Consumer Complaint: In 2013 I applied for a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX. The limit was {$300.00}. I called and told them my card was lost and I needed a replacement. I never recieved it so I didn't think twice about it until years later this portfolio recovery company was calling me and my mother and sending letter. I disputed it at that time. They denied my dispute. I even filed an identity theft claim with the ftc. My ex- roommate stole my identity. Now it's 10 years later and it's still giving me a low credit score!

Consumer Complaint: While at work on XX/XX/ a person approached my apartment unit while I was not there. An air conditioner installer heard a knock on the door and assumed it was me answered the door. The person who knocked on the door asked if the air conditioner installer if he was me and the person installing the air conditioner said no! Why? I was later told that the person at the door said because you owe this debt and proceeded to show the air conditioner installer documents with my personal information and a dollar amount! The air conditioner installer said that he was not me and left. When I got home from work I found these documents laying out as is! I am currently responding to this summons and filing this complaint at the same time. Its embarrassing and humiliating what unprofessionalism can do. I am not sure how many people on my floor saw my personal information. I asked security if anyone checked in to gain access to our secure building and was told no one signed in for my apartment or me on that day and access to the elevator is done with a key fob. ;

The balance on XX/XX/XXXX was XXXX, I made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX for {$150.00} the last payment made. The balance due on XX/XX/XXXX was {$4700.00}. The statement on XX/XX/XXXX was {$5600.00} ( an additional {$970.00} in 2 months ). My credit report shows a balance of {$5700.00}. I believe the balance due is incorrect. I am requesting that Portfolio provide the correct information on this debt. My last payment was on XX/XX/XXXX but the collection account was not opened until XX/XX/XXXX, according to my credit report. The statute of limitations is 4 months of late payments, the account should have been sent to collections on XX/XX/XXXX, but this was not done until XX/XX/XXXX - 1 year and 1 month past the statute of limitations, and additional time to be on my credit report. This company has improperly and inaccurately reported a debt on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: There is a company called Portfolio Recovery and XXXX XXXX that are trying to ruin my credit. These are debt buying companies that go around and purchase these acts for XXXX on the XXXX and expect me to pay them. I have asked numerous times for copy of original creditor contract, copies of all payments made to original creditors with balances, and proof original creditor handed them of my acts and how much they paid for them. I have yet to receive any information Ive asked for. Ive disputed these accts several times with all credit bureaus and they have done nothing either but keep saying the acts are accurate and not providing me with the documents Ive asked for. If I do not receive them within 30 days the accts should be removed off my credit reports. They are still being reported. I want all these acts removed from my credit report. Ive already received lawsuit on one of these accts from XXXX XXXX I have to go to court over.
