Consumer Complaint: I opened a store line of credit at Discount Tire to purchase tires. The line of credit is through Synchrony Bank. The loan/credit was opened XX/XX/23 in the amount of {$580.00} to be paid off in 4 months with no interest. The loan was paid off XX/XX/23 and the email states that the account is paid in full and account has been closed. Starting XX/XX/23, I started receiving monthly emails and letters about my pending payments and account balance. I have tried calling Synchrony Bank to fix this, but I just get passed around to different people and no one seems able to solve this problem.

Consumer Complaint: I have a PayPal Credit Card account from Synchrony Bank, and the card was stolen nearly 2 years ago in XXXX XXXX XXXX almost 2 months after I had opened the account. I had reported it immediately and customer service had stated that the card would be locked and that I would receive a replacement within a month. It was never replaced or locked, and PayPal Customer XXXXupport has continually refused to help me with this matter to this day, even to XXXX XXXX that they hang up on me when I try to call them every month. When the card was stolen, I had a {$0.00} balance. Recently, Synchrony Bank has sent me to collections for a {$4200.00} balance which I do not owe as the card was stolen when it had a {$0.00} balance and in the meantime my credit score has dropped from over XXXX points to around XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 received a text message saying I could pay my {$2100.00} bill online. This fraud charge was supposed to be over and the text alert is the way I found out it wasnt. When I called I was told that I needed dates and exact amounts of charges. I explained that I didnt make that I didnt know because I didnt make the charges. Fraud said they would send me copies of every fraudulent charge since XXXX so that I could call back and report each charge fraudulent individually. I never needed that information on the several previous charges I disputed. They also wont stop the late charges from being reported to the credit bureau. So now I have to dispute it with XXXX again. I believe they are retaliating against me for filing the previous complaint.

Consumer Complaint: to whom this may concern, on the date of XX/XX/ i opened a new credit card with Syncrony ( Syncrony car car ) they are to report to all CRA 's on on the date of XXXX each month, However did not report this information of the status of my account on for month XX/XX/. I contacted the office on XX/XX/ the rep stated she would have this resolved however reported the account of the status on what it was on that date of XX/XX/ at XXXX balance. After noticing what happened on the decreased points on my credit file i contacted the reps at Syncrony bank back and advised the following the account was opened on XX/XX/, the reporting of XXXX XXXX never reflecting the balance at the time of {$5.00}. The amount of was paid in between the time i called on XX/XX/. I have advised several time they need to report the corrected amount for the month of XXXX however they are refusing to do so. This is violation of the fair credit act, due to this error my credit has taken a down fall of XXXX points. I have spoke with several reps and nothing has been done about this. due the recent hit on my credit i also was denied a new credit card with syncrony in hopes to do XXXX shopping with Ashley furniture, I have no idea until the sales rep pointed out why. the expectation is that my credit needs to be corrected with the correct information showing activity on XXXX and also XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I was looking for a quote of carpet and moldings for the basement at Lowe 's and provided the sales woman with the sample. In XX/XX/2023 Lowe 's delivered both carpet and moldings, but neither is what I asked for nor does it near the sample I provided. I went to the local Lowe 's store and tried to solve the problem. The store manager refused to solve the problem, and became nasty when he failed to provide a signed copy of contract. The charge on my credit card was total {$2000.00}. I reported to the bank Synchrony for dispute and requested for an investigation multiple times. The bank denied dispute multiple times but failed to provide evidence to support its conclusion.
