Consumer Complaint: On or about XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX paid off my XXXX XXXX home Mortgage without my knowledge or understanding. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX paid off my mortgage and then transferred it too Select Portfolio Servicing , inc . Upon further investigation XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX did this deceptive act of paying off and transferring my mortgage after they were found guilty in XXXX by a Federal Judge. In regards to the HAMP loan modification scandal. XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage unlawfully denied XXXX or more families of the HAMP loan modification, whom qualified. Over XXXX families lost their homes. While the reminder had their mortgages unlawfully restructured by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am one the above victims whos mortgages was unlawfully restructured. It is believed XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX did this deceptive act in order to hide or disguise their illegal actions committed against me on XX/XX/XXXX by denying me a HAMP loan modification. Also for illegally restructuring my XXXX XXXX against federal guidelines regarding FHA home mortgages. It is also further believed that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX did this deceptive act as a way to avoid repayment monies owed to me for illegally raising my interest rate. To avoid reimbursement for damages that occurred because of their crimes. To avoid future lawsuits regarding their illegal actions committed against me. An to avoid reinstatement of my original XXXX XXXX mortgage which they attempted to foreclose on in XXXX. It is also believed XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage did these deceptive acts to keep the illegally obtained money they received from me and continue to receive from me regarding their crimes committed against me and others. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau complaint regarding crime is # XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX used Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc to put false and misleading information on all three of my credit reports to hide that I was unlawfully overpaying on my mortgage from XX/XX/XXXX til present because of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX crimes committed against me on this same date. Because of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Select Portfolio Servicing , Inc . false credit reporting, criminal acts and deceptive actions I was unable to purchase a new home, refinance my mortgage, nor repair damage caused by their crimes. After XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX paid off my XXXX XXXX mortgage without my knowledge or understanding. And transferred the fictitious mortgage I have been paying since XX/XX/XXXX til present to Select Portfolio Servicing inc. Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc has been falsely reporting to the three credit bureaus. Select Portfolio Servicing , Inc has stated and continues to state I have numerous missed and late payments. They have given false statements of amounts owed regarding principal and paid off XXXX XXXX mortgage. Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc and XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage. With criminal and deceptive intent has grossly violated the truth in lending Act. Their actions have destroyed my credit history. It has falsely slandered my good name. It has denied me the ability to get a new home for my family. I cant refinance my mortgage. I had hindered me in finding another job. And theirs actions have caused me financial harm and has created enormous amounts for my family and myself. To also add further insult to injury. I have knowledge and started to report an individual whom aided XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage in defrauding me in XXXX and XXXX to the XXXX County District Attorneys office. In addition Select Portfolio Servicing , Inc. has not sent me my XXXX interest statement. Also to hide these facts XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent the cashiers check that was owed to me because unlawful loan modification action. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent the check to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY. This is not my address it belongs to my family/friend. This address neither XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX nor Select Portfolio Servicing , Inc . have on file for me at all. Lastly Select Portfolio recently cashed an escrow check for the full amount requested, yet they still raised my mortgage.

