Consumer Complaint: I just checked my credit and found some inaccuracies. The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) is a federal law that promotes the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of information in the files of consumer reporting agencies ( CRAs ). The information in my credit report is wrong! Therefore it can not be compliant with FCRA and METRO 2 standards because the information was never proven to be factual, so now I have decided that enough 's enough and will exercise my consumer rights. The following account allegations are either untrue, unverified and incorrect. Please remove them immediately or I will have no choice but to take legal action against you! Also! Federal law requires you to respond within thirty ( 30 ) days. Failure to comply with these federal regulations by credit reporting agencies are investigated by the Federal Trade Commission ( see 15 USC 41, et seq. ). I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with you for the purpose of filing a complaint with the FTC should you continue in your non-compliance. I further remind you that, as in Wenger v. Trans Union Corp., No. 95-6445 ( C.D.cal. XXXX XXXX XXXX ), you may be liable for your willful non-compliance.
