Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with Synchrony Bank in XX/XX/XXXX. My first payment was due XX/XX/XXXX. I paid {$110.00} on XXXX XXXX. My next payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX. I paid {$120.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I was attempting to make my XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX ( due date is XX/XX/XXXX ) and I was informed my account has a XXXX dollar late fee because I did not make a payment in XXXX. Synchrony bank shows I made a payment of {$120.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, but they did not apply it to my account because I made the payment before a new bill cycle generated. I do not understand why Synchrony Bank wouldn't credit my account for that payment. They are not backing down on this issue and I find it unacceptable. It is my intention to pay this account off under the 6 month with no interest, but I feel that they are attempting to prevent this. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I had been paying a monthly payment on time and more than the minimum amount each month. Now they lowered my credit line which has affected my credit score dropping it by XXXX points. The federal government powers need to begin overseeing these three powerful companies and make them accountable as our credit scores are very challenging in these hard economic times.

Consumer Complaint: My complaint is against Synchrony Bank according to your ruling : https : XXXX I opened a dispute on CareCredit/Synchrony Banks XXXX back XXXX XXXX against XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am attaching files that I submitted to them which are narratives of what happened as follows : CFPBXXXX # XXXX ( These are narratives of what happened divided up so they CFPBXXXX # XXXX ( are small enough to attach. XXXX # XXXX ( XXXX # XXXX ( XXXX # XXXX ( XXXX # XXXX ( The dentist involved can be found with 3 different names : my XXXX appointment was with XXXX XXXX ( which is not now listed in the yellow pages ), XXXX XXXX XXXX ( which is the name my dispute with Synchrony Bank is for ), and XXXX XXXX XXXX ( which recently sent me a text saying I was due to schedule an appointment ). And, the insurance claims they submitted to XXXX is for XXXX XXXX. Im also attaching the following files that show all transactions from the beginning to XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX ( these are monthly Synchrony statements ) XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) .XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) .XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) .XXXX The following files are print outs of Synchrony Banks All Activity summary. The activity is showing my 2 monthly payments, late charges and interest. XXXX XXXX The Explanation of Benefits showing what my insurance paid XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) .pdf I have been carrying this debt ( over {$5000.00} ) for 5 months and it has affected my credit score and my debt to income ratio. Im attaching a file ( XXXX ) that shows as of today, XX/XX/XXXX, a balance of {$5400.00}. They have zeroed the monthly payment again. That balance is for work they NEVER did because I chose not to go back to them. I have spent many, many hours on preparing and sending documents to CareCredit/Synchrony Bank and phone calls to CareCredit/Synchrony Banks XXXX department XXXX They are very non-responsive to disputes. I have also hired an attorney to help with this. I have already paid him over {$1700.00}. For about 2 weeks he made several calls to XXXX XXXX and left messages. They have been completely non-responsive. I believe Im sending enough information to get a complaint started. If CFPB needs more ( like emails etc ) just let me know.
