Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank was and is in violation of 15 US code 1601, XXXX XXXX Congressional findings and declaration of purpose. It clearly states when I read it that The Congress finds that economic stabilization would be enhanced and the competition among the various financial institutions and other firms engaged in the extension of consumer credit would be strengthened by the informed use of credit. There must be an informed decision for there to be an agreement, and that did not happen. The first thing is that I made an uninformed decision when I entered into this consumer transaction. Congress says in part ( a ) that there must be an informed use of credit, therefore this is a violation, as I made an uninformed decision. Next, in part ( g ) congress says the the person to whom the debt is arising from the consumer credit transaction is initially payable on the face of the evidence of indebtedness, or, if there is no evidence then by agreement. Synchrony is in violation because there is no evidence of indebtedness, only an agreement, and this " agreement '' which is null and void because I made an uninformed decision. I also need to see proof that they suffered a loss or injury from the transaction. I requested that proof and a copy of the 1099C they filed after the charge off. I am concerned there may be tax fraud in addition to consumer protection violations. I have learned that the IRS defines charge offs as income and income isnt supposed to be reported on the consumer report. However, Synchrony is reporting this income on the Credit Reporting Agencies which is in violation. Finally, in part ( K ), Adequate Notice, congress says there must be a printed notice clearly and conspicuously printed so the consumer is reasonably expected to understand. A computer generated notice of legal jargon was not understood by me, it was not clear and conspicuous and this is in violation.

Consumer Complaint: Account is stating incorrectly previously reporting account as collection/derogatory both at the same time with a balance of {$410.00}. There is no way that account can be in derogatory if its in collection already And stating incorrect date less active and date last reported along with date open. Account has too many in accuracies already. I disputed account with XXXX XXXX and XXXX as I do not recall having this account open yet results came back incorrect. Results to my dispute came back stating account open when previously was in collection. How can that be possible?! Payment history was previously not reporting and now experian is reporting consecutive charge off as if it was some sort of payment method payment can not report on a dead account. Date last active is reporting as XX/XX/21 with XXXX while date open is reporting as XX/XX/21 this is a total mistake. There is no possible way that account has recorded the day last active before the account was even open.!

Consumer Complaint: I paid my complete statement, of {$690.00}, 3 times. once on XX/XX/XXXX, and twice on XX/XX/XXXX. The repeated payment was due to rejected status - attachments to prove In the following month, I was notified that y account would be closed due to an excessive number of payments. I have received an electronic message with it but I can not access it anymore via the email sent, nor it is on my Message Center on my profile with the company I have asked the company to revoke this cancellation, stating that I was trying to pay and did so regularly - multiple times even before the due date. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my Amazon Store Credit Card was used to purchase two XXXX gift cards, one for {$70.00} and one for {$44.00}. These purchases were reflected on my XX/XX/XXXX statement. I contacted both XXXX and Synchrony Bank, which processes XXXX charges and payments and advised them that I did not make these purchases. On the same XX/XX/XXXX statement I was given credit for these purchases. See the following pdf file. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX % XXXX. On my XX/XX/XXXX statement from Synchrony Bank I was again billed for these two transactions. I was advised by Synchrony bank that it believed that I had made the purchases as there was no proof that I did not. Its representative advised me to contact the FTC. I did so and was advised that it could not help me and to contact your agency which I am now doing. I did not make these purchases and should not have been charged for them. Please advise.
