Consumer Complaint: TD Bank double charged me for payments in XXXX and withdrew monies without my authorization XX/XX/XXXX ~ {$430.00}. I paid the total amount due of ~ {$430.00} on or around XX/XX/XXXX and TD credit card charged me again although the balance due on XX/XX/XXXX was XXXX and the amount required was already paid. TD stated they would reverse the error and never did. In addition TD does not report payments and credits in a timely fashion. Charges and debits are posted to my account over XXXX days after the transaction occurred. TD customer service was unwilling to resolve the issue and left my card to be charged by unauthorized users honoring payment even when I had reported my card stolen/lost. TD credit card company is a risk to the consumer with their latent and insecure credit card platforms and finance methodologies which are subpar and below average for a global bank with risks and diverse customers.

Consumer Complaint: My timely mortgage payments were incorrectly applied as " ADDITIONAL PRINCIPAL '' and " MISC RECEIPT ''. As a result, I have been charged multiple late fees and my account was reported delinquent to all 3 credit reports. This caused my XXXX score to drop XXXX points and credit card companies to cut my credit lines. Attempting to get this corrected with TD Bank has been a nightmare. There are two groups involved, the mortgage servicing group and the collections group. They use different computer systems, can not see the same notes and information, can not/ do not talk to each other, and updates on one side can take " several business days '' to be viewed by the other side. The result is a multi-hour phone tag where I am continually transferred from one group to the other. I am repeatedly told by the servicing group that they see my account is still in forbearance, which obviously makes no sense since at the same time they say I have payments due and am delinquent. When I call the collections group, they assure me that there are " notes on the account '' to fix the issue, but they can't actually fix the issue, nor can they tell me when this will be fixed, nor am I allowed to talk to anyone with any authority. I'm fed up with this and it's a waste of my time. This whole issue began because TD Bank changed my mortgage payment 1 month after forbearance ended, which caused my original XXXX payment to be {$40.00} short. ( I thought escrow adjustments were supposed to be made only once per 12 months? ) I didn't know about this adjustment because in the year 2022, TD Bank does not have online mortgage statements. Even though I immediately made the extra {$40.00} payment once informed in XXXX, this still has not been applied and my account remains delinquent in XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: The company that is contacting me is TD Auto Finance. Looking back at call logs, they started calling me back in XXXX XXXX XXXX, but I didn't realize the same number was calling me because I blocked the number. This lasted until sometimes in XXXX, where they started to send me voicemails every month, and I was able to see their caller ID. They told me to contact back XXXX which is apparently their collection agency. The issue is that I never heard of this company before this, and I am in no way associated with them and do not have any account of the sort with them. Even the person 's name that they called me does not match my name. I contacted them at their main general number ( which was used to call me ) at XXXX and the first person I spoke to submitted a request to have my phone number removed from whoever account it is back on XX/XX/XXXX, since I was getting tired of the calls and voicemails. However I received yet another call and voicemail today at XX/XX/XXXX. It is clear that the request did not go through and they will keep spamming me with calls and voicemails every week or so, even if I HAVE NO BUSINESS OF ANY SORT WITH THEM.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I received 2 unsolicited debit XXXX cards from TB Bank. I contacted customer service thru the 888 # listed to activate card and spoke with XXXX to let him know I never applied for these accounts and wanted them cancelled. XXXX wanted my SS # which I will not release. I did give him the 16 digit card number on one of the cards and he stated that this needed forwarded to someone else and they would contact me back in 3 to 5 days. On Friday I received insufficient funds notices on 2 accounts. As of Monday, XX/XX/XXXX I received 3 separate large envelopes containing checks for 3 separate checking accounts. In asking around, I also found that I am not the only one receiving these mailings, cards and checks and notices. The customer service line is XXXX and is basically useless. Reporting this since I do not want any fraudulent activity on my accounts. I have already talked to my personal bank and they are on alert for any unusual activity but this TD Bank needs stopped. My father-in-law receiving the same stuff in mail. STOP TD BANK

Consumer Complaint: TD bank has allowed several accounts to be opened in my name fraudulently. I went into the bank the first time with my id and social security card letting them know it was not me. After that they allowed them to do it again. I have lost hours at work. That is financial abuse to continue to let someone do something like this. Its pure negligence and I am not the only one experiencing this issue its happened to thousands of people recently at TD Bank.
