Consumer Complaint: I received notice from SPS servicing about possible referral for legal action.. I immediately email XXXX as direct on the notice. Stating I appeal my case. And also Called the company to request a call from my relationship manager. Never received a call. I then placed another call on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to a representative whom stated she will have someone call me back and gave me a quote of just over XXXX XXXX to be paid by XX/XX/XXXX. Therefore, XX/XX/XXXX I paid XXXX XXXX through money Pay at XXXX as directed by sps. After never receiving a call from sps. I called again XX/XX/XXXX. Spoke to another rep whom stated to paid a little over {$1900.00} by XX/XX/XXXX. I told her no problem I would pay it the following Tuesday. On XX/XX/XXXX I finally received a call from a representative whom stated she was my relationship manager and to pay XXXXXXXX XXXX Tuesday and my account will be all clear. While speaking with the relationship manger I paid XXXX XXXX She assured me she was noting my account and she will contact me Friday XX/XX/XXXX. I never Received this call. However. XX/XX/XXXX I check my messages and I have a call from pay center stating my XXXX. Paid on XX/XX/XXXX was rejected by sps and please return to XXXX to request a refund. I guess Im definitely confused seeming its not XX/XX/XXXX and the amount was paid in full by XX/XX/XXXX 10 days ahead of the requested date. I have tried reaching back to this company and havent had a response yet. Also, my mortgage was supposedly transferred once the previous company had a class action suit against them from not properly obtain homeowners insurance but charging for it. After I questing my escrow balance. Seeming if they never paid into the homeowners insurance. I shouldve had an escrow credit. I then landed with SPS servicing. Im kindly asking for this situation to be addressed immediately and report my mortgage as current with all reporting bureaus. Thank you kindly.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX as I was checking my credit report, my score went down from an XXXX to XXXX. There are XXXX mortgage providers for the exact same note collecting at the same time. Please note the Credit Report Attached. XXXX XXXX XXXX failed to let m know that they transferred the note in XXXX of XXXX and collected payment to date ( XX/XX/XXXX ). Select Portfolio Services failed to give me notice as the new lender and sent it to the XXXX Address and not my mailing address in XXXX XXXX. Select Portfolio hasn't provided any valid documents to prove they bought it and transferred it via what was recorded at the Assessor 's office. Both providers are collecting at the same time putting my status in a Foreclosure status while collecting payment.

Consumer Complaint: My XXXX took out a second mortgage on this house in 2008 with XXXX XXXX XXXX. Select portfolio services bought I am assuming the second mortgage from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I threaten me with foreclosure on my house if I didnt pay up. I made an agreement that I would pay set amount am I cant be satisfied which they agreed. After I filled my part of the deal they told me I still had an outstanding balance of almost {$7000.00}. They keep calling me harassing me threatening me to take me back to court. They really took me once almost took my house. Thats why I made the agreement now they doing it again with lawyers. they keep blaming letters making calls with threats and pressuring me. Now this second loan was done in 2008. I believe the statue limitations were way overdue. I made a payment. Ive almost {$7000.00} so I can resolve this issue but they keep pursuing the matter is very harassing. To receive calls throughout the day and letters every other day. I never consented four select portfolio services to take over the dead.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I was laid off from my very lucrative job in the commercial real estate field. Ive been in the commercial real estate field since graduating from college, and as such Ive been able to generate a nice income for my family. Therefore, when this unfortunate turn of events occurred, it negatively affected my life and the life of my family in the following ways : My entire 401K was depleted in order to pay my mortgage and living expenses I continued to pay my mortgage until my 401K was depleted After my 401K was depleted, I was using my credit cards to buy groceries and other necessities My credit score plummeted to a very low score After I lost my job in XX/XX/XXXX, looking for a job became my fulltime job. I got up every morning, worked out, went to Mass and then came home to my home office and scoured the Internet for jobs. I tapped into former co-workers, friends, church members and professional organizations for any job leads. Pretty soon, it was a year and I still had not secured a replacement job, a year turned into 2 years and 2 years turned into 3.5 years. Finally, I was able to secure a job in XXXX XXXX, but the job paid more than half of what I made 3.5 years ago. I was devastated, but I knew that I had to accept this position such that I could get back into the market, which would eventually lead me, closer to what I was previously making 3.5 years earlier. After being with this organization for 9 months, I was able to secure a better job making more money, but it still does not equate to what I was making before. Throughout all of this very difficult time, Ive tried to remain very hopeful and to keep up a strong front for my son, who is very smart. If I were to lose my property, it would be devastating to me and my family because we would not have a place to live as I do not have anyone to rely on, I would lose my job, my son would have to quit college and I would be devastated to the point of no return. Therefore, I am looking for a chance to have my loan re-evaluated based on my current income such that I can afford my payments and pay my obligations to the Lender. The above letter ( sent in XXXX ) is one of many letters that I wrote to my mortgage company ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to save my home. I was ignored. I tried to work with XXXX XXXX XXXX starting when my 401K was depleted. I wrote the letter below to them, but they did not work with me. I tried everything to save my home that we purchased in XX/XX/XXXX. I was so desperate ; I went to a company claiming that they would work with my mortgage company to save my home. I paid them $ XXXX only for them to take my money and run. I filed for bankruptcy, but it still did not save my home because my bankruptcy was not accepted. When I finally secured a new job, I sent SPX my mortgage payment every month and every month, they would return the check to me uncashed. XXXX sold my mortgage to US Bank National Association, to which I also tried to work with them to refinance my loan for me to save my home. They would not work with me. The worst day of my life happened on XX/XX/XXXX, wherein my house was foreclosed, and I was ordered to vacate my home of 21 years in 10 days. This was impossible to do as we had accumulated a lot of possessions in 21 years. I begged and begged for an extension, to which I was initially denied the extension. But later, they finally gave me an extension to XX/XX/XXXX, which I obliged. I feel that my family was not given any consideration when trying to save our home by Select Portfolio Servicing and US Bank National Association. I will file a separate complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX. My complaint against US Bank National Association is that they resold my home for $ XXXX, but I was not given the surplus money from the sale as my mortgage balance was less than the amount that the house sold for in XX/XX/XXXX. When I reached out to them for the paperwork, I was ignored. I would like the surplus funds to be sent to me after this devastating event in my life. I have not fully recovered from this incident as that home was supposed to be my forever home. We worked long and hard for that home. I am seeking counseling due to this horrible situation.

