Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I made a purchase through PayPal using my MasterCard Debit card. Upon checking the status of my order on XX/XX/2020 I discovered that the website used to make the purchase was used fraudulently and my order did not exist. I immediately reported it to PayPal and requested a refund of my purchase price on XX/XX/2020 and disputed the transaction as fraud. My dispute was denied and my account charged. The seller is not able to be reached and also does not exist, there was no proof of delivery and no tracking number issued. PayPal can not be reached by phone and I have continued to attempt to file disputes reporting the fraud. Consumer Complaint: can not access PayPal account under husbands email, someone else has control of it and two-step authorization directs to someone else 's phone number. My husband has a paypal account under his email address. someone has hijacked it and changed the phone number to another number, so when he tries to access it, it's not allowing us. We have tried for YEARS to have someone at Paypal help us and NO ONE will. My husband has stopped using the account, but we have no idea who has access to that account, and what information they might have access to, why they have access to the account, and why we can't get into the account. NO ONE at paypal will help us resolve this. We have tried to resolve this issue multiple times. he can't access ANYONE over there b/c you have to have an ACCOUNT to access customer service and he CAN'T access his account. I'm trying to help him through my account and i'm getting nowhere. we are at our wits end. We have submitted complaints through XXXX, tried to communicate with Paypal 's executive office ( XXXX ), etc., but they will not close the Paypal account tied to the email that my husband has had for 15 years.

Consumer Complaint: Unfair and deceptive practices! We are at XXXX XXXX XXXX and decided to use PayPal to process our credit card transactions. We went online and processed the credit cards. PayPal said there is a 21 day hold on funds because XXXX XXXX wasnt used to do this, that I used PayPal Here. Which it also allows you to do virtual card processing. It is confusing and deceptive in order to hold money and make interest. They currently have a hold on over $ XXXX. With the country halfway shut down and money is tight they refused to offer any type of onetime resolutions. We sell a service not products so we do NOT have shipping labels.

She does not have a PayPal account, but I had done it before with another friend and he opened an account. He never told me any details. Only ONE bank in XXXX works with PayPal and my friend does not have an account with them and can't open one. Her email said that if she does not take the money, it will be returned to me by XX/XX/2020. No money has been returned to me and she has not taken the money. I filed a report with PayPal and they never address what I've actually written. There was no warning to me that I should not send money to someone who does not have an account. Out of frustration, I filed another complaint that there was suspicious activity. That confused things, and I regret doing it.
