Consumer Complaint: Police report XXXX is attached. TD Bank/Nordstrom has willingly ignored police reports and have been in noncompliance of the laws and negligently reporting inaccurate credit reporting information to the credit bureaus. Section 605B protects consumers from fraud and identity theft yet the creditor has willingly broken the law and has refused to respond via the CFPB to these claims. Please send back to the original credit as they are not following the law. Also cease and desist all forms of communication as this debt is not valid.

Consumer Complaint: For over 2 months I've been trying to resolve an account issue with TD Bank. Please refer to CFPB Complaint ID XXXX - XXXX filed on XX/XX/XXXX. After this complaint ( also submited to XXXX ) I received a response from the Bank stating that they will proceed to release my funds after I let them know in which way. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted Mrs XXXX XXXX at XXXX after trying for almost a week leaving messages and expecting a call back. At that time I agreed with Mrs XXXX that my funds for a total of $ XXXX.- would be inmediately released in a form of a check send to my physical address and the account permanently closed. Two weeks after this call and the promise that would take " only a couple of days '' I still waiting for my money. Phone calls made to this lady and messages left haven't took me anywhere. This funds are from my Social Security direct deposit and have placed me in a situation to where some of my debts been left unpaid and charges being accrued. At this time they have kept my money for over 40 days and I expect to be compensated for this disruption against my will and good faith. My closest Branch it's about 50 miles away and since my Account still holds the status of " frozen '' I'm unable to do anything else in my power to have what belongs to me. Truly hope that CFPB and XXXX will help me disburse this Bank practices and prevent future potential clients from going through this unfair and truculent procedures.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing in regards to a late payment on my credit report from for XX/XX/XXXX on my TD Bank/Target account # XXXX, opened XX/XX/XXXX, credit limit {$2000.00} that occurred due to a third-party error. ( I already sent proof to TD Bank ). My due date is the XXXX of the month. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a payment confirmation from XXXX stating that my payment was successfully submitted. However, one month later I realized that I had a late payment reported. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from the third-party company stating that they committed an error and my payment did not go through. Before this email, I was not even aware that my account was carrying a balance and had a late payment. I immediately made the payment on but by that time I was already marked late. This was a situation that I could not control. I had over {$19000.00} in the bank, which was more than enough to make the payment. This was not a money issue or even worse, because I did not want to pay. Now I have a perfect record of on-time payments. As a courtesy, I am requesting that XXXX a goodwill adjustment and remove the late payment from my record. You have been my bank for a long time, and I hope to continue having a wonderful relationship with your company. Thank you for your consideration.

Target states that because I choose to make additional payments throughout the month or larger then minimal balance amount ... they need to wait until they get confirmation from my bank. They can not give me a date that it will be reflected in my available balance. Payment is made from the same bank account it has been paid from since I opened the account in 2006.

Consumer Complaint: I had a promotional rate savings account with TDBank. The rate was to be 2.50 % for 12 months from account opening. As I approached the end of the promotion period I began asking when exactly would my promotion period actually end ( what date ) and what would the new, non-promotional rate be. I sent secure messages to TD via the internet portal, called the retail bank offices, and asked the reps on the XXXX number customer service. I got nowhere. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Finally, I decided after NUMEROUS inquiries, to close the account by transferring most of the remaining balance to another TD account, leaving just a small balance. At that point, with just a few cents remaining in the account, I sent secure multiple messages to TD Bank thru the internet portal asking that my ACCOUNT BE CLOSED and to transfer the remaining balance to my checking account. I sent this request on the following dates : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. In two cases I got a non-responsive response from TD ( a canned response ) basically saying nothing. In one response from a " XXXX '' on XX/XX/XXXX I was actually told that she could not close my account because it had a balance. So I withdrew the last few cents and repeated my request on XX/XX/XXXX. Today I checked my accounts on online and I see that TD Bank assessed me two ( 2 ) {$15.00} service charges on the savings account totaling {$30.00}. Now, of course, during all this time, their branches are closed so u can not walk in. I called the branch several times, left my name, no one bothered to call me back. When you try to call the XXXX number you are put on a long hold to talk to a person. Actually, as I type this complain I am on hold now with TD Bank awaiting a live person. I've been on hold now for 30 minutes.

An identity thief used my personal information without my permission to open an account and make purchases with [ name of business where account was opened ]. This debt is not mine. I have enclosed proof of my identity and a copy of my FTC Identity Theft Report. In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I am asking you to stop collection proceedings against me and stop communicating with me about this debt, except as the Fair Credit Reporting Act allows. I also ask that you notify [ the business where the account was opened ] and tell them the debt is the result of identity theft. [ Provide details about what happened. Include the dates and amounts of fraudulent transactions. ] I have enclosed a copy of the Federal Trade Commissions Notice to Furnishers of Information. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I changed my XXXX payment process to auto-pay, and sucessfully paid the due amount of {$130.00}. Since XX/XX/XXXX, I was certain the auto had been set-up correctly. I never received any notice of an overdue payment, until XXXX reported a 30 day late to the credit bureau in XX/XX/2020. I never received any emails, phone calls or a letter/bill in the mail stating a previous months payment had not been received. I was never informed of any outstanding amount overdue from a previous month. My payment record with XXXX was excellent, and I would have made a manual payment sooner if XXXX would have contacted me. On XX/XX/XXXX, when I discovered the issue while looking at my credit as I prepared for my house purchase, I made an immediate manual payment of the total amount due for that month and the upcoming month totalling {$180.00}. When I tried to explain that I had no knowledge that I was behind on a payment, and that the auto-pay had been sucessful, XXXX did not want to hear it, and said it was all my fault. I was in disbelief and continued to contact XXXX in an effort to provide clear proof that there was no effort from XXXX to bring this to my attention, All my efforts were dismissed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid off the account in total for {$950.00}.

Consumer Complaint: During this Covid-19 crises our XXXX XXXX had to close its doors, we still have not been able to reopen. There is has been so much confusion and misinformation out in the world during this crazy time. I contacted my credit cards and mortgage company letting them know how our family has been affected by this crises. I was told there would not be any late charges or credit reporting during this time. Nordstroms may have been missed in all of this, XXXX of 2020 they gave me a 30 day late, never called me and then in XX/XX/2020 they gave me a 60 day late. They finally called me after the 60 days to inform me they dinged my credit. In all of this we have had to sell our home, lucky we found a buyer quickly but now no lender will give us financing to purchase our new home because of the 60 day late charge. I don't believe this is ethically fair with all that is happening in our country. I have been a loyal customer for 13 years.
