Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Banking errors
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, XXXX as I was making a drive-thru deposit in my TD Bank savings account in XXXX, Florida, the teller told me that the interest rate on my savings account was incorrect at .05 % and that she was going to 'bump it up ' to the going rate of 4 % ( on 260K interest increased from {$2.00} to {$850.00} per month. After traveling, I went into the same TD bank in XXXX and spoke in great depth with Assistant XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ID # XXXX, asking to be paid the appropriate interest on my money pending the interest increase in XXXX. $ XXXX had been sitting in my savings account for over 2 years attaining {$2.00} per month. She said she could only go back and pay retroactively 1 month. This was done. She stated that the reasons she could only go back one month was because - XXXX. I needed to also have an active checking account ( she and I checked and my checking account was VERY active ). XXXX. It was my responsibility to come into the bank when the interest rates started rising and ask for the correct amount of interest back in XXXX XXXX. That my account was not the type of savings account that was entitled to an increase in interest ( yet, the drive-thru teller had increased it without me even signing any paperwork! ) XXXX. It would be too difficult for her to go back through the months and determine the appropriate interest for each month as she didn't have access to the rates ( verbatim ). XXXX. She had spoken with the 'back office ' and they said they had sent out a notification card telling me what my interest rate was, however, could not provide a date that this was sent out ( I am meticulous with my banking mail and file all correspondence immediately ). I informed her that I would be filing a complaint and asked her to email me ( in writing ) all of the reasons why I could not get the appropriate interest on my account, however, to no avail, so I have best summarized what I was told. I suspect that this is being done to other elderly people who are not on top of interest rates, etc. I am looking forward to getting it resolved and I hope it raises awareness for others who are being taken advantage of.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: The issue : After filing a CFPB complaint ( ID XXXX ) for order # XXXX. The company provided false information regarding a resolution, resulting in the complaint being closed without action being taken by the company as outlined in their response. Details : Target Card Services ' CFPB response on XX/XX/23 states that a refund was issued to my account for {$240.00} on XX/XX/23 for order # XXXX. This is not true. Target Card Services did issue a refund for that amount ( {$240.00} ) for a completely separate transaction. The Target.com order number for the refunded transaction is # XXXX. It was a XXXX bookcase that was returned via XXXX - picked up in XXXX XXXX, NY on XX/XX/23 and arrived on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX The tracking number for that package was XXXX. Please see the screenshot attached that confirms the refund date for order # XXXX. Please also see the that the refund was issued and the return address and zip code ( XXXX ) that was used for that return transaction. This refund was issued by the merchant. I have not yet been issued a refund for the order ( # XXXX ) that I raised a CFPB complaint about on XX/XX/23. That return package is in limbo due to Target.com issuing a return label with a zip code that did not match the physical location of the return facility the label was addressed to. Based on the info shared by Target Card Services in their CFPB response on XX/XX/23, I should have XXXX separate refunds for {$240.00} on my credit statement on or after XX/XX/23 as follows : - A refund of {$240.00} for order # XXXX, returned on XX/XX/23 - A refund of {$240.00} for # XXXX, which has not yet shown up on my account despite the response from Target Card Services via CFPB complaint on XX/XX/23 ( ID XXXX ). Per their response, Target Card Services determined that I should be refunded this amount but haven't followed through on a refund despite claiming that they have refunded me. To resolve this issue, I am requesting a refund of {$240.00} for the transaction thats still not yet accounted for on my statement. The order number under dispute is # XXXX. Attached supporting documentation is as follows : - My bank statement showing only XXXX refund of {$240.00}, not the XXXX refunds that I should have on XX/XX/23 for BOTH returns ( per target Card Services ' claim ) - Screenshots of both transaction amounts ( {$240.00} ) - only XXXX showing an approved refund for order # XXXX. Order # XXXX which is under dispute here has not been refunded despite Target Card Services claim. - An additional screenshot showing that Target.com approved a refund on XX/XX/23 for a completely separate order ( # XXXX ), and not order # XXXX which is under dispute in this claim - A return label to ( 1 ) show the date that order # XXXX was returned and ( 2 ) to show the physical zip code of the facility which doesnt match the USPS label created by Target.com - this error has presumably delayed the return of the item to them - The USPS label that was provided for the return still under dispute ( Target order # XXXX ), which I have not yet been refunded for despite Target Card Services ' claim - My Target account details to help expedite resolution

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: I have disputed incorrect info twice to experian. Their results each time do not remove the incorrect info. On XX/XX/17 i faxed & uploaded info with my ID & my daughters info & ID as these accts belong to her, NOT me. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX do not show the incorrect info, only XXXX. This is causing me to lose points on my credit score causing other accts of mine to lower my available credit etc. I dont know what more I can do to correct the situation that they refuse to correct. My daughter said these accts also show on her credit report as an individual acct
