Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 certified letters were sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX at Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX de XXXX XXXX at Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX Chief Legal XXXX at Santander. The letter sent was requesting proof that the required notices before disposition of collateral and explanation of calculation of deficiency as required under the law was sent to me. We further went on to ask them to cease and desist all collection activity, including all credit reporting. Promptly request deletion of all any credit reporting to credit reporting agencies until they can provide the proof that the required notices before disposition of collateral and explanation of calculation of deficiency as required under the law was actually sent to me. Based on the tracking Santander receive the letter XX/XX/XXXX. Santander did not reply to my letter, so I was under the impression that Santander deleted the information off my credit report. To my surprise a couple of weeks ago I took a look at my credit report and notice Santander was still reporting incorrect derogatory information about me to the XXXX major credit reporting agencies. I wrote another set of letters to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX at Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX de XXXX XXXX at Santander, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX Chief Legal XXXX at Santander on XX/XX/2022 which they received XX/XX/2022 Still no response and the negative account still remains on my credit report. I have attached all the letters mailed, along with certified mail receipt and the proof of delivery from the post office.

During the process I was told that my account would be removed from my credit report following payment, as it is reporting delinquent. I had submitted multiple disputes through all three credit companies with supporting documentation. The reporting has been removed from my XXXX report but not from XXXX and XXXX. Beyond the settlement, Santander was subject to a lawsuit that agreed to delete defaulted loans, in which my loan meets the criteria. I am under substantial emotional stress as a result of this delinquent account.

They have also sent us power of attorney forms wanting us to sign and send to them so can make changes to our title ( which by the way shows no lien against the title ) We have talked to two XXXX that say do not sign anything and who also state that the company cant just reopen an account or report that to credit bureaus with out our signature.

Consumer Complaint: Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT! Get an auto loan through santander. I sent in a payoff check to pay off my loan in full when I refinanced with XXXX XXXX because I am a veteran and get a better rate with them, and was hit with a late payment. I called to rectify the situation and sent in the promissory note from XXXX XXXX to show that the check was sent in time and shouldn't have resulted in a late payment, but the still dinged my credit report with a late payment. They do not work with their customers, they do not operate ethically, they were just sued in XXXX for credit reporting violations in connection to their auto loans but the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. They were also sued in XXXX for illegal overdraft practices. They take any opportunity they can to prey on their consumers. They are the prime example of a predatory company.

Consumer Complaint: Ive submitted multiple complaints on this company and have yet to recieve my check in which they owe! They could not validate anything and they recieved my Cease and desist which they applied to the account. That alone lets you know that this company is aware of all the consumers it keeps violating yet chooses to continue. The lawsuit they recently sued for? Theres no question why! Theyve been practicing deceptive practices for years and now Im a victim. Im trying my best to be patient and settle this outside of court with this company but I need to recieve a check within the next 25 days!
