Consumer Complaint: Target is claiming to have sent proof of debt validation to me in which I did not receive it in 30 days nor did I receive what I have requested. Please see the letter sent an attached below. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Debt Validation Letter To whom it May concern, I am writing under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and am asking for crucial and legal information ( see below ). In addition, I am asking for any negative items to be removed promptly based on Code 15USC1681 or if any legal items below can not be sent within 30 days. Please stop calling my phone and instead send me all the information you are requesting in writing to address above. I am requesting the following to be sent to my address above : Original debt contract with my signature Proof of Debt assignment All legal binding contracts Payment history Name and address of original creditor I am requesting this to be sent immediately or within 30 days or promptly remove accounts and negative marks from my credit report and all 3 Bureaus immediately. Consumer Complaint: My name XXXX XXXX My account # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I bought phone XX/XX/ =check in -online and pickup from near me store. It was XXXX Store of XXXX. I chose the payment plan, which is more convenient for me. This is a 24 month plan for a single payment of XXXX I got approved. I went and picked up the phone at the XXXX XXXX, CA. I downloaded the application ( aka XXXX XXXX, but it was TD Bank ( as on TD XXXX Card Servises ), linked my debt card And set up auto payment ( as I thought ). And forgot about it. BUT- AutoPay and System Notification is not working in your app. But I found out about this three months after the purchase. What saddened me. In these months of delay, I did not receive either a letter No any emails. No any SMS about missing payments, nothing. somehow I became the owner of a XXXX credit limit. I did not agree to this. I was deliberately misled. I wanted to buy a phone for XXXX. Everything else is the use of official position to sell credit limits. I deliberately became a debtor and creditor who is a millimeter away from a drop in credit rating. The bank did not answer the question why I have a limit of XXXX XXXX. I want to get rid of obligations to TD Bank ahead of schedule for deliberately misrepresenting a loan product, hushing up the terms of service. This is the worst banking app I've ever used, which has resulted in my credit rating getting worse and incurring unexplained debts. Help get rid of. Please

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a money order from a check cashier on XX/XX/22 in the amount of {$610.00} for my insurance which was never received. When back to the cashier to cancel the money order and was told it was cashed at TD BANK I was given a copy of the XXXX and it had been altered. The name of my insurance company was taken out somehow and a name ( XXXX XXXX ) was printed in its place.You can clearly see the XXXX was altered PLS cashier told me in writing that the decision to reimburse me that the potential theft or fraud is made solely by the XXXX, which is TD BANK

Im way to busy to go through every transaction on the mobile app I hired a financial advisor and they saw these transactions and I refuse to lose my money I dont use my debit cards everything is XXXX XXXX I lost everything I refuse for TD bank to give me this unfair decision I dont know how those transactions were made or what manner I just know I didnt authorize any of the payments I disputed

Consumer Complaint: I closed my credit card account with TD Bank but companies were able to continue charging my account even after my account had been closed. I was also not given any statement and was notified by mail that my account ( that I had closed months prior ) was overdue. Therefore, there was no way for me to know that these charges were continuing to be made to my account. With any of my prior credit owned and closed, I have never had a credit card company continue to allow charges on an account that had been closed.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I opened an account with TD Bank, account # XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, NJ, with a deposit of {$100.00}. Later that same day, I deposited XXXX money orders via the atm, XXXX Bank money orders XXXX each, written under XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX United States Postal Service money orders, {$1000.00} each. The total of the XXXX money orders totaled {$6500.00}. When logging into my account on XX/XX/XXXX, I could not log in. I then called to have my password reset and was told my account was locked and flagged for possible fraud. On, XX/XX/XXXX, I went into the Branch, and brought my mom, since she is the one who gave me the money orders for my graduation. We spoke to XXXX and let her know the money orders are not fraudulent and were given to me by my mother. My mother provided her identification to XXXX. XXXX stated she would submit a Smartform detailing the situation along with my moms license and that we should hear back later that day or in the morning. She advised that even if they closed the account permanently, they would refund the balance. We then received a letter for each money order deposited stating. We have delayed the availability of funds from your deposit as account information indicates that the check may not be paid. Rest assured your funds will be available no later than XXXX business days after the deposit is made, unless we are notified of a returned check. ( see attached for all letters ) We never heard back from XXXX regarding the Smartform after days passed. Again on XX/XX/XXXX called the branch to speak with XXXX, was told she was with a client and would call me back, but I never received a call. On XX/XX/XXXX, we returned to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and spoke with XXXX. He stated it usually takes up to 10 days for the hold to be removed and to come back in a couple of days. We returned to the same branch on XX/XX/XXXX, spoke to XXXX. She stated they closed the account. I explained to her the situation and that a Smartform was submitted. She tried to email the back office, which I am assuming is the fraud dept, but she did not get a response. She told use to leave, and she would give us a call later or in the morning, but we never received a call. We waited a few more days. We called the bank and asked XXXX, and was told she would call back, but she didnt. We then called the bank again on XX/XX/XXXX and asked to speak to the Bank XXXX and was told she was on vacation. We then went into the bank again on XX/XX/XXXX. We spoke to XXXX first, he looked at my account and said that it was only the XXXX day and the XXXX dept has 10 days to decide. After XXXX, we then waited to speak to XXXX again. She stated the account was closed, which was opposite of what XXXX said. And she stated I needed to file a claim with wherever I got the money orders from. I asked what type of claim and she said she didnt know and that was all the information she could provide and I would have to figure it out. We went to the post office asking about a claim process and they stated since they money orders have been cashed, there is nothing they can do. I then reached out to XXXX XXXX XXXX and was told the same. Since the money orders were cashed its clear on their end. So who am I filing a claim with? I feel we being given the run around. After doing my research, I found that TD Bank is one of the banks that do take XXXX party checks, so how can they not refund the money. Ive also found that, in the issue of XXXX party checks, once the XXXX party has been verified, the funds are released. We have left several messages and called for the Bank manager, and she has been unresponsive or not available in the branch. When calling the XXXX number, we are only directed back to the branch. Our next step is to reach out to an attorney. We feel our rights have been violated. All of the money orders have been cashed and we have not received any notice that anything has been returned. This money was given to me for as a graduation gift for school and I need it to pay for school. They have not been forth coming, but very deceptive in not refunding the money. I have been given the run around for weeks and enough is enough.

