Consumer Complaint: Hello there, I initially sent this message with a previous report but PayPal responded and let me know that their issuing bank Synchrony Bank is the one reporting to the credit bureau. A little back story, I opened my PayPal Mastercard credit card sometime in XXXX of this year and I was told that my statement closing was the on the XXXX or XXXX of every month depending on how long the month was. On XX/XX/2023 Synchrony Bank/PayPal reported my balance of {$510.00} before my statement date for the month which was the XXXX of XX/XX/2023 and later corrected it the reduced balance ( never reached out to the bureaus ). Normally I pay down my balance before my statement hits ( I have 8 credit card and this is what I do for everyone of them and have had no issues with them ), I got notifications from XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX that I had a high balance on my paypal. I immediately contacted paypal, told them about this and they apologized and promised to fix this issue. Its been over 60 days and this issue was never fixed on XXXX and XXXX. I lost XXXX points on XXXX and XXXX but XXXX fixed the issue the very next day. Every time I contact paypal about this issue its been one excuse or the other and not one person has been helpful, not even the manager or supervisors I have spoken to. In fact, the customer service has been really bad as Ive had PayPal CSR shout on me and place me on endless holds. Today XX/XX/ they did the exact same thing which took a huge toll on my credit scores on all bureaus except XXXX because it hasnt reported it yet but, Im sure thered be a ding on it as well. I am financially very responsible and do my very best to make sure my credit scores are excellent on every credit bureau, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Its just really frustrating and annoying when an organization is choosing to sabotage my hard work and at this point I dont know what to do. Id really appreciate it if something can be done about this since Synchrony bank/PayPal is completely incompetent and has refused to do their job. My XXXX XXXX XXXX scores are a mess right now thanks to them. Id like for all the points I lost to be replaced to my scores. What is the point of having a statement date if they keep reporting to the credit bureaus whenever they please. It means in essence Im not supposed to use my credit card, whats the point of having one if they keep doing this. Ive also attached a bunch of pictures and documents showing proof of everything I talked about, thank you so much for your help and I look forward to hearing from someone on the team. Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: I opened a PayPal credit line to purchase a laptop on XXXX. It was an interest free promotion for 6 months. On the first statement from them, I noticed two interest charges added to my balance. I called and questioned it and they waived them. I got a second statement from them and they charged interest again. When I asked why this continues to happen, the agent declined to provide any explanation and refused to refund the most recent interest charge of {$4.00}, which is why I am contacting the CFPB for resolution.

I explained to them multiple times now that I am disputing charges with the merchant who committed malpractice and falsified medical records. I spent over XXXX on XXXX bills trying to correct merchant negligence and malpractice. My dog had to undergo two XXXX XXXX. I attached the witness statement from another XXXX and two distinct sets of records that the merchant falsified, I also explained that the service was not provided as agreed and Care Credit sent the same response from the merchant dated XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I initiated a transfer of {$100000.00} thru synchrony bank from my XXXX bank account to open a CD with synchrony bank on XXXX XXXX. My XXXX bank account shows the money was withdrawn on that day. On the same day ( XXXX XXXX ) that synchrony received the money they had also closed the XXXX that the money was going to. Since there was no account for the money to go to synchrony was sending the money back to my XXXX account. as of XXXX XXXX XXXX that money has not been returned. I have made numerous calls to both XXXX and Synchrony regarding this situation. At first I was told by Synchrony the money would be in my account within 5 to 7 business days. then 4 more days then tomorrow. The next information I got was the money was being held by XXXX XXXX, that handles the ACH transfers for Synchrony. XXXX would not speak to me about this issue and would not confirm that they were holding the money. I had asked XXXX on several occasions, at the direction of synchrony to do a Debit Reversal, however, on a conference call with myself, XXXX and XXXX we were told that XXXX would not talk to XXXX about this matter because there were not a client of XXXX. Synchrony continues to insist that there is nothing they can do and that XXXX has to retrieve the funds which they can not. At this time Synchrony is not returning calls to me or providing information when I call them. Each bank tells me the other bank has to retrieve the money and there isn't any more they can do. For the past 30 days I have repeatedly tried to get both banks to get involved with finding this money to no avail. There is NO where for me to go to resolve this matter if neither bank is willing to, Yet my {$100000.00} is still missing and earning no interest.

Upon determining said coins were fake I contacted FBI who referred me to local police dept. & I filed a report ( XXXX XXXX, Fl. XXXX. Synchrony Bank, dba PayPal Credit refuses to secure said report & accordingly isnt attempting to recoup {$220.00} from their banking contact, as per Consumer Credit Act. Consumer Complaint: When the loan repayment started it wasn't a way to pay for the loan due to you having to have a account number and I wasn't sent that information. So finally after 2 months the system change supposedly where you did not need an account number and a text was sent to provide a payment link by then according to their system I had already owned in which you was not a way to make the payment therefore the late payment should not be shown and I asked them to remove.
