Consumer Complaint: I don't know why this is showing up on my report. I was offered a line of credit when I was considering dental work years ago but never signed up for anything. This is fraudulent. I did not receive any correspondence about this, never used credit care so why is it even on my report? I don't know anything about this account and I need to be deleted from my credit report. Also the report shows current on payments .... I have never made a single payment to this company so again this is completely inaccurate.

Consumer Complaint: This account is still pending a response. I have responded to Synchrony Bank as requested by email or mail. Email was my choice being that I have sent many letters to the company, and it is has become very costly. I still have not received a response back as of the day since I responded back to them. I have provided all necessary documents and pictures of information sent to company, was sent out in this email. Below was my response to email. If needed all documents will be uploaded in another complaint. Thanks! Hi, I have sent multiple letters and copies of verification of the negotiable instruments sent in to set-off this account. Synchrony Bank has failed to give reason of why, it was not credited to the account, and havent made any adjustments. It was even stated to me that they didnt receive the negotiable instrument, but they received the letter that came with it. The negotiable instrument meets all requirements according to the negotiable instrument act XXXX. NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT ACT HJR XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX trade and endorsement of the bill of XXXX XXXX XXXX Enclosed are the copies of the negotiable instruments, and letters sent to the XXXX and XXXX of SYNCHRONY BANK on XXXX XXXX and Synchrony Home.

Consumer Complaint: Dispute start on : XXXX XXXX XXXX EDT but have not had a response on this issue. I have been told someone at Synchrony would get back to me within 7 to 10 business days multiple times. No response as of yet. I have followed up multiple times. Issue stems from not receiving billing statements over the past 9 months on paper or electronically. Online statements are not available and have raised this as a concern. I agreed to terms to have electronic statements but those statements are not available online.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement

Consumer Complaint: There was a car rental in XXXX where I was given a different car than what I purchased for the rental. This was after the contract was filled. I have tried for years to get XXXX to properly investigate and credit me for this. They always say they will respond, they are checking, they are reviewing, but they double-billed me for a charge that should have NO billing at all. They are breaking their own T+C, and the law, by aiding and abetting criminal fraud ( the rental counter took my card without my consent to ring up the charge ) in order to increase their profits and " mitigate risk. '' They have also deleted private messages I have shared with XXXX about this, which is illegal as they then say they never received my messages. But I have screenshots. Anyone else who has been through this issue can feel free to contact me to discuss.

Consumer Complaint: Deferred Interest promotion with XXXX 's was not upfront about the way balance would be paid. Instead of the payments always going toward the first balance, they split the payments making it so the promotion would expire and you would acrue 28 % interest starting at the beginning of the loan. If you wanted to allocate a certain way then you would have to call them but verbiage makes it seem like you would only need to do that if you wanted to change the way it was being charged. We did not use the card for at least the first year so there was no reason the think that our budgeted payments would not be sufficient. Payments should be first in first paid unless requested otherwise, not " reallocate where we want unless you tell us otherwise ''. Statements are not intuitive and not transparent and XXXX 's employees were not clear. This is a shady practice that is meant to catch people off-guard instead of making the process comsumer friendly.

