacy. Also, purchasing and selling my personal information without my consent is fraud and violates my right to privacy. No account may report to my consumer report without my consent or validation. In this complaint I have a dispute letter with the inaccurate information that I would like Transunion to investigate and ensure the most accurate information possible is being reported. Violations committed by Transunion and the Creditors : 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports 15 U.S. Code 1681 - Congressional findings and statement of purpose 15 U.S. Code 1681e - Compliance procedures 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information 15 U.S. Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules of construction 15 U.S. Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy
