Consumer Complaint: I have an issue with XXXX opening XXXX accounts in my name they have both been removed and then they put them back. Recently they sold the accounts to another collection company was never authorized. A credit card that was XXXX now showing XXXX XXXX and the XXXX XXXX that was XXXX XXXX now over XXXX XXXX. My credit was never that high to begin with. I have made several attempts to remove it and they take it off and put it back on again.

Consumer Complaint: Two years ago while applying for an apartment I was denied, and was curious why, so I performed a credit check with credit karma, and found that someone had used my identity to purchase something through a company called LVNV funding. I disputed the debt with three of the credit companies and XXXX and XXXX removed the debt because they said they were unable to validate the debt and i then went and had my credit frozen, XXXX is refusing to remove the debt because they are claiming the debt was verified, but even when i request a debt verification letter they sent a document that had a wrong address and a signature that consisted of characters and numbers, I was confused and spoke with a credit counselor who informed me that this was a digital signature and is not a validation of debt. I then reached out to XXXX again and request their American office where a gentleman named XXXX said that as long as a company can give a name, address, and social they consider that validation, and he gave me your information, because he said that is the same information that is used when stealing an identity.

They both have been calling and threating to take my social security check by garnishment. I have told them over and over to sop call and I do not owe this debt or know what they are talking about. These are the only things on my credit file which I didn't do. I'm XXXX XXXX XXXX and about to turn XXXX this XXXX. I have had the same local auto insurance company for over 25 years and I have never had an credit card. This should be unlawful to allow someone to open an account without 100 percent verification. I never gave permission or identification for neither one of these accounts.

I never gave LVNV FUNDING permission to use my identifying information to commit mail fraud by contacting me about an alleged debt they claim I owe. I am legally refusing to pay this debt pursuant to XXXX5 USC 1692c ( c ). I am demanding to cease and desist of all illegal activity, communication, and collection activity of this and any alleged debts until LVNV FUNDING can provide me with sufficient documentary evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay them. If this documentary evidence can not be produced and LVNV FUNDING continues its collection efforts, I will file for litigation for actual damages caused and LVNV FUNDING will be held criminally liable for aggravated identity theft pursuant to 18 USC 1028A, extortion pursuant to 18 USC 894, theft by deception, securities fraud, and mail fraud. I HAVE SENT PROOF OF A COURT RULING IN MY FAVOR TO BOTH COMPANIES AND NOTHING HAS HAPPEND I THINK ITS REALLY SAD THAT THESE COMPANIES CAN JUST RUIN A PERSONS CREDIT AND NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT THIS HAS CAUSED ME STRESS AND PROBLEMS WHEN NEEDING TO APLY THE USE OF CREDIT TO MY PERSONAL LIFE. Consumer Complaint: A XXXX Credit Card was sold to LVNV FUNDING and XXXX law suits were filed the first was dismissed to investigate the fraud claim the law firm for LVNV XXXX XXXX and XXXX never contacted me after that 3 months later they file a XXXX Law suit. I completed the fraud affidavit and filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX PD. And provided all requested information in regards to LVNV AND XXXX XXXX and XXXX to show proof this credit card along with 3 others were opened fraudulently by my exwife .. who admits to using my Social security number to open fraudulent accounts. Both LVNV and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX continue to peruse me legally for a fraudulent account. I have yet to receive a response from LVNV nor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in regards to their investigation or finding from the fraud affidavit that was sent to both companies over a month ago. The law suit is still pending and both companies continue to attempt to collect an account that was fraudulently open.

Consumer Complaint: I've notified all three credit reporting agencies about fraudulent activities. All have been notified in writing and online of my DISPUTE. I'm having issues with XXXX. One of two large accounts has been removed. One from LVNV Funding LLC in the amount of {$2700.00} has not been removed by them. Both of the accounts ( in the amounts of : {$5000.00} & {$2700.00} ) have been removed by XXXX. This reinvestigation has been ongoing for more than 30. I was notified by XXXX they needed to extend the time to XXXX and then extend to XX/XX/XXXX. This one account of {$2700.00} has not been deleted from my credit report with XXXX. Once it is deleted/removed, I will be approved to rent a studio apartment at a HUD community XXXX I've been denied due to these two collections that aren't mine. Please help me get this removed as I am a XXXX ( physically, mentally, and financially ) as well as identity theft. There are several people that have my SS number, CA ID, full name, and date of birth. It's very easy for someone to apply for credit in my name. All credit inquiries since XXXX are not mine. I only pay with my debit card or cash. I have not opened any line of credit or applied for anything other than this HUD apartment. Previously I was a home owner for 28 years. THANK YOU!

Consumer Complaint: I requested by email some credible information before I could proceed with this debt collector. I asked them to provide me a credible document from the original creditor staying how much they paid the creditor for my account after they threatened to sue me. They responded back indicating they would be forwarding my inquiry to another part of their company and to this date, I have not received the requested information. They have a 1.2 rating, law suits and multiple complaints online. They have refused to verify what they paid for this and put the inflated amount on my credit report. They try to use tactics to collect the balance on this card after the credit card company just kept adding late fees even after I closed the account. The card was authorized for XXXX and they are asking for double that amount when they can not show credible proof that they paid this amount to the original creditor.
