Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX contact credit card company this month requested a credit line increase since I had payment XXXX months of excellent payment history. I have {$1700.00} available credit at that time and company ran my credit inquiry and my score dropped because of that credit Inquiry and removed my available credit. I did not authorized had no knowledge that my credit was been pulled and my credit score dropped I contacted the credit card company and was told customer credit are ran often. I was discriminated against for retaliation from previous complaint filed and company ruined my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card with Lowes that I signed up for as part of promotion when I bought a fridge. I have 24-months to pay off the fridge with credit card. Lowes outsources the credit card Synchrony bank to manage the credit card. I had no problem for several months but when I attempted to pay on XX/XX/XXXX it didn't go through. It looked successful on their online portal, so I didn't think anything was wrong until I got an email notification saying my payment was past due. This surprised me so I was logged in to see what was happening on XX/XX/XXXX and it said " rejected ''. I DID recently change checking account numbers, right around that time, so I assumed once they tried to draw the account from my old checking account it had rejected. So i added the new bank details ( which showed successful online ) and then paid the new amount due + the past due amount that didn't process XX/XX/XXXX. Posted successfully for {$150.00}. Then again I receive a call ( today XX/XX/XXXX ) saying payment is past due and they trying to collect a debt. I look online and again the payment is rejected. I look at bank account details ( they are correct ) and I see other companies are drawing money out of this new checking account ( no problem with bank ). So why the problem? I tried to call the company but they told me the payment did process ( showed rejected online and no XXXX XXXX drawn out of my account ). When I pressed on this, they were unhelpful. I asked to transfer to supervisor but they said they couldn't - system was down and just said " call back later ''. They eventually just hung up on me instead of resolving the issue. my main concern is being sent to collections by this company even though I've tried to pay them twice and they were unhelpful in making sure I'm successful with that. Very rude and unhelpful customer service.

Consumer Complaint: In early XXXX I opened up a Sams Club CC which is issued by and administered by Synchrony bank. My card was used to fuel my XXXX and when the payment was made the payment was made for XXXX too little. I saw the error and contacted Synchrony and was told that the issue was resolved by credits being issued to my account. This was never done. Due to being away and ill it was not until XXXX that during a mortgage refinance that my mortgage broker discovered that my credit report showed the account as delinquent. I again called Synchrony this time asking to speak to a supervisor. Calls are recorded so I thought that that would help. No such luck. I stayed on the phone while the advisor one by one reversed the charges. However they were called writeoffs or similar which impacted my credit score. I spent 25 years in the XXXX XXXX XXXX and this incompetence harmed me greatly. My credit score had always been north of XXXX and typically in the XXXX range or better. A XXXX point drop is unacceptable. As a XXXX person I rely on credit, apps, phones and the internet to be my lifeline to the outside world. I previously filed a complaint with the CFPB and XXXX XXXX called me from Synchrony Bank. I did return the call but never heard back. I have since called twice but never heard back. I also called Synchrony Bank as well as Sams club numerous times to get this issue resolved. Not one person has taken ownership nor has shown the inclination, courtesy, compassion or kindness to help me. Due to this discrimination I am unable to secure credit at stores where Synchrony owns the credit business thus costing me money by preventing me from taking advantage of discounts, 0 % interest offers etc. Synchrony Bank needs to be held accountable.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a dining table set on XX/XX/XXXX and it was scheduled to come on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a text from the warehouse XXXX that the tables they had in stock were damaged so I called him back and told him I only wanted the chairs delivered. Only my chairs were delivered and not the table that I made in the same order. I made the payment for the chairsXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX told me to drop the dispute so that they could refund me the amount for the table. They told me on XX/XX/XXXX that they would refund the amount of my table in XXXX days of {$1900.00}. When I inquired about the refund 14 days later, they alleged that they already refunded me on XX/XX/XXXX but that is not being reflected on my credit card statement and my credit card account does not show any statements for XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX and Synchrony bank have been giving me the run around for almost a year now and I am tired. Additionally they are running up late fees and ruining my credit. I should not be responsible for the thief that never delivered my table and they should be conducting an internal investigation as to why my table was never delivered and why they can not provde documented proof of my refund.

I called Synchtony bank and agreed that I will close this account and start making fixed monthly payments until the account is paid off. In return, Synchrony will not charge me interest or late fees. However, for the month of XXXX, I was charged {$840.00} of interest. I called Synchrony bank to reverse this charged, but they refused to reverse it claiming that the charge was accumulated interest on promotional balance.

Consumer Complaint: I currently have a PayPal rewards Mastercard issued through Synchrony Bank and have over XXXX redeemable cash points but both companies/business 's will not find a solution on how to distribute to me. I've been going back and forth for over a month getting bounced around to different representatives with the same result and both companies take no responsibility and blame the other company. I've attempted to speak with supervisors and they've opened tickets to resolve but the ticket gets closed with no resolution. The points are set to expire XX/XX/2023 and I don't want to lose the cash value due to the large amount of points.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday XX/XX/2023 somehow I was approved for PayPal credit account for XXXX XXXX credit limit. While trying to figure out how to work and use the account I noticed PayPal had fraudulently had suspicious activity charged in the amount of over {$700.00} but wouldnt explain that. And I havent used PayPal in many years probably more than XXXX. As I continued to set up this account I could never access and use any of the credit limit. After verifying bank account debit cards my license ID EMAIL i attempted to pay for my services it stopped me and wanted to verify my phone number to make sure it was actually me. However it wouldnt allow me to go past that saying the number wasnt supported. I spent over XXXX hours making phone calls the customer service reps were rude. Hanging up on me kept sending me to dead end automated calls. They made me verify info about XXXX times it was a complete joke to the company. Made me listen to XXXX options and I only speak XXXX. Once they had all verifiable information I could no longer do anything with the account. I cant even remove my bank information they are COMPLETELY FRAUDULENT.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of the XXXX XXXX breach I filed a claim it was approved but nothing has been done no monitoring no reimbursement for money I spent to try and fix the damage caused to me. They're inquiries on my credit that were not initiated by me and when I informed XXXX of the issue they refused to correct it. it is an ongoing battle with XXXX to keep an accurate XXXX report on me. currently, there are several XXXX accounts on my credit report though I have only had one account ending in XXXX. I've filed several disputes and they remain on my credit profile, no other XXXX credit card was ever mailed to me or was ever in my position. Between XXXX and Synchrony Bank, my consumer right continues to be violated. see attached
