Consumer Complaint: For going on 4 months now Ive had roughly {$5800.00} in my checking/savings account with TD bank and it has been locked the entire time and I havent been able to access my funds yet but they can keep taking out the monthly service fees every month and when I go to the branch they say call when I call they say go to the branch its a joke and they refuse to allow me to close out my account with them to get my money that way this is ridiculous what gives them the right to withhold my funds from me and continue helping themselves to maintenance fees each month and keeping my money from me like this?

Consumer Complaint: Loan originates from XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX due to divorce I was awarded sole occupancy and exclusive use of jointly owned home with ex-spouse, at same time I was obligated to be solely responsible for all mortgage payments ( property tax included in loan, escrow account ). I jointly applied for the mortgage together with ex-spouse in XXXX, we both signed for the loan, I am on the Deed as well. I have since XX/XX/XXXX had issues with not recieving information, and refunds of escrow overage, regarding the loan. I requested documents such as Principal paid on property in XX/XX/XXXX - wasn't received, I requested all mailed information regarding loan to be mailed to the porperty address of the loan, was never done. I was informed it was mailed out, but only to the co-signor my ex-spouse they said the could not mail it to me. In XX/XX/XXXX I contacted TD Bankregarding the escrow account and the recalculation of taxes, and was after much struggle informed that an overage check ( {$1000.00} ) was mailed out to the ex-spous 's address, made out to us both that he cashed in. Even though I explained the entire situation and which you can clearly be seen in the payment history that I have been the only person paying the mortgage since the forementioned date. The bank again refused to help. XX/XX/XXXX I logged into to my mortgage account to discover that my mortgage payment has increased by {$260.00} / month due to insufficient funds in the escrow account. I contacted the bank immediately asking as to why I was not informed of this. They stated information had been sent out in XX/XX/XXXX. I, of course never received this information. I asked why, they said that it was sent to just the ex-spouse 's address. I contacted TD Bank via email, phone, and XXXX regarding this, and am still waiting on a call back from their escalations team. I have spoken to their escalations team in the past and nothing has ever been resolved. Why is the bank allowed to treat me so inequal to the other loaner? We are both obligated to make payments to the bank or they will go after us both. But the bank only communicates and sends refunds to one party! I have excellent payment records but am still treated unfairly by the bank and its staff. Contact dates : XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Plus numerous times on their online messaging system, phone calls, as well as in person at the local branch where the mortgage originates from.

Subissue: Problem accessing account
Consumer Complaint: I opened a company business checking account with TD Bank in early XXXX. My office manager at the time also had a signature on the account. In XXXX, I turned over day to day operations to two others, though maintained my financial interests in the company, of course. Sometime later, unbeknown to me, my signature was removed from the account. The company suffered great losses as a result of flooding resulting from Hurricane Matthew in XXXX and ultimately failed following flooding resulting from Hurricane Florence in XXXX. All paper and computer records were essentially lost although I do have bank statements. In my ensuing attempts to obtain detailed transaction information, especially check payees, in order to complete financial reporting per my fiduciary duty and regulatory requirements, I have been denied by the bank repeatedly in spite of presenting copious evidence of my obvious entitlement to the information. TD Bank states their banking policy requires that account information may only be provided to people with signatures on the account. They have no policy to protect an account holder from having their signature removed from the account without their knowledge or approval. I have provided copious documentation illustrating my ongoing interest in the company. Furthermore, they have been increasingly unresponsive to my inquiries leaving me no other options short of expensive litigation to obtain information I am entitled to. I have been dealing with this for well over a year now, and the delay in filings because of this is no doubt going to result in significant penalties and interest when this is finally resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I set up a new credit line at the I purchased a television through XXXX. The full purchase prices was charged to the account at the time of the original order. When the TV was delivered it was damaged in shipping. I requested a return from XXXX and they had the TV shipped back to them. After receiving the return, XXXX refunded the original purchase to my TD Bank credit line. This took 3 to 4 weeks to complete. I then ordered a replacement TV. During this time, TD bank was reflecting payments due on my credit line even though the TV had been returned to XXXX. They assessed late charges and showed my account past due. I contacted them after receiving a statement saying I was past due. After speaking to them on the phone, they agreed that they would waive any late charges and ensure that no late payments were reported on my credit. The late charges were waived however they have reported delinquency on my credit and are refusing to correct the issue.

Consumer Complaint: I know this is probably small to you but I am a victim of fraud by counterfeit check because TD Bank did not do their job when a fake check with the WRONG routing number which should have been FLAGGED right, away instead, {$1900.00} was stolen/CASHED out of my TD Bank account & I followed all TD Bank protocol to resolve this. There is obvious proof that it is a counterfeit check, wrong routing number, wrong check stock, wrong address, and more, but TD Bank won't give me back my money until they do their investigation. I have auto bill pay for credit cards, etc. bouncing back making me liable for returned items. And all the bank can say to me is " how do they know I didn't have the money go to another bank account '' I feel discriminated against by that statement. Ive been with TD over 10 yrs & never bounced a check or overdrawn. What is the FDIC for? Why do I have to wait to get my money back meanwhile the perpetrator is out there and already spent my money. I am looking into a lawyer about this because little people like me shouldn't have to be broke because a counterfeit check they know that didn't have their routing number should not have passed into being a processed check and taken out of my checking account. I also reported them to the XXXX XXXX XXXX Contact Information : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX Phone- XXXX