Consumer Complaint: I'm filing a complaint with TD Bank because my claim for unauthorized transactions made between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX using my TD Bank debit card was denied. I noticed the debit card was missing when I logged into my online checking account on XX/XX/XXXX, and discovered the unauthorized transactions. I immediately called customer service to have the account closed, and to file a claim for the fraudulent transactions. I told the customer service representative that the card must have been lost around XX/XX/XXXX because that is when the unauthorized transactions began. The last time I remember seeing the debit card is when I made an ATM cash deposit on XX/XX/XXXX for {$1800.00}. I hadn't made any transactions before the debit card was lost. Nevertheless, the next day, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a provisional credit for {$2000.00} pending completion of the claim review. I then received a final resolution letter dated XX/XX/XXXX informing me that the review had been completed, and a determination was made that an error hadn't occurred. The reasons for the denial were that the transactions were authorized by me, and the spending pattern is consistent with previous account history ( see attached letter ). The only previous account history is when I lost a previous TD Bank debit card in XXXX, and there were unauthorized transactions on the account made mostly in XXXX, FL. The transactions that were made with this debit card were made in XXXX FL, and none of the transactions were identical to the transactions made with the first lost debit card. It's an error in review to clam the latest fraud transactions are similar to transactions authorized by me when I don't have prior authorized transactions.

Consumer Complaint: This company states i was late 30 on a car loan that has since been paid off. They reported first was late XX/XX/XXXX then came back after I did disputes with credit bureaus that it was XX/XX/XXXX. Which is still incorrect paid was made on XX/XX/XXXX. Car note is due 16th of every month. I sent a good Will letter when I thought I was in the wrong when I sent double payments explained a very sincere letter but after seeing my results back from credit bureaus they are still reporting wrong info this account was in good standing. For 72months with no late payment and soon as car gets paid off they want to report incorrect info this company is terrible not even trying to understand and never late. Usually a company does remove one late fee this company is not being fair and I have wrote several letters and same response and credit bureaus have tryed I feel this company is unfair to a great on time paying customer for 7 years! This company has no remorse and feelings and no compassion what so ever. Even during COVID they got there payments on time and also double amount. I have tryed to contact ceo of company no such luck. I thought this company was great threw the whole term of my loan never had any complaints until now after reading reviews on there company now I see why. I am exhausted and have exhausted all options but to make a complaint on this company. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 I got a Target Credit Card. I asked what kind of inquiry would be used before I signed up. Turns out it counts as hard inquiry on some reporting files and a soft inquiry on others. Their app locks me out all the time so I can't use the card. Today XX/XX/2023 the card itself would not authorize and I could not reach any agent at 5 phone numbers. Their phone numbers are all set for Central/Mountain time office hours and I am in Pacific time . I was so disgusted about the card being locked I chopped it up after leaving messages through their " secure messaging '' in the app. If these people want me to have another credit card they will mail me a new card that I can actually use. I raised my credit scores through diligence from XXXX to low XXXX 's before I had their card. I wanted the major Target card with XXXX or XXXX on it but they cheated me and only gave me the store branded card with {$1100.00} credit limit. I live 1/2 a block away from their nearest store and shop there all the time so the security people know my face. Most of my money was being spent there. Not anymore. Learned my lesson. They don't want low income housed people in there when all their money comes from insurance because the homeless rob them blind.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 - Per online auction I purchased 3 items ( {$1900.00} ) of music memorabilia purported to be 'autographed. ' One item was to be accompanied by letter establishing provenance which seller failed to provide. All 3 items came with " Certificate of Authenticity '' issued by seller. On/about XX/XX/2023 goods received. Seller recommended authentication 'expert ' which I researched and found had a questionable reputation. I researched and contacted reputable expert. XX/XX/2023 Items ' autographs verified by authentication experts to be forgeries. I contacted seller advising of failed authentication and requested to return goods. Seller refused. XXXX - I called Customer Service of TD Bank , issuer of XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( with which payment was made ), to advise of fraud and dispute {$1900.00} charge. I offered to send report of authentication expert and correspondence with seller. Representative declined to receive same. XX/XX/2023 - I received two letters from TD Bank : 1 ) dated XX/XX/2023 stating, " additional information is needed relating to transaction ( s )... '' and, 2 ) dated XX/XX/2023 stating, " Our review determined an error did not occur '' and " Must be resolved with the merchant '' and " You have the right to request documentation used to make our determination. '' From this point forward I made all communications on TD Bank 's website so there would be a 'paper trail ' of correspondence. Attached are copies of all website 13 messages correspondence ending XX/XX/2023 including my repeated requests for above mentioned documentation. At all times TD Bank has both refused to comply and failed to reply. Upon research I discovered that the 'merchant ' is a know purveyor of forged signature memorability with a " D+ '' rating with XXXX.org. I also have entire file of 25 messages between myself and the merchant, including 6 requests for instructions for return of forged items, all of which were refused.