Consumer Complaint: I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO WORK WITH MY MORTGAGE LENDER FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS. AFTER MY MANY ATTEMPTS THEY GAVE ME A REPAYMENT PLAN AND I PAID OVER {$3000.00} FOR 12 MONTHS. MY COUNSELOR XXXX SPOKE TO THEM AND WAS ADVISED THAT AFTER 12 MONTHS I COULD SUBMIT FOR ANOTHER REPAYMENT PLAN TO CONTINUE PAYING THE REMAINING BALANCE THAT IS DUE. I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY HOME BECAUSE THEY MISLED ME ON MY PREVIOUS PLAN. ALL THAT I AM ASKING IS THAT THEY GIVE ME ANOTHER PLAN TO GET CURRENT. When we contacted our lender we were advised that they anticipate 30-60 days for refund of our escrow account. My understanding is that under Regulation X mortgage lenders have up to 20 business days for such refunds. The lenders response in light of this seems unreasonable to say the least.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to Select Portfolio, Inc. to request specific itemized information about the accounting and servicing of the mortgage and of my need for understanding and clarification of various charges, credits, debits, transactions, actions, payments, analyses and records related to the servicing of the loan from its inception to the present date of my deceased mother XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also request that you conduct your own investigation and audit of my account since its inception to validate the debt you claim I owe you is accurate to the XXXX. Please do not rely on previous servicers or originators assurances or indemnity agreements and refuse to conduct a full audit and investigation of my account. To insure this, I have authorized a thorough review, examination, accounting and audit of the mortgage loan # XXXX. Consumer Complaint: SPS forbearance was put in place from XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX due to XXXX and my two XXXX shut down. I got XXXX XXXX and was hospitalized. One of my credit cards was payed off by the debtor because my doctor filled out a form memorializing my hospital stay from XXXX XXXX. XXXX came around and COVID restricitons were still in place and my income was still diminished. I asked SPS to extend the forebearance. They sent me RMA forms to fill out, and requested other documents. XXXX all forms and documents requested were emailed to SPS. In XXXX they requested a XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. During this time, I received XXXX from the CARES Act payable to SPS . SPS shredded the check. SPS rep 's told me they couldn't accept the money because my home is in preforeclosure. XXXX XXXX, my accountant prepared the XXXX XXXX XXXX for the previous XXXX months and that was emailed along with bank statements for the same time period. I called SPS all through XXXX, stating why am I getting preforeclosure letters, I am waiting for three months to go by to send you the requested documents. Sometime in XXXX, SPS filed foreclosure documents. I never got a letter or the foreclosure documents. I had no idea they filed that. Advertisements from law firms alterted me. I ended up hiring a firm. I filled out another XXXX form, sent in more bank statements and another XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. During the entire time requesting a loan modification, along with hiring an attorney, SPS is marching forward with a foreclosure and the sale date which is now XX/XX/XXXX. My business is back to grossing XXXX a month. My income from that amount is roughly XXXX a month. My credit is ruined because I couldn't make my monthly usual credit card payments. XX/XX/XXXX, I got another letter from SPS requesting I fill out another XXXX form. SPS has zero interest in me not losing my home. They are intentionally burying me with document requests while the foreclosure department is ontrack to take my home. I just want to start paying my mortgage again. SPS will not accept any money from me. My relationship manager at SPS and it's legal department are not on the same page. One hand does not talk to the other hand. I was never late on my mortgage payment prior to XXXX. SPS informed me if I pay XXXX I can start paying my mortgage again. The XXXX incudes interest and fees from XX/XX/XXXX, which is from when the forebearance began. I didn't make any money from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I was put on medicaide and received food stamps plus got a LHEAP grant of {$500.00} for my elctric. This company is unscrupulous and intentionally deceitful with it's actions.

Consumer Complaint: I fell behind on my mortgage payments XXXX due to the borrower ( my ex husband ) moving out and filing for divorce. Early XXXX I had my leg amputated and am now considered permanently XXXX so I have been unable to work since this time. When the borrower moved out, I was unable to maintain the payments on my own. The cost of everything has increased so drastically but my benefits stay the same. I applied for a loan modification and was repeatedly told that the documents I submitted were not received and to re-send them. I remember one specific occurrence where a representative said nothing was received and I sent it three times, the next person told me they had everything on file. I have time and time again called and submitted the necessary documents for my mortgage company to help me, only to get the run around. I applied again for a loan modification on XX/XX/XXXX and was told on XX/XX/XXXX that the investor of my loan is not willing to review another application for assistance at this time due to me not providing what was needed previously. THIS STATEMENT IS A FLAT OUT LIE! Time and time again I had my daughter drive me to XXXX so that I could send what was asked of me. The cost to send from XXXX became so much that I invested in my own scanner and printer to save both my daughter and I the headache of going to XXXX every other day. I have on leg and ca n't drive. I know with certainty that if you pull all phone conversations that I have had with SPS, you will hear the inconsistent communication from their end. You will hear me calling to confirm that they have what I sent only to be told over and over that it wasn't received. It is much easier to believe that SPS has no intention of helping me than my 20+ faxes, all showing successfully transmission, don't actually appear for your office. In the last two years I have lost my leg and my husband and now SPS wants to leave me homeless.

XXXX transfer the loan over to Select Portfolio Servicing. At XXXX i was down to XXXX $ on the loan when sps took over they charge me XXXX dollars now owe XXXX. When I make the XXXX ever month i quest interested only but when i do make payment over the phone or the internet .next month the XXXX is higher then the prier month. If I paying what they asking how can the payoff go up interested stay the same. SPS said that i sign some form from them, but I know I didn't sign nothing from them I asked for proof and they said they will send it to me that was i XXXX ago they saying we will send it. they don't have anything because i haven't sign anything from them i refuse to sign.

