Consumer Complaint: To whom it may Concern, My name is XXXX XXXX and I leasing a car from XXXX. Santander took over and I've been paying without missing one payment except back in XXXX when Covid-19 hit badly. I missed about XXXX payments and since then until now I never missed a payment. I called and they told me to call Credit Bureaus and they should remove them. Credit Bureaus are saying we can't help you because Santander has to do the job. Santander doesn't answer emails, mails. NOTHING. Again I mailed them another goodwill letter on XX/XX/XXXX and still never responded. As I mentioned before about Covid-19 I went through a financially tragic moment where I lost my job due to Covid-19 and as a result, I missed XXXX payments. To make your process of deletion easier, please find the late payment dates below : XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Regards, XXXX

Consumer Complaint: As a federally protected CONSUMER I requested an extension of my credit from XXXX for family and household purposes and they processed the transaction with Santander. Santander fraudulently required me to put a downpayment to receive my extension of credit. Not only did they do that, but when I found a car for less money, they raised the down payment amount to {$21000.00} making the terms of the credit transaction impossible for me to move forward with. Santander is in violation of TILA. Santander has unauthorized use ( XXXX5 usc 1602 ( p ) ) of my credit card in which they received my number but of no benefit to me. It has only harmed my chances of bringing home the car. I am fully prepared to exercise my right to remedy under TILA and will avoid going through the normal channels, but to the trustee indenture, then court. This is not a full reflection of violations against me and actual damages have been experienced by not being able to bring home a new car. 15 U.S.C. 1602 - ( i ) The adjective consumer, used with reference to a credit transaction, characterizes the transaction as one in which the party to whom credit is offered or extended is a natural person, and the money, property, or services which are the subject of the transaction are primarily for personal, family, or household purposes.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a car with Santander Consumer USA in XX/XX/2020. This company is still practicing predatory lending practices. My amount financed was {$22000.00}. My finance charges were {$23000.00}. More than the purchase price of the car. Two years of paying nothing but finance charges and I still owe more on the car than what I financed it for. There is nothing truthful about their lending practices.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX and XXXX are and have been for over 4 years reporting inaccurate payment history of my 'Santander '' auto loan. Unfortunately, every time I tell them to delete the account per fair credit reporting law, each reporting agency UPDATES the information and the UPDATES are always still INACCURATE INFORMATION. XXXX has me making no payments on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX says I made on time paymentsXXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. When I called Santander today XX/XX/XXXX, Santander has no record of me making any payment since XXXX. Santander will not follow fair credit reporting rules either. There are other inaccuracies that I have disputed with Santander as well. This account should be deleted per fair reporting act as the history and payment is inaccurate. Santander Auto Finance, XXXX, and XXXX refuse to delete and to obey fair credit reporting laws. I have been calling and disputing them for over 4 years to no avail.
