Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2022 Synchrony was contacted concerning Generac and Care Credit card ( s ) and was explained my situation of unemployment and no income due to being medically disqualified to continue my 25 year career by a federal agency. I requested auto pay option be stopped as well. I thought my card ( s ) and account would be suspended without penalties due to my situation ( best scenario for everyone involved I thought- two cards had a total of about {$2300.00} ) instead 40 years total of employment and credit building all down the tubes.Documentation was declined/refused and only response I received was " you still have to pay and on time if no penalties '' I reminded them of no income, and the response was " we have a payment plan '' I have one card that I am certain I was paying the extra couple of dollars for insurance and was told " we don't insure our cards '' and one card I was almost one year ahead of paying off per purchase agreement... means nothing apparently. Same as my former employer-punished and penalized for being sick. It's sad that this country has become so sadistic and inhumane and heartless. Every one gets dealt bad situations. Worst part, the people on the opposite end of my situation if they get in a similar situation will expect everything in their favor and it still wouldn't be enough.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2022 I made a monthly Payment to my PayPal world Mastercard ( Synchrony Bank ). They Payment was in the Amount of $ XXXX The Payment did not go threw due to insuffent funds in the account. when I became aware of the problem I transfered the money from my other checking account into the correct account. I then resubmitted my monthly Payment to Paypal World Mastercard. The Payment was Made for the full monthly statement and Paid Ontime. I have then been receiving letters from XXXX Bank stating that They received the Payment that day but the Payment was Returned to my Bank. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) And I Still owe the $ XXXX I have contacted PayPal multiple times reguarding the problem. They say the Payment went through fine. I Have contacted my Bank Multiple times reguarding the problem, They say the Payment went through fine and was NOT Returned like Synchrony Bank is Saying. I have had the Bank Provide me with emails/ Letters Showing the Succesfull Payment with all information needed and requested From Sychrony Bank to Locate the Payment and I still end up with another Letter from XXXX stating that they have not got the Payment. I have Contacted Synchrony Bank countless times On the Phone ( 16+ HRS ), Mail, Their Online Chat Center, and Message center on the PayPal website which keeps track of the Messages. I have opened many Cases with them to resolve the issue And I am Getting no where with them. This has been Going on for 11 Months. I do Not miss any Payments and I hold an XXXX Credit Score. I am at my whits end so I finally contacted a Laywer friend for advice and Was refered to The AG office. PLEASE PLEASE Help me out with this if you can. The Business 's customer service responded multiple times on the phone that their was a Problem on their end and they could see all the Information I had Provided was correct and I was all set and squared away. they said it may take a few days or a week to show on my online statement the corrections. As time went by I had to contact them again because the Problem still existed and was informed over again that I had not made my Payment. I received a letter after every case I have opened with them stating the same thing.

Consumer Complaint: On Wednesday XX/XX/2023 I went to Discount Tire located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OH XXXX. The purpose of the visit was to purchase a new set of four tires. Discount Tire employees ; XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX told me about a promotion in which I can finance the cost of four new tires through a company called Synchrony. Upon application to finance the work ( which was quoted at {$820.00} ) I requested {$830.00}. Synchrony denied the requested amount and offered {$400.00} instead. I declined the amount and did not wish to be issued a line of credit for {$400.00}. On Tuesday XX/XX/2023 I received an email from Synchrony saying a credit card was in the mail for {$400.00}. I called ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX and after much difficulty through the automated system reached a live person to cancel the credit card. Note : A letter from Synchrony arrived on XX/XX/2023 stating the reason for denial was " Insufficient experience at your current credit limit ''. I have no experience with this limit because I have never had an account with Synchrony. This is not a legitimate reason to be denied.

The last activity was a promotion with an expiration date of XX/XX/2021 of which, was paid off early. There were XXXX reward points I was saving and planning to use for specific XXXX services, and now they are saying rewards points were closed when the account was closed. They claim the terms and conditions allow them to do this without notification.