Consumer Complaint: I am having difficulty with SPS - Select Portfolio Servicing , Inc . I am the Estate Adminstrator/Heir of my mother 's property. During the beginning of the Covid 19 Pandemic I was sent a letter in XX/XX/XXXX that my mother 's estate would be placed into foreclosure and auctioned ; which I felt was extremely predatory since the entire nation was shut down and inactive. The notice was not from the mortgage company ; but looked like it was some type of legal advertisement. I shared the information with the attorney from the Land, Loss Prevention Program. I was informed not to take it seriously and that sometimes they send out these type advertisements and that if it were a true document I would also receive information from the mortgage company. I live in a marginalized community where gentrification has taken a strong hold. We only have an 18 % African American population and I am uncertain how many are homeowners ; but the gentrification process has created a massive exodus of original residents due to home foreclosures without assistance. From XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX I made double mortgage payments each month. My employment hours changed in XX/XX/XXXX so I continued to make the {$780.00} one time payment through XX/XX/XXXX since I was no longer able to make the double payments with other household responsibilities. Payments were always sent via bank wire and were accepted, I never received a letter stating they would not accept the monthly payments after I stopped making double payments. In XX/XX/XXXX, I sent the regular {$780.00} payment. I had spoken with a representative just to get clarity on the amount owed because often the statement amount and what they would share over the phone would be different. I shared that my hours increased at work and I would be able to continue double payments. I was informed by the representative that I needed to pay {$4000.00} within 3 weeks and that the {$780.00} that was sent would be returned. I explained that I would be making two additional payments in XXXX for {$780.00} which would have been more than half of the balance owed. I shared by XXXX with another two payments would cover what was delinquent. In XXXX they returned the {$780.00} and stopped taking payments. I am in the process of trying to become the Successor In Interest but each time the application is returned with an issue and I have sent the requested documents. In addition, I was recently sent a text on XX/XX/XXXX by a local realtor who flips houses and stated he saw my mother 's estate up for auction in late XXXX. I expressed that he was mistaken because I haven't received anything from SPS eluding to a hearing or a foreclosure. I was really disturbed because the public was aware and not me as the administrator. The Home Owner 's Insurance has never lapsed and comes in my name. The taxes come in my name and the mortgage payments. This summer the home owner 's insurance company contacted me and informed that an attorney 's office had called to tell them to cancel my policy. They were disturbed by it and contacted me because they felt it was suspicious and wanted to alert my attention. I just feel as though they intentionally wanted me not to get caught up with the payments so they could surreptitiously do what has always been done to families in marginalized areas trying to save their homes. I have no intention on selling. I would like to keep my home and I feel that I was diligently demonstrating trying to get caught up. I did make a hardship request that I be allowed to pay the {$4000.00} that was originally delinquent by the end of XX/XX/XXXX ; but I have not received a response. The punch to the gut is that my mother 's home that she built from the ground up is being scheduled to be auctioned on her birthday. If you could provide any support on my behalf I would sincerely appreciate it.

Consumer Complaint: I have been denied time and time again for retentions options by Select Portfolio Servicing. A repayment plan increasing my mmonthly payment by $ XXXX {$900.00} in my opinion is not real help. I'm sure all of the SPS employees would agree that if someone were to increase their rent/mortgage by that much, they too would see that is truly is no help during a pandemic to even offer such an outragous option and label it as " assistance '' On XX/XX/21 SPS stated that again for the 5th time, I was denied for rentention options. I then received a phone call from SPS at the end of XXXX to tell me that a new program had passed that I may qualify for. I received a letter dated XX/XX/21 from SPS stating they needed more paperwork from me. Documents were sent on XX/XX/21 with my bank statements being sent later, on XX/XX/21 per the SPS request for assistance review. I called SPS on XX/XX/21 to make sure they received the documents from XX/XX/21 and was told that I was denied for retention options. If they hadn't even received all of the document they requested via written letter dated XX/XX/21, how could I already be denied?! They put my literal life at risk by doing these things. I was already told I was denied and to liquidate so why did SPS call me, to give me false hope, have me go out in public places to get and fax documents, only to deny me before said documents are returned? We are very much still in the middle of a global pandemic with variants that are still killing people. I don't understand why I was denied, then contacted by SPS