Consumer Complaint: I am filing a complaint against Select Portfolio Servicing as they blatantly did not work with me to keep my home of 18 years. In XXXX, I wrote to SPS to ask them for a load modification after losing my job in XXXX. I paid my mortgage until my 401K was depleted, to which I reached out to SPS in desperation. The agents lead me on and then foreclosed my home. I am still in counseling due to this devastating event of losing my home, depleting my 401K, and having my credit score plummet. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX with no retirement savings and I don't own a home due to my credit score. SPS subsequently sold my mortgage to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, to which they foreclosed my home. I have already filed a complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the surplus money owed to me after the sale of my home in XX/XX/XXXX. See attached emails.

Consumer Complaint: My father passed away XX/XX/2021 The mortgage was in his name and the payments were on the hero 's act, so no payments were being made. When he passed I was named the successor, Sent the bank the documents from probate, they refused them ( Confusing even the probate Judges and staff ) they opened 12 cases and kept closing them ( stall tactics ) NOW I am in loss mitigation and the foreclosure is suspended meanwhile they are actively having their Attorney move forward with the foreclosure in Superior court ( DOCKET NO : XXXX ) they are doing what is known as Dual tracking and it is not only prohibited by the CFPB it is also illegal.

Consumer Complaint: This is my second complaint on this company on the same issue. I have called this loan servicer, Select Portfolio Servicing Inc to apply {$330.00} that I pay monthly towards principal. I asked that they leave a note in my account so that their accounts receivable department will see it and act accordingly. They refused and continue to give the same excuse that my payment was through bill pay. I complained to CFPB. They went back and adjusted my payment instead of leaving it in unapplied account that doesn't yield any interest that time. I just received my statement and again, it's showing {$990.00} in unapplied account. Non interest yielding unapplied account ( That's three months worth of {$330.00} ). Even though I pay them 4.87500 % interest. I called again and asked why can't they follow simple instruction. They gave me the same excuse. I had a loan that I paid off with them in the past and they were able to do what I've been asking them in one phone call with that loan. Why it's so difficult for them to do now is beyond me and continue to cost me money.

Consumer Complaint: I own three properties ( escrow account set up for all three ) that are serviced by XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, for XXXX XXXX ( lender ) : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX. One out of the three properties was transferred ( including the escrow account ) to SPS Select Portfolio Servicing in XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX when the property taxes were due to XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC ; SPS Select Portfolio Servicing paid out the property taxes for all THREE properties ( in the amounts of {$3400.00} and {$3300.00} and {$3200.00} ) although they are only servicing one property ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX )! So, the escrow account of the one property that they are servicing for me went up XXXX to cover for the taxes that were erroneously paid out for the other two properties ( {$3300.00} and {$3200.00} ). This resulted in my monthly payment going up by {$800.00} ( about 30 % more than what I am supposed to pay ). This problem has been lingering for almost 6 months now. I have had countless calls with SPS Select Portfolio Servicing, and they keep telling me that they are working on resolving this issue. In the meantime, XXXX XXXX XXXX department, XXXX, NC has reimbursed SPS Select Portfolio Servicing the erroneous tax overpayments ( {$3300.00} and {$3200.00} ). I have called SPS Select Portfolio Servicing several times for them to adjust the escrow account of that one property they're servicing for me, with monies that was sent back by XXXX XXXX XXXX department, XXXX, NC. However, they keep extending the resolution date by 30 days claiming they are working on resolving the issue. I have already sent them documentation of each property, and each has a different parcel number, a different street address, and also provided them evidence that the property taxes of two of the properties ( {$3300.00} and {$3200.00} ) have been paid by the rightful servicer : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, for XXXX XXXX ( lender ). They don't seem to be able to resolve this issue and keep pushing out the date for resolution. The last letter I received from them was on XX/XX/XXXX and they are asking for another extension of 30 days to resolve the problem. I would like to file an official complaint for SPS Select Portfolio Servicing. Thank you for your consideration.

Consumer Complaint: I pay the insurance and taxes on my house. There is no escrow. My insurance company decided to pull out of the area in XX/XX/XXXX. I had to find new insurance and given the tight market I was only able to obtain insurance through XXXX. They however required a new roof as well as other updates and I was not able to get coverage while these updates were being done. I contacted the insurance department of my servicer select portfolio servicing and requested a forced place policy be imposed. I was told no such policy could be issued as there was an extensive process which would take time. I was able to get a liability policy and once the updates were completed I bound the XXXX policy. I was however subjected to a 30 day wait period.. as of XX/XX/XXXX when I purchased the policy with XXXX select portfolio did not impose a forced place insurance policy. However once they received the new policy I sent ti them, they charged me for a forced place policy all the way back to XXXX of XXXX even though there was no policy in place at that time they back dated the effective date of the policy, the charge for which showed up on my XX/XX/XXXX mortgage statement and not on any of the prior months mortgage statements. I don't think this should be allowed. I paid them in full but would like to get my mon XXXX y back. Please help
