Consumer Complaint: I did not give TransUnion consent to furnish the enclosed Accounts, nor the related data associated with the Accounts, on my consumer report. According to the Consumer Credit Protection Act, 15 U.S Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports, subsection ( a ), Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instruction of the consumer to whom it relates. Since TransUnion furnished the enclosed Accounts, with their related data, on my consumer report without my consent, TransUnion has violated my privacy as a protected consumer. No consent is identity theft and misuse of my non-public personal information. Also, since subsection ( a ) of 15 USC 1681b is subject to subsection ( c ), Furnishing reports in connection with credit transactions that are not initiated by the consumer are limited to : ( C ) other information pertaining to a consumer that does not identify the relationship or experience of the consumer with respect to a particular creditor. The enclosed accounts furnished in my consumer report include relationships and experiences with different creditors and is a violation of the Consumer Protection Act. As a result of XXXX 's failure to comply with the Consumer Credit Protection Act, 15 USC 1681b, my unalienable right to pursue happiness has been hindered. I have been denied access to purchase an automobile, perform much needed repairs on our home, and set up infrastructure for a new business venture because of TransUnion 's willful non-compliance.