Consumer Complaint: Lowes credit card. Someone used my number to purchase items and gift cards at a store on the other side of the USA. In the state of Carolina. I live in XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX I work in southern XXXX and XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX. The Lowes credit card department Verified my identity and then told me that they are canceling the account number and sending me a new card. And that it was being submitted to their fraud department and that I am NOT responsible for the over {$1500.00} charges. I am receiving the emails and texts for Payments Due. I have made calls to find out the status and I am getting the run around regarding this issue/investigation. I am very protective of my CREDIT. I was told today to PAY the amounts for now. I asked why I have to pay {$1500.00} to just sit while they investigate?!. I was transferred and transferred. On hold for 20 minutes. I thought that I must have been forgotten about. I hung up and I called back. Asked for the fraud department and as of this written submission I have been on hold for 65 minutes!!!! OVER AN HOUR. On hold. No one returning to the phone line. I will hang up and PAY the MINIMUM DUE AMOUNT today to protect/preserve my credit. I NEED HELP. Thank you. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I received an umprompted call from a caller claiming to be from Synchrony Bank. I had recently opened a savings account with Synchrony Bank. They asked for personal information including answers to my security questions. Because I had not reached out to Synchrony Bank and had no reason to believe the caller was actually from Synchrony Bank, I declined to provide security information to the caller on the phone. After I declined, I logged into my account for Synchrony Bank and saw that my account was restricted. This was around XXXX XXXX XXXX. I reached out to Synchrony Bank and they assured me this issue would go away within 2-3 days. I have logged in periodically to check to see if my account restriction is removed and reached out to Synchrony Bank customer service twice and have been told that there is now a second review and they can't give me a timeline as to when they will remove the restriction. I have never experienced this from any financial institution. Synchrony Bank should not be calling consumers unsolicited and asking for private security information, and then locking their accounts indefinitely when they don't want to give information out to strangers over the phone. I informed Synchrony Bank that I'm an XXXX and will be closing my account with them as soon as I can finally get access to my funds. I want my funds unrestricted so I can withdraw my money and close my account. Thank you. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: There were so many issues with these cards from the very beginning and Ill do my best to itemize them out so they make sense : 1. I applied for a credit purchase for an XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX during the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with Mattress Firm on XX/XX/XXXX. I worked with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) who confirmed the chair would be delivered in a few weeks to the address provided. XXXX confirmed payments for the chair would not happen until delivery of the chair was confirmed. 2. XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter in the mail that I was denied credit for the purchase and would not receive anything. 3. Around 2 weeks later ( XX/XX/XXXX or so ), 2 separate Mattress Firm cards were delivered to my home, one ending in XXXX, & the other ending in XXXX, both for the same XXXX XXXX XXXX. I registered my account and set them both on autopay. 4. After registering my account through the Synchrony portal, I saw the cards were somehow already over their limit, which immediately negatively impacted my credit. XXXX was approved for {$4000.00}, however the account showed a balance of {$4500.00}. XXXX was approved for {$5000.00}, however the account showed a balance of {$5300.00}. I called and the representative told me there was nothing she could do and to reach out to Mattress Firm directly. I called XXXX, who I made the purchase through, with no response. 5. After a failed delivery attempt on XX/XX/XXXX, the chair was not delivered until the beginning of XXXX. My 1st payment was due XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX. I submitted my payment for XXXX for {$110.00}, and for XXXX the entire amount of the card was debited from my account = {$4200.00} on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I called and the rep transferred me to a " manager '' who offered me a check for the full amount and assured me the debits will not continue. She confirmed there was an error in their system where autopay 's were defaulting to fully charged amounts. She apologized and offered to send me a check for the full amount. In fact, shortly after my 1st payment and the mistaken charged off payment Synchrony closed my 2 accounts on XX/XX/XXXX, with no explanation. 6. The check arrived and since the debit deleted, I didn't deposit it. However, over the next few months, my account continued to randomly go negative for the {$4200.00} amount and I called at least multiple times requesting resolution to this situation. I called at least 7x and was immediately disconnected. I called back and was unable to get to a manager as they allegedly are unable to provide direct numbers. I didn't want to make payments on the account when they were continuing to debit my account for fear of overpaying. Plus the account had been closed, so I honestly didn't know what to do as none of my concerns were addressed and my credit was continuing to be affected ; not only by the overcharged accounts, but now for missed payments, late fees and interest. 7. In XXXX, I called and spoke to a lady who was finally helpful and confirmed with all the issues she would dispute the affects to my credit and would ensure they were fixed. This way I can make normal payments. No such update has been made on my credit. 8. I also had a JC Penny card XXXX through Synchrony with perfect payment history which was closed on the same day for no reason. They are not associated in anyway and I asked for resolution of this as well, no assistance was received. 9. I have called Synchrony at least 30x since XXXX XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX trying to maneuver their systems to get to someone who can assist and they all either disconnect the call, forcing me to endure all the prompts all over again, or they say they will send me to a manager who tells me they are unable to assist me.
